My Celestial Ascension - Chapter 886: Treasure Pavilion

Chapter 886: Treasure Pavilion
Yuan and his wives immediately stopped searching and gathered around Aisha. They studied the map for a few minutes, carefully memorizing all the important locations within the sect.
“There is a hidden chamber in this building. First, let’s find it and see what’s inside before heading to the other locations,” Anna Grace said to everyone, and they all agreed without hesitation.
After some searching, Yuan and his wives discovered a dragon statue carved from rare jade. It was crafted to absolute perfection, so lifelike that it almost seemed alive.
“This must be the key to accessing the secret chamber beneath this building. There should be a hidden mechanism that opens the path to the chamber,” Mireya said as she carefully examined the dragon statue up close.
The statue was as tall as a human, and every detail had been carved to perfection. However, Yuan felt that something was missing from the statue—it was merely a vague sensation that arose as he observed it for a few seconds.
’There is something missing from the statue… but what could it be?’ Yuan pondered silently while staring at it.
A few seconds later, he noticed that one of the dragon statue’s claws was shaped as if it were meant to hold something, yet the claw itself was empty.
Suddenly, Yuan raised his eyebrows as realization struck him.
’Of course, it’s the Dragon Bead that’s missing from its claw… but finding the Dragon Bead would be almost impossible. We have no idea where it could be,’ Yuan sighed inwardly in disappointment.
In the end, Yuan had no way to access the secret chamber beneath the building without the Dragon Bead.
Just then, Xi Meili walked over to the statue, created a small sphere with her Qi, and gently placed the Qi sphere into the statue’s claw where the Dragon Bead should have been.
Suddenly, a green aura enveloped the entire statue as its eyes glowed with a brilliant golden light.
Roarrrrrr!!!! A terrifying dragon roar echoed throughout the room as an ethereal dragon form emerged above the statue, roaring toward the sky before circling the entire chamber.
When the dragon returned to the statue, the entire building began to tremble violently as part of the floor suddenly shifted, revealing a staircase that led underground.
Yuan looked at Xi Meili with a stunned expression, disbelief clearly written across his face.
“H-How did you do that?” he asked, still shocked by how effortlessly the path had opened for them.
“I simply matched the frequency of the energy emitted by the statue and formed a temporary core with my Qi, one that resonates with the same frequency,” Xi Meili replied with an innocent expression.
“I see…” Yuan sighed softly before turning his gaze toward the newly revealed staircase.
’I didn’t know it could be opened that way… I was planning to leave this place. But Xi Meili managed to open it,’ Yuan thought as he proceeded forward, his wives following him silently.
Once the stairway ended, a massive door stood before them, with the same dragon pattern carved onto it, its eyes seeming to stare directly at them.
“I don’t think we can use the same trick to open this door… it seems to be heavily guarded by some powerful arrays,” Yuan said to his wives with a dry smile as his Divine Sense was immediately blocked by the door.
“Not just one. There are multiple arrays working together, forming a grand array that is extremely powerful,” Xi Meili explained. “Unless we have an expert array master with us, it would be useless to even attempt cracking it.”
“However,” Xi Meili muttered as she stepped closer to the door and used her Divine Sense to examine the array carefully.
Once she finished examining it, she turned back to Yuan with a smile and said, “However, the array’s energy is nearly depleted. What remains can only keep it active. It can no longer defend itself.”
“Does that mean we could destroy the array with a powerful attack?” Sylvia asked, slightly raising her eyebrows.
“Absolutely,” Xi Meili nodded immediately, a wide smile spreading across her face.
“Then shall I try?” Vrasha said as she pulled out her massive sword from her spatial ring, a fierce grin on her face.
“Of course, you can try. But focus on striking this part of the door—this is the weakest point of the array formation,” Xi Meili said with a smile, pointing toward the weak spot.
“Alright. I’ll give it a try,” Vrasha nodded as she firmly gripped her sword with both hands. Her cultivation surged explosively as her sword began glowing with a brilliant golden light.
Bang! The moment her attack struck the massive door, a violent explosion erupted, shaking the entire underground area.
Everyone waited for the smoke to disperse, their expressions filled with anticipation as they wondered what lay hidden behind the enormous door.
When the smoke finally cleared, the door was slightly ajar, and a golden light spilled out through the gap, instantly shocking Yuan and his wives.
“It’s opened…” Vrasha murmured softly before swiftly storing her sword back into her spatial ring.
“Let’s go inside,” Yuan said with excitement as he pushed the door fully open, golden light bathing his entire body.
Once inside, Yuan’s eyes sparkled with amazement as countless scrolls and techniques lay within, along with numerous pill bottles neatly arranged in designated spots throughout the room.
