Connie took home 7 Gold and Yue made 12, while Esme and Jasper both made 4 Gold too; the portion of their earnings that I kept for the business was the largest chunk, while the remaining bit was a thing that I wanted to do to further incentivize their continued work.

For every 5 Gold that they made one of those coins would find its way into the bank, matched by me and locked for a few months; whether they took it the moment it was unlocked or if they left it there for a rainy day was up to them, and they knew about this beforehand as well.

So right now – since I was feeling generous – I rounded up for them and made a note to take that money to the bank tomorrow to put into their accounts, making sure I wrote down who got what as I began one of the many ledgers needed for running this business.
