My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 781 781: A Heart Of Pure Evil

Nicolas stood at the entrance with a frozen look on his face. He stared at the scene inside the room in disbelief, as though he’d seen a ghost—one that was terrifying beyond words.
Looking at what was happening, Nicolas felt like he had swallowed a live fly—one that reeked unbearably.
His blood pressure surged rapidly, his face turned red from anger, and his body began trembling in rage.
Once his fury reached a boiling point, Nicolas screamed at the top of his lungs. “AISHA!! WHAT’S THE MEANING OF THIS?!?!”
“WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SITTING ON ANOTHER MAN’S LAP WHILE YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND IS WAITING FOR YOU OUTSIDE?!”
“Future husband? When did that happen? Why don’t I know about it?” Aisha looked at Nicolas with a mocking smile as she sat comfortably on Yuan’s lap, her arms wrapped around his neck.
This further enraged Nicolas. He looked as though he might lash out at both of them and rip Aisha’s tongue out with his bare hands.
Unfortunately for him, as soon as he entered the room, he felt an unfathomable pressure. It was overwhelming, and he immediately realized that the young man embracing his daughter was incredibly powerful.
‘What is this pressure? It’s just like before…’ Nicolas began to sweat, and concern surfaced on his face as he stared at Yuan.
He could see the resemblance—Yuan shared features with Anna, Grace, and even Aisha. But none of that mattered to him anymore. He had to bring Aisha with him, no matter what.
The guests from the Drake Clan were still waiting to meet their future daughter-in-law. They expected Aisha to appear for a brief conversation before finalizing everything.
“You should get out of here and stop disturbing us with your useless nonsense. I’m busy right now,” Aisha said to Nicolas with a disdainful look, then turned her focus back to Yuan.
Yuan didn’t say anything. He simply kept his eyes fixed on Nicolas while hugging Aisha affectionately with both hands. However, hearing Nicolas yell at Aisha was starting to fuel his anger.
“YOU UNGRATEFUL WRETCH!! GET OFF THAT BASTARD AND GET READY!! THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!!”
Nicolas screamed at Aisha, completely losing control. He could barely hold himself back anymore.
At that moment, Angela and the others entered the room. They were stunned to see the shattered door and found Nicolas standing inside, seething with rage.
“Nicolas! You bastard! What the hell are you doing inside my room?! And how did this door get broken?!” Angela screamed, her face twisted in fury. She could barely contain her anger just looking at him.
“You shut your filthy mouth, woman. Don’t get into my business. This has nothing to do with you since you’re no longer my wife. You’re an outsider now,” Nicolas snarled before approaching Aisha with a cold gleam in his eyes. His intentions were clear to everyone in the room.
Nicolas planned to take Aisha by force. Since she refused to go with him willingly, he had resolved to drag her out of the room himself. He saw no other option.
Just as he was about to reach for Aisha’s hand, Yuan—who had been silent the entire time—finally spoke.
He said a single word.
“Stop.”
His voice was calm like a gentle breeze, but also cold at the same time. However, it carried the weight of a command from a divine being.
Nicolas felt a pressure that made him freeze in place. It was as if his body had stopped responding entirely—he couldn’t move his hand forward anymore.
A smile appeared on Aisha’s face as she heard Yuan’s voice, which immediately halted Nicolas from approaching her.
“Y-You… Who the hell are you to interfere with my clan’s affairs?” Nicolas growled, gritting his teeth as he looked at Yuan with raised brows.
“It doesn’t matter who I am. What matters is that I’m here to stop you from forcing my woman to marry someone else. She belongs to me, and no one else can have what is mine,” Yuan said coldly, releasing a hint of killing intent that sent Nicolas flying out of the room.
Angela stepped forward with a stern look on her beautiful face, staring down at Nicolas with cold, burning eyes filled with endless rage.
“Nicolas, you’ve gone too far with your idiocy. My daughter isn’t some object you can use for your dirty politics,” Angela snapped, looking at Nicolas, who was now lying on the floor with his clothes dirtied.
“You’ve gone completely mad from your own greed. You sold Anna and Grace because you believed they were no longer useful, like they were tools or objects.”
“But that wasn’t enough for you… You went after Aisha as well. Are you even human at this point? What kind of pathetic mindset do you have in that rotten brain of yours?”