Many powerful artifacts were displayed within cases mounted along the walls, and there were countless other treasures as well. Everything inside the room was incredibly valuable, and there wasn’t even a single speck of dust anywhere.
It was as if Yuan and his wives had opened a time capsule untouched by time, with everything preserved in absolutely perfect condition.
“Let’s take everything and head to the next location,” Yuan said with an excited tone as he looked at all the treasures scattered around the chamber.
Most of the techniques he found were above Heaven Grade and extremely useful, even rare. These techniques would be incredibly beneficial for both him and his wives in the future.
Inside the chamber, there were not only martial techniques but also several Divine Grade and Ancient Grade cultivation techniques as well.
Once they finished clearing the entire chamber and stored everything inside their spatial rings, they left the building and headed toward the next location.
The next destination was the Treasure Pavilion of the Earth Immortal Sect, a place where numerous valuable and powerful weapons were stored. The pavilion was located on the eastern side of the sect, so it only took them a few minutes to reach it.
Following the directions on the map, they soon arrived before a magnificent building that towered high into the air and contained many floors.
A huge signboard hung above the entrance, with the words ’Treasure Pavilion’ written in bold letters. The dark ink was still clearly visible and easily readable despite the passage of time.
However, the door was locked from the outside with a massive lock. Without the key, the door could not be opened, as an array formation was embedded within the lock, and only the corresponding key could unlock it.
“Since we don’t have the key, we can only force our way into the Treasure Pavilion,” Yuan said with a smile as he retrieved his sword from his system storage.
Slash! Click! He unleashed his Sword Aura and sword technique in one swift motion, slicing through the lock. The lock couldn’t withstand the attack and instantly fell to the ground.
“It’s open. Let’s go inside and see what kind of surprise is waiting for us,” Yuan said before pushing the door open and stepping inside.
His wives followed him in and were greeted by rows upon rows of weapons on display. There was a counter near the entrance, but no one stood behind it.
The counter was coated in a thick layer of dust, reminding Yuan and his wives that this place had been abandoned for tens of thousands of years.
“It’s hard to believe that cultivators would leave everything behind… just what in the world happened that forced every cultivator to abandon this world?” Yuan muttered in a low voice as he looked at the neatly arranged weapons.
“All these weapons are Earth Grade weapons… each one is nearly perfect,” Fang Xiaoyan said as she picked up a sword and swung it casually.
“There are about fifty of them on this floor alone, and this building has five floors,” Julie added.
“Should we take all the weapons we can find?” Leah asked Yuan.
Yuan nodded with a smile and said, “Definitely. We can sell them once we travel to the Nine Heavens. These treasures will be extremely useful there, especially since we will need money.”
“Let’s hurry and collect all the weapons here, then move on to the other floors of this building,” Yuan said to his wives before he began storing the weapons inside his system storage.
His wives also started storing the weapons inside their spatial rings, and within just a few minutes, they had emptied the entire room.
After that, they headed to the next floor, which was filled with Spirit Grade weapons, and all of them were of exceptionally high quality.
Without wasting any time, they began storing the weapons inside their spatial rings one by one. On this floor alone, they found nearly forty weapons.
On the third floor, all the weapons were top-quality Heaven Grade weapons, with almost forty-five weapons displayed throughout the floor.
These weapons would sell for an enormous sum of money if they decided to sell them once they reached the Nine Heavens.
Once they finished collecting everything, they headed to the next floor, which contained both Divine Grade and Ancient Grade weapons. There were around seventy such weapons in total.
All of the weapons were top-quality treasures, each emitting a powerful and oppressive aura.
Yuan had never seen so many powerful weapons before, but he managed to suppress his excitement and focused on collecting every treasure he could find.
After gathering everything on this floor, they moved on to the final level of the building—the fifth floor.
Upon arriving at the fifth floor, Yuan and his wives could immediately feel the overwhelming aura radiating from the weapons stored there.
All the weapons were above Ancient Grade treasures, and even Xi Meili couldn’t recall the exact grades of these weapons.
However, one thing was certain—these weapons were incredibly rare and immensely powerful.
Without any hesitation, Yuan and his wives collected all the weapons they could find on the floor, completely emptying the entire building and leaving not a single weapon behind.
After leaving the building, Yuan opened the map once again and decided to head toward the Medicine Pavilion, which was the closest location.
Yuan hoped to find valuable medicinal herbs and pills that could aid their cultivation. Some medicines had unique effects, such as improving talent and increasing lifespan.
Some enhanced strength, while others possessed miraculous effects on the body that no other medicine could replicate.
