My Cuckhold System - Chapter 161: Summon Siphoning Device

Chapter 161: Summon Siphoning Device
One of the attackers roared and unleashed their bloodline ability causing a blast of sonic waves to explode outward.
The invisible force slammed into West’s chest.
BOOM
His body shot backward through the air and crashed into a pile of broken concrete and several gang members smirked.
“Got him.”
But the dust hadn’t even settled before West stood up, almost completely unfazed.
“…Seriously?” one of them muttered.
West cracked his neck slightly.
“You’ll have to do better than that.”
Then he launched forward again like a missile.
The sonic-bloodline user barely had time to react before West’s fist slammed into his face.
CRACK
The man’s head snapped sideways violently as his body spun through the air while every tooth in his mouth flew out like scattered bullets.
He landed twenty feet away and didn’t get back up.
But West attack had created an opening… The remaining two awakeners rushed at him simultaneously.
One possessed another bloodline enhancement, boosting his physical strength to monstrous levels.
The other had who had purplish glowing claws swiped out…
They struck at the same time.
THUD
The bloodline user’s punch smashed into West’s ribs…
SLASH
While the transformed claws raked across his shoulder, drawing a line of blood.
West staggered slightly as he stared at the faint traces of purple in his torn flesh but before he could retaliate.
Boom!
His shoulder exploded, sending him flying again and crashing into the ground, rolling across it for a couple of feet.
Apparently, the traces of purple were explosives. Any direct contact would lead to an explosion moments later.
For the first time in the fight, he had been dealt proper damage.
Meanwhile, Ross was still kneeling on the ground, breathing heavily as two gang members helped him stand.
Blood dripped down his arm despite the crude bandage they were attempting.
One of them looked toward the battlefield.
“You said he was only a little stronger than regular Tier 1 awakeners because of multiple branches.”
His voice trembled slightly.
“You didn’t say he was this monstrous.”
Ross clenched his teeth and without answering turned to stare in West’s direction.
What he saw made his stomach drop…
West had jumped back into the fight with injuries and happened to just ducked beneath another attack from the purple glowing claw.
His body suddenly blurred as he activated an Acceleration skill.
[ Radiant Acceleration Activated ]
The sudden burst of speed allowed him to evade three incoming strikes simultaneously as he turned into a streak.
At the same moment, his hand sparked with electricity.
CRACK
A blast of lightning exploded from his palm, launching one attacker across the auditorium and slamming into a wall.
West pivoted sharply in the next instant as grabbed the head of the final attacker and his knee shot upward.
THUD
The jaw of this gang member shattered as he was launched backward.
Ross’s eyes widened.
“…No.”
“…No…”
His voice trembled.
“He’s stronger than the last time I saw him…”
“Way stronger…”
He stared in disbelief.
“This shouldn’t be possible…”
For a moment, Ross looked like he might completely lose composure.
Then the gang member beside him grabbed his shoulder.
“Ross.”
Ross blinked.
“What?”
The man leaned closer.
“…The tool.”
Ross froze as his eyes widened in realization.
“Yes…”
“Yes!”
He turned toward the man urgently.
“Use it.”
“Now.”
The gang member nodded, reached into his jacket and pulled out a small metallic device.
It looked harmless, almost like a compact grenade.
West had just knocked down the last of the four attackers when the device was thrown.
West frowned as it rolled across the ground towards him.
“…What?”
TOOM~
A strange, low-frequency sound swept outward as the device activated.
It wasn’t loud, but the moment it spread across the surroundings, West felt something wrong.
A strange pressure formed inside his chest as his branches suddenly felt muted.
Behind him, Gor’thala’s body dissolved into particles of light… and a moment later, Seraphyra vanished as well.
Outside the auditorium and school itself… even Aurethia Sol’Vael disappeared instantly.
West’s eyes narrowed.
“…What?”
His connection to them had been cut off.
Ross slowly stood upright, clutching his injured arm as a cruel smile spread across his face.
“The Summon Siphoning Device.”
He laughed bitterly.
“It drains the energy that sustains summoned entities.”
West looked down at his hands, unable to sense his summoning branches within him.
Ross grinned wider.
“Well?”
He gestured toward the battlefield.
“Let’s see how you fight now…”
“…without your summons.”
His voice carried a mixture of triumph and desperation, believing he had finally turned the tables.
But as the echo of his laughter faded, Ross slowly turned his head to observe the battlefield.
And the smile on his face began to disappear…
Bodies… were everywhere.
Black Furnace gang members lay scattered across the broken auditorium floor like discarded rag dolls.
Some were groaning in pain, some were barely conscious and a few were already dead.
Ross’s eyes widened and his breathing slowed.
“What…?”
The two beside him were the only ones left standing asides the other one in the middle of the battlefield already getting dealt with.
Jax stood a few meters away with one hand extended forward.
Ice had crawled up the man’s legs, freezing him solid from the waist down.
The gang member struggled desperately, but the frost refused to break.
Beside Jax, Nina raised her paintbrush, brushing furiously in mid air…
A shield materialized in front of her, glowing with magical energy… she grabbed the shield with both hands and charged forward.
“Move!”
CRASH
The shield slammed directly into the frozen man’s face and the impact shattered the ice holding him in place.
The gang member flew backward violently, slamming into the ground and skidding across it before finally coming to a stop.
Silence reigned as Ross stared in disbelief.
His brain struggled to process what he was seeing.
“They… they’re…”
His voice cracked.
“…They’re beat.”
Almost all the fighters he had brought here with him had been taken down.
They were all experienced Tier 1 awakeners who had spent years cultivating their branches and yet they had been defeated by people who were newly awakened.
