The moment that the news was confirmed life as I knew it changed immediately… and it mainly was thanks to Jahi being… well, Jahi, since the Demoness was adamant that there was a rather large amount of ’risk’ I was taking by just doing what I normally did.

On the one hand I wanted so badly to slap her and tell her that I would be fine, yet on the other seeing all of this concern and worry being directed at me from a place of such deep love was enough to mellow me out a little… just a little though.

She definitely… had her moments where she went a little too overprotective, and it was at those times that I felt immense gratitude to Leone who had stepped up as a more ’stable’ presence in the relationship for everyone involved.

Leone was definitely still ’on Jahi’s side’ more often than not, yes, but at the same time she knew that the Demoness was just stressing Anput and I out with all of her worrying, so she tried to mitigate it as much as she possibly could however she felt possible.

Right now that was by constantly pulling the Demoness away to just give us a few moments to breathe as she either strategically tossed down a bunch of papers that Jahi needed to take care of or by having someone else come in and inform the Demoness that she was needed elsewhere.

If those didn’t work she was usually made to resort to spiking the Demoness’ drinks and dragging her away for a nice, quick round of raw, passionate sex somewhere to settle her nerves, and while Jahi was definitely capable of controlling herself – she just rarely chose to exercise that ability – she was rather… susceptible to the Princess’ wiles.

“Being told I can’t get absolutely railed is honestly making me really, really fucking jealous of Leone right now.”

My mate was lounging on the chair situated at the end of the counter, watching me from afar and thinking about her own situation whilst also being very clearly aroused by me, but we were on a rather ’strict’ no sex to completion policy with one another at this moment in time.

Silence fell for a few minutes as I just continued to whip up a nice spread of sandwiches and loose finger foods for us to enjoy, and it was only broken when Anput asked “So whose kid do you think you’re carrying?”

The question was one that actually made me pause as I weighed my options very, very carefully, unsure of how to respond to that since it was a bit of a loaded question, though thankfully my mate added “I’m just curious, it isn’t some kind of like… test or something. Genuinely I just… can’t figure out whose it might be.”

“Logically, the one who makes the most sense is you. We’re of a similar race, we’re not of a race that tends to take long to procreate, and on top of that we’re pretty active while you have a lot of seed to give.”

Her smile returned at that, and when I asked “The real question is who do you think you’re having your kid with? Of the three for me it makes the most sense that you knocked me up first, but for you..?” her smile immediately turned into a grin.

“If you do end up having my pups first I might just end up bursting in flames out of sheer happiness~! Though just saying, since we’re both Caninekin you know that means you won’t just have one pup, right..? The likelihood is two or three.”

“I… didn’t know for sure, but… now I do.”

Obviously I was a little less enthusiast to know that with the probability of her being the Mom, the probability of me becoming a Mother to multiple babies at the same time grew higher too, because the idea of pregnancy alone scared me, and that was just with me thinking that I would have a single baby.

“You’ll do fine~! My Mother told me that all Caninekin babies come out a little smaller at the start before growing a bit faster when they’re finally out, and she’s had three litters. Besides, with those~ hips I don’t think you’ll have any~ trouble at all poppin’ them out one after another~!”

I just raised a brow at that and kept quiet, which gave Anput a moment to think as she tapped a finger against the counter, my earlier question bouncing around in her head a few times; it took her a few more seconds to come up with an answer, and it was one that definitely came from her…

“As for me, I think… Well, it’s not like I really have a preference, y’know? Jahi would be nice to give an heir to immediately, but the idea of having Leone wrapped all~ around my finger ’cause I’m pregnant with her child really~ gets me going~!”
