“So… have we just been overreacting or are we correct in our assumptions?”

The worried tone coming from Jahi made me sigh whilst ignoring the cold brush of metal against my bare stomach, the two Demoness’ that were kneeling in front of me making use of some magical tools that somehow discovered pregnancy…

They weren’t exactly stethoscopes but they seemingly functioned in a similar way, just instead of helping to detect sound they instead picked up on mana frequencies or something like that, which was how they would discover if there was another mana signature inside of me which could only come from the formation of new life.

“Well… The short of it is that yes, both Lady Katherine and Lady Anput are pregnant, with Lady Katherine being a little further along than Lady Anput hence all of the signs she has been showing that Lady Anput has not.

The happenings of this morning might be related to the bond shared by the two thanks to their race as well as the emotional bond that has formed after all this time, which does sometimes affect these sorts of things.”

Kavya was the one to explain that whilst the other Demoness – a yellow skinned Cimeriesa with a gentle, motherly look to her – added “There is a lot that is unknown about that sort of bond due to it being impossible to ’create’ on purpose, and trying to find those with it is rather rare.”, her eyes shining with that strong curiosity that all of her Clan seemed to have.

“As for the other sorts of details you would want to know as of now, well… the only thing we can reasonably tell you that isn’t extremely murky or pure guesswork is that you, Lady Anput, have a stronger bundle of Fire Mana within yourself now compared to before, however even that isn’t a guarantee of anything at all.

In a few weeks time we should start noticing the first signs of… well, anything at all that might inform us of who the other parent of these babies might be, but until then I would just recommend enjoying the blessing of life and planning for their eventual arrival.”

I nodded and pulled my shirt back down while glancing at my mate, wondering why they could sense something like that in her whilst not saying anything about me; Kavya gave my knee a pat as she added “Pregnancy is different for everyone, and you four are all of… interesting blood. Honestly, you might be the first of your races mixing said blood… ever. That is just fascinating.”

“If I may, I want to ask if it would be at all possible for us to conduct non invasive, completely safe tests each week to document everything that we find? Like Miss Kavya said, there aren’t many Asmodia’s left, True Vampires are exceedingly rare whilst you two are variations of Caninekin that don’t really occupy this area at all, so there is a lot we could learn from this.”

My eyes made their way over to Anput first as we just exchanged a glance, with my mate shrugging while I felt a bit of hesitation at such a thing since… well, this was a Cimeriesa asking this, and I don’t really trust this Demoness a whole lot, let alone her Clan…

When I looked to Jahi she was pursing her lips as well, but it was Leone who spoke up first as she said “It could be something we would consider so long as you present these tests to us first and explain everything in great detail. If you wish, you can go now and start preparing these drafts for us with your peers, unless there was something else to add..?”

“Not at all, Lady Leone! Then if I may..?”

Bowing and waiting for the signal from Jahi, the Cimeriesa eagerly rushed out of the room to go do just that, drawing a wry chuckle from the older Beliali Demoness as she stood up and began to put all of the tools and other things away.

“Seeing as I am the only one remaining, I’ll go ahead and give the basic rundown for what should be happening going forwards. Both Lady Anput and Lady Katherine should try their hardest to refrain from extraneous physical activity that specifically targets their core muscles, depleting their Cores, any alcohol or other relaxants, high stress environments and-”

Pausing for just a moment, Kavya looked squarely at Jahi as she said “-they should refrain from any rough and violent sexual activity, preferably for the rest of their pregnancy. I am unaware of your sizes, but you should also refrain from attempting to push into their wombs for obvious reasons. I pouted immediately since the idea of bland vanilla sex for the next however many months – if it was going to be almost a full year like I was expecting I was really going to snap – made me quite ’despondent’, though there wasn’t anything I could do now was there?

The older Demoness gave me a soft smile as she nodded, getting the hint as she gathered her things and said “Well, with that I shall go. Congratulations on this happy bit of news, and I pray everything continues as it has.” before heading out, leaving us alone once more.

Silence reigned inside of our home once again, but after a moment Jahi began to pace around as she quietly mumbled something to herself, making me sigh as I decided to just ignore her and instead look towards my mate again.

She was smirking at me already, her tail swishing lazily side to side as she said “This was earlier than I expected, but hey, what the hell right~?”, which made me smile back as I nodded in agreement.

“I can’t say I’m surprised that Kat got pregnant first, but I do- no, I suppose logically you would be the next to get impregnated, wouldn’t you? Of the three of us, I am the most unlikely to become pregnant, so-”

“Not from a lack of trying though~!”

Anput was in high spirits whilst I was just enjoying everything, the two of us actually affected by this change being completely fine whilst the Vampire was somewhat worried yet also rather relieved that we were taking it in stride.

The only one that seemed to really be worried was Jahi, and after a few moments I just had to roll my eyes as she continued to pace around us muttering something to herself, though the moment I tugged on the Soul Bond and lifted my shirt her brain short circuited and she stopped pacing.
