My Cuckhold System - Chapter 169: You Cleared This?

Chapter 169: You Cleared This?
The creature’s body trembled once before completely going still.
Its massive form crashed fully against the ground and the chamber fell quiet.
West landed lightly as the purple mist faded and the glow around him dimmed.
He let out a lengthy exhaled as rushed footsteps echoed through the vicinity.
Tara, Derek and Mei burst into the chamber thinking West was in trouble due to the loud blasts they heard earlier.
They came in ready to help save him but what they saw, stopped them in their tracks.
A massive corpse with its head split in half and blood pooling across the ground.
And a figure standing before it calmly, holding a blade without so much as a scratch on his body.
Their minds went blank.
“…What the hell?” Derek whispered.
Tara’s eyes were widened as she locked onto the creature before sweeping towards West.
“…How?”
Tara, Derek, and Mei stood frozen with their eyes locked on the massive corpse that had just been split cleanly in two.
Tara stepped forward slowly, still staring at West.
“You’re a summoner…”
Her brows furrowed.
“So how did you—”
West didn’t reply. He simply rested the massive Guardian Sword against his shoulder with a calm and almost indifferent expression.
Mei, who had remained silent till now, spoke softly.
“…That wasn’t normal.”
“No summoner fights like that.”
Before anyone could push further—
RUMBLE—!
The ground shook violently.
“…What was that?” Mei questioned with a tense look as the rumbling intensified.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
The triangular holes lining the walls began to glow faintly as a low, eerie chittering sound echoed from within them.
West’s eyes narrowed slightly.
And in the next second, the triangular holes erupted as creatures poured out in waves.
They flooded out in dozens at first before growing higher in number, turning into an overwhelming swarm.
They looked like smaller versions of the boss creature West had just killed.
They were still grotesque with gorilla like upperbodies and arachnid like lower body but smaller.
They were roughly the size of large wolves and some were even bigger.
Only that now, the cavern was filled with hundreds of them.
Their screeches overlapped into a chaotic, deafening noise as they charged.
“…You’ve got to be kidding me,” Derek whispered.
Tara immediately stepped back.
“We need to move!”
“Fall back!” West said calmly and this time, no one questioned him.
They retreated quickly, pulling back from the center of the cavern toward the narrower entrance corridor.
The swarm shot forward relentlessly and the first wave lunged at them.
Derek activated his transformation ability instantly and his body bulked up as he stepped forward to intercept.
Tara’s blade-like arms extended as she slashed at incoming creatures.
Mei darted to the side, pick off targets one by one as she swung spinning glowing blades forward.
But it was too much…. even for all three of them combined.
“They just keep coming!” Tara shouted.
“West—!”
She turned just in time to see him West stretch his hand forward.
“Come out.”
A wave of energy rippled outward as the nd the air distorted while three figures appeared.
One had a serpentine like lower body that coiled elegantly with a strikingly beautiful humanoid upper body.
Her eyes glowed with green and gold as venomous energy gathered around her.
While the second was a ten-foot-tall orc warrior-mage, gripping her staff as raw power radiated from her presence.
The third was a knight with a golden saber at their side and their Armor exuding a faint glint.
The moment they appeared, the atmosphere changed.
Derek’s jaw dropped.
“…No way.”
Tara’s eyes widened.
“…Three?”
Mei whispered.
“He has… three summons?”
Which meant… he had three branches.
Their minds struggled to process it but there was no time.
The creatures were already upon them and West’s summons moved.
Gor’thala slammed her staff into the ground.
BOOM!
Vines erupted outward, entangling dozens of creatures at once while Seraphyra inhaled slightly before exhaling.
A thick, poisonous mist spread across the battlefield, corroding anything that entered it.
Creatures screamed as their bodies began to deteriorate.
Aurethia suddenly vanished… she was so fast that no one saw her move.
In the next instant, over twenty golden lines flashed across the air.
Dozens of creatures froze before collapsing into pieces, cleanly cut.
West stepped forward as well and swung the heavy Guardian Sword like it weighed nothing.
Each strike obliterated multiple enemies at once as the battlefield turned chaotic.
Derek, Tara, and Mei found themselves with almost nothing to do.
Every time they engaged a creature, one of West’s summons had already dealt with three more.
“What… is this…” Derek muttered under his breath.
Tara watched as Aurethia moved through the battlefield like a phantom.
“…That knight…”
“He’s insane…”
They didn’t even know that Aurethia was female.
Mei looked toward West and noticed that he wasn’t just commanding them, he was fighting alongside them perfectly synchronized like they were extensions of him.
As the minutes passed, the swarm began to thin.
Wave after wave fell, until finally, the last creature let out a shriek and collapsed.
Silence returned and the cavern floor was covered in hundreds of corpses.
Tara exhaled heavily.
“…We didn’t do anything.”
Derek let out a dry laugh.
“No… we didn’t.”
Mei looked at West.
“…You’re a monster.”
Without responding, West simply dismissed his summons.
They vanished back into the summons personal space as if they had never been there.
A few minutes later, footsteps echoed from the corridor.
Marcus and the others rushed in, clearly prepared for the worst.
However, what they found, stopped them in their tracks.
“…What happened here?” Lina whispered while staring at the signs of battle and bodies that littered the surroundings.
Kyle frowned.
“Are they… alive?”
Marcus side of the group had cleared the other section and in the process they realised that West’s group must have been on the part of the core section.
So after they cleared theirs, they rushed up as fast as they could to get here.
Heading further ahead, they spotted Tara, Derek, and Mei gathered around West… very much alive and unharmed.
Marcus let out a sigh of relief before approaching with a look of curiosity.
“…You cleared this?” he questioned.
