“You really aren’t bothered by that idea..?”

Sinking further into the warm waters of the bath, I stared at Leone with a raised brow as I asked her about Anput and I being pregnant, specifically asking about the likelihood of her not being the one to get either of us pregnant and also being unlikely to get pregnant herself.

The ashen haired Vampire was soaking just as I was, her urges taken care of for the time being thanks to a very experienced hand and some whispered words that made her quiver in excitement.

“No… Not really, and I truthfully mean that. Obviously I would love to get the news that either of you were carrying my child, just as I would love to one day have a child of my own from either Jahi or Anput, but… it doesn’t bother me at all. I mean, we’ve only really been together for a handful of years, which is nothing in front of the centuries upon centuries of life we still have…”

“You really are the most mature of us all…”

She gave me a wry smile and returned to washing her hair as she replied “I didn’t have much of a ’choice’, being a Princess and all. Not that I mind that either; it has been… an easy life so far. If I had to ’grow up’ earlier than everyone else as payment, I certainly don’t mind.”, which made me smile in reply.

“We all were pushed forwards quickly weren’t we?”

“The perks of being born to such influential and powerful people…”

For a few moments I just soaked in the waters and enjoyed the warmth permeating my bones – something that was only possible thanks to the enchanted bricks that were used to create this bath – before my smile widened as I inched a little closer to my regal wife.

“But if you had to choose, which of the two would you want to have a baby with first~?”

The immediate blush made me grin, while her shock allowed me to get right up against her as I waited for an answer, loving how she was so uncertain and yet also so aroused as she tried to figure out how to reply.

She knew she needed to since I was clinging to her, so the Vampire thought it over very carefully before pouting at me as she replied “That’s an unfair question! How can I pick one of them?”, which made me snicker as I murmured “Which one makes you feel like you’re going to get pregnant when you’re having sex~? And which one fits your ’idea’ of a Mom more~?”

Somehow she got even more red, causing me to start giggling as I held her close and basked in her heated skin as she tried to rein in her embarrassment, only to fail as I continued to ask her about the kind of sex she associated with getting impregnated and how she viewed our other two wives.

I never managed to get an actual answer as it just devolved into teasing that eventually turned into one hell of a ride that I was sure Jahi would scold me for, but in the moment this felt far more important than being overly cautious… plus we were still being careful, I just… enjoyed every single monstrous inch of my embarrassed, easily teased Vampire lover.

Anput PoV

Right as I was about to raise the very light hammer yet again to bend a thin band of silver around the horn of the anvil, I let out a sigh as the overwhelming presence of my Demoness wife filled my senses, and a moment later she barged into the forge with a conflicted look.

She definitely wasn’t happy about what she was doing but the concern was very clearly there, so I sighed again and showed her the very small hammer before returning to what I was doing, only after I watched her deflate a little as soon as she stepped inside of my forge.

“As you can see I’m not doing heavy forging. I’ve decided I need to shift my focus over to jewelry for now, since it isn’t as ’risky’ as what I was doing while still allowing me to actual do what I want. I had a feeling you’d barge in here, so… come look.”

Jahi approached the anvil tentatively, looking far more reserved than she had a moment before since she understood her worry had been unfounded, yet at the same time she still clearly cared quite a bit as she watched me resume hammering the silver band.

It was a little irritating not being able to just exist freely like I had a few days ago, but just thinking of what was in my belly now made that irritation melt away, and whatever lingered was melted by the presence of the big blue idiot that was looking like a somewhat scolded puppy.

Her amethyst eyes were slightly droopy while her lips had this adorable pout that was barely there, giving her a rather sorry look that just made me wanna reach over and pinch her cheeks… but I had a very hot billet of silver in one hand and a hammer in motion with the other, so… yeah.

“These are going to be bracelets, or more specifically cuff bracelets. Something that sits snug on the wrist but still acts as a noticeable piece of jewelry. We all kinda… can’t ’afford’ to wear rings considering everything, so I thought this’d be a nice alternative.”

“And if its just normal silver it can be easily broken if there is ever a need…”

“Preferably not but… yeah, if something happens we can just snap it off. I’ll make a set for everyone, with one being for everyday wear that we can afford to just break, and another that should be worn for special occasions…”

“That’s nice, Anput! Sorry about… y’know…”

I glanced at the big blue oaf and smirked at her as I replied “Barging in here and almost demanding I stop what I was doing? I know you are, idiot. I also know why you’re doing what you’re doing, but I wanna just let you know this; my Mother’s been pregnant in the Sultanate many times before, doing all kinds of stupid stuff. Hell, she even fought a few times. We’ll be fine, don’t worry~!”

“That… please don’t say it out loud… Fate isn’t something I would like to tempt, for anything let alone this…”

Chuckling, I shrugged and got back to bending the silver around the horn, eventually getting it to where I needed it to be and ordering the Demoness to get me various things, making use of her being here as well as her being so helpful thanks to me now being pregnant.
