My Cuckhold System - Chapter 176: Branch Status Updated

Chapter 176: Branch Status Updated
West’s body stiffened slightly.
“…Whoa—”
It wasn’t painful but it was intense, infiltrating his core swiftly.
The energy spread rapidly through him, reaching his branches.
Inside him, he could feel the three branches responding…
Light began to spread, starting from the base and slowly rising upward.
—
[ BRANCH CULTIVATION IN PROGRESS ]
—
West’s breathing slowed as he focused inward, feeling the glow climb steadily.
From the bottom, to a quarter and then higher…
The sensation intensified, making his body feel lighter and more responsive.
The energy continued pushing upward until it stopped just below the center.
—
[ BRANCH STATUS UPDATED ]
Progress: Mid-Level Advancement Achieved
—
The glow stabilized as the energy slowly faded.
West opened his eyes and noticed that the stone in his hand had turned completely white.
“…Used up already.”
He rolled it between his fingers and could tell that there was no more energy within.
Right now, it was just a shell.
“…Worth it.”
West exhaled slowly because the difference was obvious.
He could feel that his branches had gotten more powerful but it didn’t affect only him…
A faint ripple passed through the room as three presences stirred… Gor’thala, Seraphyra and Aurethia.
West didn’t summon them but he could feel their internal state due to their connection to him.
“…So it affects them too.”
West smirked slightly upon realizing they had gotten stronger due to this increment.
“That’s a bonus.”
He stretched his arms slightly, feeling the boost in strength to his body.
“…Not bad at all.”
He glanced at the system interface.
—
[ AFFINITY: 0% ]
—
“…Back to grinding.”
He shrugged.
“Fine by me.”
His expression turned sour when he took a glance at the clock.
“…Shit.”
Over three hours had passed since he got the Affinity Stone. West moved immediately, heading for the bathroom.
Cold water ran down his body, washing away the lingering heat from the absorption.
By the time he stepped out, he felt even more refreshed. Without wasting time, he put on dark jeans, light jacket and a few accessories, like the dark earrings…
In no time, he was on his way to the Divine Forge…
—
By the time West arrived, it was already around 2 PM.
The building was the same as before… tall, futuristic looking with a well structured interior, filled with all sorts of awakened items.
West walked in casually, heading towards the workshop section.
The moment he stepped in, a familiar voice rang out.
“Oi!”
West looked up and there he was… Orion Voss.
His hair was messy but his eyes were full of excitement and his gloved hands were stained.
“Look who finally showed up!”
West smirked slightly.
“Didn’t think I’d miss this.”
Orion walked over quickly, wiping his hands on a cloth.
“You didn’t have to come all the way here, you know? I would have wired your percentage to the same account as last time…”
West shrugged.
“I wanted to.”
Then he added;
“…Also wanted to check something.”
Orion grinned.
“Good timing then.”
He turned and gestured toward a nearby table.
“It sold.”
West raised a brow.
“…Already?”
“Yep!”
Orion looked almost proud.
“Second weapon. Gone.”
West nodded slowly.
“…Price?”
“Same range,” Orion said casually. “Around four-fifty.”
West let out a quiet breath.
“…Nice.”
Orion leaned closer slightly.
“Transaction’s already being processed.”
“Your share’s coming through.”
West nodded.
“Good.”
West suddenly reached into his inventory while Orion’s eyes immediately sharpened as one item after the other appeared.
“…Wait—”
Soon a small pile had formed on the table
There were metallic shards and energy-infused materials… all necessary items for crafting.
Orion froze.
“…You serious right now?”
West glanced at him.
“I want more weapons.”
Orion blinked.
“…More?”
West nodded.
“Yeah.”
Then added—
“I’m thinking ahead.”
Orion crossed his arms, studying him.
“…Explain.”
West leaned slightly against the table.
“My gang will be official soon.”
“And when that happens…”
“…People will join.”
Orion’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“…And you want to arm them.”
“Exactly.”
Not just basic gear but real awakened weapons with boons that gave an edge.
West tapped one of the materials lightly.
“I don’t want dead weight.”
Orion’s grin slowly spread.
“…I like that.”
He picked up one of the fragments, inspecting it.
“You’ve got good stuff here.”
West smirked.
“I know.”
Orion looked up.
“So what are we making?”
West didn’t hesitate.
“Variety.”
“Different types.”
“Different styles.”
“Something for everyone.”
West wanted blades, spears, light armor and even specialized tools. He wasn’t thinking small…
Orion chuckled.
“…You’re building something serious.”
West’s expression remained calm.
“I don’t do things halfway.”
A brief silence passed between them before Orion extended a hand.
“Alright then.”
“Let’s build your army.”
West shook it firmly and just like that, the foundation of Shadow Reapers’ future arsenal… had begun.
…
…
The late afternoon sun cast a warm glow across the city as West stepped out of Divine Forge, leaving the grinding of machinery and faint scent of heated metal behind him.
His business with Orion Voss had gone smoothly and with more weapons in production and money steadily flowing in, things were beginning to align perfectly for what he had planned.
But there was one more stop to make before heading back home. West approached a standard supermarket by up ahead and smiled before stepping in.
…
…
About thirty minutes later, West glanced at the small shopping bag in his hand.
Inside were a few carefully chosen items which seemed simple and thoughtful enough …
However, there was one particular addition… a flower.
He smirked faintly.
“…This should be interesting.”
—
After another thirty minutes, he arrived at a quiet residential area which was well kept and clean. Apparently, this was different from the section that the Mafia owned.
West stepped out of the car and walked up the path toward a small bungalow house.
Before he could knock, the door opened, revealing an enthralling feminine figure… the realtor.
And just like the first time he met her, she looked breathtaking with long dark hair cascading over her shoulders and a few strands falling gently across her face.
Her corporate attire had been replaced with something more casual today, but it only made her look softer… and more approachable.
