My Cuckhold System - Chapter 162: They Weren’t Destroyed

Chapter 162: They Weren’t Destroyed
Ross’s stomach twisted while the two gang members moved nervously beside him.
They were the only two still standing with him.
Which meant it was now three against three.
Ross and the two standing Black Furnace members.
Against…
West, Jax and Nina.
On paper, it looked balanced but after what Ross had just witnessed… there was no balance.
Ross felt a tightness creeping into his chest.
’Am I… scared?’
These people weren’t normal awakeners… they were monsters.
Before Ross could gather his thoughts, a shadow suddenly appeared in front of him.
Ross froze as he spotted West standing only a few feet away with an entirely different presence now.
His entire body radiated malice, pain, anger and a suffocating killing intent that made the air feel heavier.
Ross instinctively stepped back while West spoke in an ice cold tone.
“Where did you send them?”
Ross didn’t even have time to answer because the next moment, West’s fist descended…
BOOM!
Ross felt like the world exploded as the punch connected with his chest so violently that the shockwave alone cracked the ground beneath them.
Fwwwhiiiiii~
Ross’s body flew through the air like a broken missile and smashed straight through a concrete wall behind the auditorium.
Dust and debris exploded outward but West didn’t slow down for even a second.
He shot forward immediately, chasing Ross through the broken wall.
Inside the ruined hallway beyond, West grabbed Ross by the head and slammed him down.
BANG
Ross’s skull hit the floor but before he knew it, he was getting smashed through a wall… and then another wall right after…
West dragged him through the hallway like a rag doll, smashing him against every solid surface he could find.
Punch.
Kick.
Punch.
Kick.
The sound of bone meeting concrete echoed violently.
Ross tried to fight back but he couldn’t even free himself, neither could he focus well enough to channel his branch..
West’s attacks were relentless, brutal and unstoppable.
Blood sprayed across the floor and walls as Ross’s face quickly became unrecognizable.
His lips split, his nose shattered and one eye swelled shut instantly.
West’s voice echoed with fury between each strike.
“Gor’thala…”
BANG
“Seraphyra…”
BOOM
“Aurethia…”
His fist slammed down again.
“Where did you send them?”
Ross wheezed as blood poured from his mouth.
West grabbed him by the collar and slammed him into a pillar.
CRACK!
“Where?”
Another punch land…
“WHERE?”
Ross’s body barely responded anymore.
His face was swollen beyond recognition and blood dripped from his ears.
He let out heavy breaths as his vision turned white…
In the auditorium, the two remaining Black Furnace members stared at the destruction happening through the broken wall with pale faces.
“…We can’t fight that.”
One of them whispered while the other nodded quickly.
Without another word both of them fled the scene immediately without even looking back.
Meanwhile inside the hallway, West raised his fist again while Ross’s head hung limply in his grip.
West was about to bring the next blow down when a firm hand caught his wrist.
A familiar voice accompanied it.
“Enough.”
West turned his head and standing beside him was Zu Li.
Her expression remained composed as always.
“Unless,” she continued calmly, “you intend to take his life.”
West stared at Ross’s broken body for a moment before staring back at her.
“He should tell me where he sent my summons.”
His voice still carried dangerous anger. He didn’t care if he took Ross life right here right now, he just wanted his summons.
Zu Li sighed slightly.
“They weren’t sent anywhere.”
West frowned while she gestured toward the destroyed auditorium.
“That device they used is a summon siphoning tool.”
“It temporarily drains the energy sustaining your summons causing them to return to the summon space which will also be unaccessible for a period of time.”
West’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“They’ll come back?”
“Yes.”
She nodded.
“Once your branch energy stabilizes again.”
“They weren’t destroyed.”
“They were simply forced back.”
West’s anger eased slightly and the tension in his shoulders loosened.
After a few seconds, he let go of Ross.
The man collapsed onto the floor like a broken puppet.
West didn’t care that he not only stole Ross’s woman and humiliate him, he also beat him half to death… this was a day people would be talking about for a very long time.
West suddenly noticed people standing behind Zu Li.
Upon closer look, he realized that there were over a dozen awakeners all wearing the emblem of the Dragon Fang Gang.
Zu Li had arrived with reinforcements.
Apparently, she had come after hearing about the attack through the news broadcasts and seeing West school get taken over by a gang…
But when they arrived at the battlefield, she was stunned.
The entire auditorium was devastated and up to twenty experienced awakeners had been wiped out by three newly awakened individuals.
Her gaze slowly returned to West.
’This kid…’
She felt like she was looking at something dangerous… something that was growing at an alarmingly fast and powerful rate…
Something that could shake the balance of the awakened world in the future.
Zu Li turned toward the surviving Black Furnace members who were still crawling or barely conscious on the ground.
Her voice spread across the ruined auditorium like a blade.
“Listen carefully.”
Every injured gang member froze.
“West Einstein is under the protection of the Dragon Fang Gang.”
Her eyes hardened.
“If anyone from Black Furnace…”
“…or any other gang…”
“…tries to harm him again…”
Her voice dropped slightly.
“…they will be harming me.”
“And the Dragon Fang Gang does not take that lightly.”
The warning was crystal clear.
This was a message not only to the survivors here… but to the entire underworld.
And anyone smart enough to understand what just happened today would think very carefully before making West their enemy again.
“You didn’t have to do that. I don’t want to owe you any more favours,” West muttered while pulling off his ruined suit and shirt to reveal a wonderfully sculpted lean muscled body.
Despite the injuries on his shoulders and chest, West still looked devastatingly attractive and Miss Zu Li couldn’t help but look the other way.
“Put on a shirt or something…”
“I would but its destroyed. Anyways, don’t come to my rescue any more in the future. Now I have two favours to repay,” West voiced while turning away.
“No, just one. Just need you to show up next week based on our agreement… and your bleeding, should I…”
“No I’ll take it care of it. See you next week,” West responded while heading in the direction of Nina and Jax to check on them.
The graduation ended with a bang… but not the type that came with excitement…
