Chapter 1915: A Tree

Azief closes his eyes and the dizzying feeling did not dissipate.

Instead, the feeling is even stronger. It is like he is inhaling some kind of drug that is harming his brain.

That is what he felt right now

The heart beats like it is about to explode and the soul is shaken.

Azief at this moment is asking himself, why?

Why would a travel though time and space would have such an effect?

This is not the first time he travel though time and space.

He even race inside the Time Space Continuum tunnel.

And he himself has quite the grasp on time and space law.

It should not be that he would be affected this much by a simple travelling through space time

While he did not dare say he is a master of time and space, he is quite proficient in it.

When compared to people like Jean who made the rule and law of time and space as his specialities, yes, Azief had to admit he is inferior in understanding of time and space. But that is relative to the person he is comparing with

He is still more proficient than the majority of the living beings in the Omniverse

Even more so, when his realm reached the Essence Creation realm.

When that Divine Monkey brought him to that immortal mountain, he was also travelling through time and space and there is no such dizzying experience that it even shakes the soul

There must be something different

Azief close his eyes and he is trying to think of the reason but then Odin voice seems to echoes in his mind

“There is monsters”

Azief was stunned for a moment and then he calms his heart down.

A few minutes later, Azief managed to calm down his soul and he opened his eyes.

Then he got up.

He did not look at the tree in front of him instead he look at Odin.

Odin is now sitting on top of a stone not far away from a tall bush. He did not wear a golden armour, looking neither kingly or majestic.

Instead, he wears a grey patched robe, holding a wooden cane, looking like an old man wandering the world resting for a moment in his eternal journey

Looking at him, there is this feeling that you wanted to help him and offer him the gift of hospitality.

Even Azief who could see though most illusion and could see through most of feeling manipulation was nearly manipulated just by looking at Odin.

He took a deep breath and then he ask

“What do you mean by monsters?”

Odin did not answer…..instead he walk.

Azief follows.

And as he walks, he looks around him

This is the Tree.

Yggdrasil.

That is one of its name.

The Tree of Creation.

The tree of life.

And many more names appearing in many stories in different forms, all referring to this majestic tree.

He is not surprised that he could not see Alsurt. This must be a different side of the tree.

Or maybe it is on one of its branches.

Azief heard in the Jade Empire, there is a giant turtle.

There is a world on the back of that turtle

A world. Imagine how large that turtle has to be.

It swims along the stars and the sky is as high as the power of that turtle.

But that turtle is not the most biggest creature in Jade Empire. This tree, this fabled and mystical tree is said to be one of the largest tree in existence.

Azief did not know enough large tree to confirm it but for something to have this kind of reputation in the Omniverse, there must be some truth to it

And if this tree is larger than the turtle, then it would not be weird for one to travel it even a thousand years and could not reach the base.

Maybe this is not the base but the middle of the tree.

And the branches are so large and wide, that it looks like a barren plain.

Azief had all of these thoughts as he walk beside Odin.

He looks at Odin and Odin look around like he is enjoying the walk

“Monsters” he suddenly said

Azief nodded

“I am not there. So, all of the monsters, all of the evildoers is unchained”

Azief listen to this. But he did not quite understand

“That Monkey did not understand you as I do. Because that monkey is always in seclusion in his immortal mountain. He is alone in the Six realms. But he has the power to be alone. And he did not like dealing with the Sages or the Enlightened Ones”

“But, I did. In that other timeline, I watch over you” Azief eyebrows narrows. Odin then paused. He smiles and then he keeps walking forward

He did not finish his words.

Then he continues saying

“I did not do anything or meddle with you, or contact you in that other timeline if you are curious about it” Odin smiles. Azief could only sigh. He is curious and Odin knows it

“You are not surprised?” But then Odin chuckles

“Wargod told you”

“Not everything”

Odin nodded

“Some paths, one has to walk it alone. Only then it means something. Only then, would you learn something. He wanted you to fall, to scape your knee, so you could learn. And learning from your mistake could lead to wonderful conclusion”

Odin then went silent for a moment before saying

“let’s go back to the monsters” Odin paused for a moment while he goes to a tree. Azief is suddenly shocked

He looks around and then he suddenly found the area around him is a forest area. he could feel chills all over his body

“I am quite sure the area is barren before” he thought to himself. What makes him feels chill is that he did not even realize when he is in this area

They just spoke a few words and before he knew it he is in this area where there is all kinds of trees, there is thick deep bushes, and Azief could even hear the sound of a lake in the distance.

Before, there is a barren land all around him. All he could see as far as his eyes could see was an empty land

But now, there is a forest in front of his eyes. Odin is in front of a tree, plucking a fruit and then taking a bite of the fruit. It looks like an apple but it has three stripes. Red, golden and green

Odin takes another bites and the crunchy sound could be heard.

Then he throws the fruit to him.

Azief grabs it in the air and look at it

“Eat it. It will make you focus better and added a few thousand years to your lifespan.” Azief was shocked when he heard this

“It is a bit like the Peach of Immortality” Azief took it into his mouth and the moment he eat it he could feel the energy coursing through his body.

He could feel the vitality inside his body is stimulated and he could feel this energy embedding itself into his body increasing his vitality.

His lifespan probably increase even more

And his mind suddenly feel clear.

Then Odin keep walking and Azief follow as he walk beside Odin.

But this time something was different.

This time he notices something he did not notice before.

As he walk alongside Odin, he could see that the space around him is being pinched by some kind of invisible force.

And each step he walk, he walks ten thousand miles in one step.

But he is not the one that is manipulating the space and time around him. It is Odin.

And as long as he walk alongside Odin, the space around Odin that has bene pinched by him also affects him

His focus before is not enough. His Divine Sense itself was not strong enough to even register the changes around him

Because if you blink you could miss it. That is what Azief felt right now. And as for the reason he could see it, it must be because of that fruit.

“I was talking about the monster before right?”

Azief nodded.

Now that he knows, he is not that worried anymore.

Around him, the scenery changes quickly but he could focus on Odin and at the same time notices the changes of scenery around him without it affecting him

Odin was not lying about how this fruit let him focus.

“it must have the effect of also strengthening mental power” Azief would have ask for more if not for the fact that he knows the rules

Asking it means owing Odin.

And if there is someone that you don’t want to owe things with, it would be Odin

Odin then said

“usually, at this time, I would be in a slumber to prepare my body for the inevitable final battle” he thought about for a moment before he chuckles a bit

“I would be sleeping. But even when I am sleeping, my powers would protect the Eight realms. But I am not there right now. So, Thor, Sif, Frigga and others would have to contain these monsters”