“You’re a stranger to me now. You’re no longer the person I once loved and cared for—you’re nobody to us.” Angela declared, her eyes red with fury, years of suppressed anger finally exploding forth.
“Hmph! Do you think I ever loved you? Don’t make me laugh, Angela!” Nicolas snarled with a mocking smile as he stood up and brushed off his clothes.
“I only acted like I loved you so I could possess you. That’s all. I just wanted your unique bloodline to strengthen my own lineage.”
“However, it turned out to be a failed experiment. And since then, you’ve been useless to me.” Nicolas grinned cruelly, further stoking Angela’s burning rage.
He continued with that same twisted expression, proudly declaring, “In this world, love is meaningless. Only strength matters! With strength, you can do anything. You can take anything.”
Angela trembled upon hearing his words. She felt utterly devastated. The man before her had toyed with her emotions like a game, and her heart shattered from the pain.
Anna, Grace, and the others were left speechless by Nicolas’s words. They couldn’t believe what they were hearing or seeing.
They looked at him as though he were no longer human. His heart was darker than a demon’s—at least demons knew love.
‘This person… He isn’t human. He doesn’t have a heart. Only a devil could be this vile!’ Angela broke down inwardly. Her emotions surged like a tidal wave, crashing against her soul.
She had sacrificed everything for the man standing before her. Yet, to him, it had all been a game—an experiment to strengthen his bloodline.
What utter nonsense…
‘How dare he play with my emotions and feelings… He must pay… Nicolas must pay for his sins!’ Angela screamed inwardly, her eyes burning with rage as she stared at the man who had toyed with her heart for so long.
She turned toward Yuan with a firm, unwavering expression and declared, “Dear, kill this man before me. He has the heart of pure evil. He doesn’t deserve to live a second longer.”
“Understood, Grandma,” Yuan nodded as he gently set Aisha aside onto the sofa before rising to his feet.
‘G-Grandma? H-He’s Anna’s son?!’ Nicolas looked at Yuan with disbelief, finally piecing together the resemblance he hadn’t noticed before.
‘T-This is impossible! Anna has a son?! How could I not know about this?!’ Nicolas screamed in his mind, dumbfounded by the sudden revelation.
“Darling, don’t show mercy to that man. He made us suffer so much that I don’t even want to speak of it,” Anna said coldly, her voice devoid of any warmth.
Yuan gave her a soft, reassuring smile and nodded. “Don’t worry, Mom Anna. I’ll make him suffer first… and then I’ll kill him. His death will be more painful and brutal than that of the tens I’ve killed before.”
“Don’t show even a shred of mercy. He doesn’t deserve it!” Angela said firmly, her voice full of righteous fury. Her intent was clear to everyone in the room—this wasn’t just justice. This was retribution.
“It’s pathetic,” Yuan muttered, walking closer to Nicolas. “To think your own wife and children want you dead… you might be the most pathetic excuse for a man I’ve ever encountered.”
Yuan’s cold gaze pierced Nicolas as he continued, “But you know what’s truly amusing? I should hate you… but I’m thankful. Because if you hadn’t thrown away Anna and Grace like trash, I wouldn’t have been born. I wouldn’t have met them. I wouldn’t exist.”
“Now… get ready to experience pain you’ve never imagined.” Yuan’s grin widened as he took one slow, deliberate step after another toward the man frozen by fear.
Nicolas couldn’t move. His legs trembled uncontrollably, but his body refused to obey. His heart pounded in his chest like a war drum. The oppressive pressure emanating from Yuan overwhelmed every fiber of his being.
‘What the hell is wrong with this brat?! Why can’t I move?!’ Nicolas panicked, sweat pouring down his face as Yuan reached for him.
“I’ll start with this useless arm of yours,” Yuan said with an eerie smile. “Try not to scream like a little girl… Hahaha!”
Without hesitation, Yuan grabbed Nicolas’s arm—and with a vicious pull—ripped it clean from its socket.
Blood sprayed like a fountain, splattering across the room.
“AGHHHHHHHH!!!” Nicolas shrieked in agony, his voice cracking as the searing pain exploded through his body. His vision blurred, and his head spun violently as if it would tear itself apart.
