My Cuckhold System - Chapter 141: A Brush?

Chapter 141: A Brush?
The female knight’s saber cut through the air terrifyingly as she stepped forward with her long yellow hair flowing behind her. Her extra pair of eyes beneath the first shimmered faintly as they tracked West’s movements with inhuman focus.
West swung his massive greatsword upward to block.
CLANG!
The impact rattled his arms while Aurethia didn’t even look strained.
She pivoted gracefully as her saber flashed out again.
West barely managed to step back in time.
“Too slow,” Aurethia said calmly.
West gritted his teeth.
Even with his strength, he couldn’t land a single hit on her.
She was simply too skilled.
Across the yard, another intense fight was happening.
Jax slammed his palm forward.
“Glacial Surge!”
A wave of icy energy exploded from his hand.
Gor’thala roared and charged straight through it.
The massive summon’s body was instantly coated in frost, but it didn’t slow her down much. His enormous fist crashed toward Jax like a falling boulder.
Jax leaped sideways just in time.
Ice spikes burst from the ground as he landed.
“You’re getting faster,” Gor’thala growled approvingly while Jax put one palm above the other begging for a time out as he wanted like an exhausted ape.
Meanwhile, sitting on a broken metal crate nearby…
Seraphyra lazily licked an ice cream cone.
She swung her legs casually as she watched the chaos unfold.
West had bought the ice cream for her earlier that morning.
His way of rewarding her for her performance during the battle in the Eternal Ruins.
“So delicious,” she murmured softly while taking another lick.
Just then, footsteps echoed from the entrance of the industrial yard.
Nina walked inside and paused almost immediately.
Her eyes widened at the scene in front of her.
Gor’thala, the massive green being, was sparring with Jax while ice explosions filled the air.
Seraphyra casually ate ice cream nearby.
And in the center of it all—
West was currently getting overwhelmed by a beautiful armored knight swinging a saber with frightening speed.
Nina blinked.
“…What the hell.”
At that moment, Aurethia’s blade stopped inches from West’s throat.
He raised both hands.
“Okay okay. Break.”
Aurethia stepped back smoothly while West turned toward Nina upon noticing her arrival.
“Hey.”
Nina walked closer, still staring at everything.
“So… this is where you train?”
“Pretty much.”
Jax jogged over, wiping sweat from his forehead.
Then he noticed Nina.
“Oh.”
His eyes moved to West.
“…Wait.”
He pointed between them.
“She knows?”
West nodded casually.
“Yeah.”
Then he added calmly,
“She doesn’t just know.”
Nina tilted her head slightly as West reached into the air and a faint shimmer appeared.
From his inventory, he pulled out a glowing rectangular object.
Jax’s eyes widened.
“Wait…”
West held up a Three Branch Bloodline Awakening Voucher.
“…She’ll also be the third member of our gang.”
Jax blinked.
“You’re serious?”
“Yep.”
Nina stared at the glowing object.
“…That’s what turns people into awakened?”
West nodded.
“Exactly.”
Her heartbeat quickened slightly.
Even though he had already told her the day before yesterday… seeing it in person made everything feel more real.
West walked closer and handed it to her.
“Alright. Listen carefully.”
Nina held the voucher nervously.
“What do I do?”
“Place it on your lower abdomen.”
“And then?”
“Go home.”
She blinked.
“That’s it?”
“Pretty much.”
West shrugged.
“The process takes about 24 hours.”
Nina looked down at the glowing voucher again.
This was it… the moment her life would change forever.
She inhaled slowly while lifting her round neck shirt up slightly, revealing her smooth flat underbelly…
She then proceeded to placed the voucher against her lower abdomen.
The object dissolved instantly into particles of light and sank into her body.
Nina gasped slightly.
“I felt that.”
West nodded.
“Good.”
“Now go home and rest.”
Nina looked between him, Jax, and the terrifying summons nearby.
“…So I’m really doing this.”
West grinned.
“You’re part of the team now.”
A smile slowly spread across Nina’s face as excitement bubbled in her chest.
Without another word, she waved and hurried out of the industrial site.
Her awakening had begun.
—
Twenty-four hours later, Nina opened her eyes.
Morning sunlight streamed through her bedroom window and for a moment she simply lay there…
But something felt… different.
Her body felt lighter and fuller in a way like every cell inside her had been upgraded.
“…Whoa.”
She slowly sat up and even her senses felt clearer.
It was like she had stepped into a higher state of existence.
Nina closed her eyes.
West had explained how awakened abilities worked.
Everyone had branches and within those branches… were abilities.
She reached inward, focusing and mentally searching.
Then she felt the thick cords branching deep inside her… she planted her focus on one, activatinv it.
A faint glow appeared in her hand and something formed slowly from the light.
When the glow faded… Nina blinked in confusion.
“…A brush?”
She held it up, observing its features. It looked like a traditional calligraphy brush with strange glowing patterns running along the handle.
“I already have art brushes… What am I supposed to do with this?”
She tilted her head completely confused before letting out a sigh.
“I’ll just ask West.”
—
Since today was Tuesday, school resumed for class three as usual.
The hallways buzzed with nervous energy as students returned after the disastrous trip.
But Nina barely paid attention to any of it.
The moment lunch break arrived, she grabbed West by the sleeve.
“Come with me.”
He raised an eyebrow.
“Where?”
“Just come.”
She dragged him toward a quiet part of the school grounds behind the gymnasium.
No one else was around.
“Okay,” West said.
“What’s going on?”
Nina inhaled and then activated her first branch.
The glowing brush appeared in her hand.
West stared at it.
“…Interesting.”
“You know what this is?” Nina asked.
“Not yet.”
He crossed his arms.
“Try using it.”
“How?”
West shrugged.
“Draw something.”
Nina frowned.
“I don’t have paint on me.”
At that exact moment, the brush moved on its own and began drawing in midair.
Lines of glowing paint formed and within seconds, the brush finished its drawing… revealing the drawing of a metal bucket…
Reality distorted and suddenly the drawing solidified.
A real metal bucket appeared in midair before dropping.
SPLASH!
