My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 814: Vrasha

Chapter 814: Vrasha
“Well,” Mireya began, her voice carrying a mix of pride and warmth, “although this might come as a surprise… the handsome young man here is Yuan—my husband.”
She glanced at him with a loving gaze, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush.
Kitsura’s eyes widened slightly, her usually unreadable face giving way to genuine surprise. For a moment, she simply looked between the two of them, as if confirming she’d heard correctly.
’So it’s like this…’ she thought, letting out a slow breath. ’He is handsome—extremely so, in fact. No wonder my little Mireya has fallen for him.’
Her gaze lingered on Yuan for a beat longer, her lips curving in an almost imperceptible smile.
’And to think… even I—a woman over five centuries old—can’t deny finding him attractive. There’s something more to him… but what exactly?’
Her nine long, lustrous tails shifted lazily behind her, the movement subtle yet mesmerizing.
Turning her attention to the women seated close to Yuan, Kitsura’s eyes sparkled with curiosity. “And what about these lovely ladies?” she asked with a sly grin. “They seem just as close to him as you are.”
“They are…” Mireya’s tone softened as she began to introduce each one—Xi Meili, Fang Xiaoyan, Valeria, and the others—her words laced with an almost familial fondness.
Once the introductions were done, Kitsura leaned back, her smile deepening. “I truly never expected you to take a husband so soon, Little Mireya… but I see now why you did. He’s… striking. Quite possibly the most handsome man I’ve seen in a very, very long time.”
Her eyes flicked toward Yuan again, holding his gaze for just a heartbeat too long.
“Even I find him attractive,” she admitted unabashedly, her voice a low purr.
“Aunt Kitsura,” Mireya said with a light laugh, “don’t stare too much. My husband has a way of making women fall for him without even trying.”
“Fall for him? Hah! Do you think my heart is so easily swayed?” Kitsura teased, sitting up straighter.
“I’ve been single for over five centuries, rejecting countless proposals—Kaelrath’s included. And trust me, that man has been persistent to a fault.”
Mireya tilted her head. “Just how many times has he tried?”
Even Yuan and the others leaned in slightly, curious to hear the answer. After all, Kaelrath wasn’t just anyone—he was the lord of Crimsonfang Peak, one of the most feared figures in the Beast Continent.
Kitsura chuckled lightly. “Over two hundred rejections… and he still hasn’t learned. He shows up at my village every few years, thinking I’ll change my mind. That man is a stubborn, insufferable nuisance.”
Valeria smirked. “Seems he’s made trouble for you just as much as he has for us. Typical Kaelrath behavior.”
“Trouble?” Kitsura scoffed softly, leaning back against the sofa. Her pose was relaxed, yet every movement dripped with natural allure.
“He’s been a thorn in my side for three hundred years. I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever have peace. And more than once, he’s tried to threaten me into submission.”
Yuan swallowed reflexively, a faint chill running down his spine. There was something about Kitsura—something unsettling. She didn’t ’try’ to be alluring… she simply was, even in the most mundane of gestures.
Even the smallest shift of her body seemed impossibly seductive, and Yuan’s gaze was almost magnetically drawn to her—her flawless curves, her ample chest, and her perfectly shaped hips.
’I’d love to bury my face between her breasts… and thighs… and hold those soft, furry tails while I sleep,’ Yuan thought, unable to stop the flood of images running through his mind.
’I need some fresh air… she’s far too tempting to ignore.’ He sighed, standing up from the sofa.
“I’m going outside for a bit of fresh air. You all can continue chatting,” Yuan said before walking toward the balcony.
“I’ll join you,” Valeria replied, rising from her seat with a playful smile as she followed him.
“Don’t take too long, okay?” Mireya called out with a teasing smile.
She had noticed Yuan’s struggle to keep his eyes off Kitsura. Considering just how stunning and dangerously alluring her aunt was, it didn’t surprise her in the least.
’It’s actually kind of funny… Yuan running away because of Aunt Kitsura. But I can’t blame him—Aunt is breathtaking.’ Mireya smirked to herself.
Kitsura, watching them leave, tilted her head slightly in thought.
’Oh… so that’s why he’s leaving? Because of me? How adorable… He really is cute.’ Her lips curled in a faint smile. ’I’ll have to tease him more later. For now, I’ll focus on my dear Little Mireya.’
Meanwhile, on the balcony, Yuan stood beside Valeria, taking in the stunning view of the city below as a gentle breeze brushed their faces.
“Shall we go somewhere?” Yuan asked with a smile. “A little adventure?”
“Like a date?” Valeria’s eyes glimmered as her lips curved in a small grin.
“That’s right—a romantic date with my beautiful wife.” Yuan nodded, gently taking her hand.
“You have quite the silver tongue, my dear husband.” Valeria chuckled softly before leaning in to kiss his cheek.
