My Longevity Simulation - Chapter 905

Li Fan gazed at the series of light screens arranged by the Dao Deviation Stone.
“These recorded scenes can be roughly divided into two categories,” he murmured.
“Some are from cultivators who have fallen here over the years. Those hold little value.”
“As for the rest…”
A flicker of excitement flashed across Li Fan’s eyes.
“As I suspected—they all come from the same person.”
“One of the Twelve Dharma Kings of the Xuantian Sect… Ji Yuzhen!”
Li Fan extended his divine sense, touching one of the light screens.
In an instant, countless scenes poured into his mind as if he were experiencing them firsthand.
A gentle female voice came from the lips. Ji Yuzhen, staring at the figure who suddenly appeared before her, was visibly shaken.“Brother Xuanyuan? Didn’t you already ascend?”
“Heh, it seems you’re still the same—always in seclusion, never caring for worldly affairs. I’ve been back for some time now.”
The man before her had a firm and resolute face, his eyes shining like the stars of the heavens. His tone was warm, soothing to the heart.
“This Xuanyuan fellow… he must be none other than the Xuantian King. Though his looks aren’t as breathtaking as Mr. Bai’s, he is still strikingly handsome by any standard.” Li Fan thought to himself.
The Xuantian King let out a sigh, then spoke with grave sincerity:
“Zhen’er, there is something I wish to accomplish. It may put me against the entire world. Will you walk with me?”
Ji Yuzhen froze for a moment, but without the slightest hesitation she rose to her feet.
Spiritual power surged around her, rippling the white clouds crowning the mountain peaks.
“Very well!”
The Xuantian King was taken aback. “You’re not going to ask what it is?”
Ji Yuzhen held his gaze for a long moment, then smiled faintly and shook her head.
The Xuantian King averted his eyes, lowering his head with a touch of guilt. Then, breaking through the sea of clouds, he descended toward the mountain below.
Ji Yuzhen followed closely, her gaze fixed upon his departing figure, reluctant to turn away.
Li Fan withdrew from the vision, brows furrowed.
He continued to examine the second complete scene.
Inside a dim underground chamber.
The Xuantian King was recounting his experiences after ascension, along with his observations of the shifting of the Xuanhuang Realm.
Twelve figures stood scattered throughout the chamber.
Their expressions and faces alike were hidden within shadow, impossible to discern.
“This concerns the safety of countless lives in the Xuanhuang Realm. We cannot stand idly by. Xuanyuan Hong, do as you must—this old man will risk his very life to aid you.”
An aged voice rang out first.
Xuanyuan Hong bowed deeply toward the elder, his expression solemn. “Elder Cui, your righteousness is boundless!”
Several others echoed their agreement.
But a few remained impassive, unmoved.
Ji Yuzhen’s eyes, however, never once strayed from Xuanyuan Hong.
In the cramped chamber.
“Zhen’er, from the celestial records I’ve perused, I’ve chosen a cultivation art most suited to you.”
“Immeasurable Celestial Pivot Sundering Divine Technique.”
Xuanyuan Hong’s expression brimmed with excitement. “This method is wondrous beyond compare—the unification of body and soul, extending into the boundless and measureless!”
He spoke passionately, expounding upon the mysteries of the art.
Ji Yuzhen only smiled softly, listening in silence.
Upon a battlefield reeking of blood.
Ji Yuzhen’s body dissolved into myriad wandering soul-shards. Each fragment of divine soul turned into a wisp of ghostly light, claiming the life of an enemy cultivator.
As she reaped lives one after another, her gaze unconsciously drifted across the battlefield toward Xuanyuan Hong.
There he stood, besieged by several Longevity Immortal Realm cultivators, yet his expression remained unshaken.
Above his head, an ancient, simple mirror emitted a deep, shimmering light, sealing the surrounding enemies within.
Xuanyuan Hong’s brows arched sharply. He uttered a soft command:
“The Law Shall Not Be Violated!!”
A radiant brilliance swept across his body in a flash.
Afterward, the attacks launched by the five Longevity Immortals against Xuanyuan Hong all struck empty, as if vanishing into thin air, without the slightest effect.
“Strength of the Great Body!” Xuanyuan Hong declared once more.
He casually stretched out his hand, seizing the colossal seal that had silently torn open space above his head and descended, covering nearly half the sky.
“Eyes Like Torches!”
A golden beam of light shot forth from Xuanyuan Hong’s eyes.
Wherever his gaze swept across the five Longevity Immortals besieging him, a golden chain inexplicably appeared on their bodies, binding them firmly in place.
In an instant, the tide of battle turned!
“Execute the Will of Heaven!” Xuanyuan Hong’s voice grew cold and grim, his body emanating an awe-inspiring heavenly might.
He fixed his gaze on the five Longevity Immortals, their faces twisted in ferocity. In a flicker, he appeared above their heads.
Lifting his left foot, he stomped down fiercely.
Invisible ripples spread over the five Immortals.
Their expressions shifted from unwillingness, to panic, and finally to sheer terror.
Xuanyuan Hong showed not the slightest mercy.
In the blink of an eye, the bodies of the five Longevity Immortals melted away like ice in the sun, vanishing into the air.
Only illusory shadows of five fruits remained, radiating a strange brilliance.
With a wave of his hand, Xuanyuan Hong sent the five fruits soaring off as streaks of divine light, piercing through the skies.
The battle ended completely with the fall of the five Longevity Immortal realm cultivators.
…
A space resembling the endless starry heavens.
“Brother Xuanyuan, this is the Floating Starry Sky Formation?”
Ji Yuzhen gazed at the scene before her and let out a soft laugh. “It’s so ugly!”
Xuanyuan Hong’s expression was calm. “As long as it serves its purpose, that is enough.”
Before the two of them, countless golden chains tightly wrapped around and bound the Xuanhuang Realm, forming what looked like a golden flattened sphere floating in the void.
The chains were not completely still. They seemed to circle around some hidden core within, ceaselessly in motion.
Upon the golden chains were inscribed innumerable complex talismans.
“Now, let us begin the first attempt at capture.”
For the first time, Xuanyuan Hong’s voice carried a trace of tension.
As his words fell, hundreds of stars in the void ahead suddenly flared with light.
Xuanyuan Hong observed quietly for a moment, then locked onto one of them.
“Go!”
With a light flick of his finger, a golden chain shot out from the flattened sphere, flying straight toward the target star.
It entered the void in complete silence, without the slightest response, as if lost within endless nothingness.
Xuanyuan Hong maintained his focus, watching intently.
Several days later, he finally shook his head with some regret. “The navigational Dao-landmarkers and the actual position have once again shifted.”
“This attempt at capture has failed.”
With that, he pointed gently, and the golden chain stretching into the void began to retract.
“Shifted? Is it due to that unknown suction force?” Ji Yuzhen asked softly.
“Indeed. And not only our cultivation world—before long, the entire fabric of time and space itself will inevitably be affected.”
Xuanyuan Hong sighed. “We must hasten our progress.”
“Brother Xuanyuan, allow me to treat your injuries.”
Within the secluded chamber, Ji Yuzhen separated a strand of her divine soul and sent it drifting toward Xuanyuan Hong.
“Though it cannot compare to True Immortal Spirit Qi, my Immeasurable Celestial Pivot Sundering Divine Technique has just reached minor completion. If you consume my soul essence, your wounds should recover swiftly.”