Moments later, the two of them rose high into the sky, the kingdom sprawling beneath them as they smiled at one another. Then, without hesitation, they shot eastward, slicing through clouds with incredible speed.
Valeria held tightly onto his hand, her excitement for their “date” clear in her eyes.
Neither of them realized they were heading straight toward the territory of the Ogre Tribe—a land of towering, brutish warriors.
Before long, they descended beside a serene riverside, the air filled with the sound of rushing water. Massive rocks dotted the shore, one of which they climbed to sit upon.
From their perch, the view of the river was mesmerizing, the steady murmur of flowing water soothing their ears.
“This is quite the romantic place to clear the mind, isn’t it?” Valeria asked, leaning gently against Yuan’s arm with a sweet smile.
“It’s the perfect spot to relax,” Yuan replied warmly, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her closer.
While the two enjoyed their quiet moment atop the massive rock, a pair of eyes watched them from afar. A female ogre, hidden behind a boulder, squinted in surprise.
“Humans? Here? And on that rock?” she muttered to herself, her tone half-curious, half-skeptical. “How did they even get up there?”
Her lips curled into a small grin. “I suppose I should find out. Besides… I’ve never seen humans up close before. This might be my only chance.”
She slung an enormous sword across her back and began striding toward the couple, her heavy steps barely muffled by the grass.
Meanwhile, Valeria, unaware of the approaching figure, admired the shimmering river. The air was calm, the water’s soft murmur soothing.
“Tell me honestly,” she said with a teasing glance, “were you a little enchanted by Miss Kitsura’s… seductive charm?”
Yuan chuckled. “I can’t lie to my wife. Yes, I was—enough that I had the sudden urge to pull her close and… well… bury my face in those enormous melons of hers.”
Valeria smirked knowingly.
“But,” Yuan added, “I didn’t want to embarrass Mireya by openly flirting with her aunt, so I came out here to cool my head.”
“I knew it the moment I saw her,” Valeria said, shaking her head with a sigh and a smile. “She’s irresistible to you.”
“True. But it’s not just me,” Yuan said with a faint grin. “I think she was interested as well.”
“Oh, absolutely,” Valeria replied with confidence. “Her eyes stayed on you longer than they should have. I noticed—trust me. She’s totally into you.”
Yuan chuckled. “Then I might be getting a new sister soon. She gives me a predatory vibe… the kind that pounces when the moment’s right.”
Valeria’s lips curved into a sly smile. “I agree. She’ll definitely make her move if given the chance.”
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of footsteps behind them. Both instantly turned, alert.
What they saw made them freeze for a moment—a towering woman with a muscular frame, skin the shade of weathered stone, and a single black horn protruding from her forehead.
A massive sword rested across her back, its blade nearly her height and thick enough to cleave a boulder. Her right hand held the limp body of a red-horned deer, its blood still fresh.
She stopped a few paces away, then slowly raised both hands in the air. The deer slid from her grasp and hit the ground with a thud.
“Did I startle you two?” the ogre woman asked calmly. “Don’t worry… I mean no harm.”
Yuan and Valeria were startled by the sudden appearance of the towering woman, but their curiosity quickly took over as they studied her unique features.
“Who are you? And… what kind of beastman are you, exactly?” Yuan asked politely, his tone cautious. He had no desire to spark unnecessary trouble.
Valeria’s sharp eyes lingered on the stranger for several seconds. There was something oddly familiar about her appearance.
“Hmm… could you be an ogre? From the Ogre Tribe I’ve heard about?” Valeria asked, tilting her head slightly.
For a brief moment, surprise flashed in the woman’s eyes before she smiled broadly.
“You guessed right. I am indeed an ogre from the Ogre Tribe,” the woman confirmed with a nod. “Judging by your faces, I’d say you’ve never met one of my kind before—that explains the look in your eyes.”
Yuan and Valeria nodded. It was true—they had never encountered an ogre. Ogres rarely left the Beast Continent, and almost never traveled beyond its borders, so it was no surprise their paths had never crossed before.
“By the way,” the ogre continued, “my name is Vrasha—the strongest female warrior of my tribe. And who might you two be, humans?”
“Vrasha, huh? That’s a beautiful name,” Yuan replied with a smile. “I’m Yuan, and this is Valeria—my wife.”
“Yuan… Valeria… quite unusual names,” Vrasha repeated, her tone tinged with curiosity. “Are you two from the Human Continent, perhaps?”
’This human male… so handsome,’ Vrasha thought to herself, her gaze lingering on Yuan. ’Exactly my type. But I am a proud warrior—I will not give in to temptation so easily. First, I must test his strength. If he proves worthy… then I’ll accept him as my mate.’
“Indeed,” Yuan said, nodding. “We came from the Human Continent to the Elven Kingdom. By the way, what brings you here? Were you planning to bathe?”
“Not exactly,” Vrasha replied with a smile. “I came to clean the spoils of my hunt. My tribe is nearby, and I needed this for my meal. In our tribe, we hunt our own food.”
