My Werewolf System - Chapter 1337 - 1337: The Luna's New Form
Right after the second class had been selected for Xin, Gary could see all the information related to her glowing before his eyes. It was different compared to the others; he now had access to everything about her class through the system, which was incredibly handy to have. The original Luna skills that Ylva used were there, but what he was more interested in was what he saw next.
[The Lunar Sentinel Class can only be activated when Luna form has been activated] [Luna Form can only be activated when the skill, unlock True Alpha form has been used]
Gary quickly read the details of the skill. It was the same as Midwak had explained: the skill the Luna used to unlock the Alpha form that he had seen Lupus use. What was interesting, from what he could read, was that this Lunar Sentinel form wasn’t something that Xin could go into on her own. Just like when he had seen Ylva and Lupus fight together, the two brought out the best in each other. However, from what Gary could see, this Lunar Sentinel form was nothing like what Ylva had; it was entirely different, and that was due to the Protector Class that Marie had picked for Xin.
Lunar Sentinel: Class Description
Gary read the description aloud to Xin, who was standing right in front of him. Most of them knew about the system, but it was still weird to see him just reading off information like this. Either way, Xin was excited.
“So this is my powerful form, right? Like the ones that you have as well, so what can I do?” she asked, her eyes sparking with anticipation.
[Moonforged Body: Gains increased durability, regeneration, and resistance when under moonlight. The closer to the Full Moon phases, damage reduction is nearly doubled.]
Gary clicked his tongue as soon as he read out the words.
“That sucks a bit,” Kai said, his brow furrowed. “I had an inkling that the power of the Luna was greatly related to the moon, but due to the deal we have, she can’t even transform during that time.”
“Right, but based on the words, she’ll be stronger closer to the full moon,” Marie interjected, ever practical. “So the day before the full moon, her defenses will be at their strongest.”
[Aegis Howl: Emits a magical howl that boosts nearby allies’ defenses and reflects a portion of incoming damage, at the time of the Howl]
“That sounds like a powerful move that can be used for those around me as well,” Xin mused, her eyes gleaming. “As long as it’s timed well, I’ll be able to hurt the attacker. The only thing is it only reduces the damage; it doesn’t get rid of it completely, so I’ll still be hurt. Still, these skills sound amazing!”
After seeing what Ylva could do with her spears, Gary knew the Lunar powers were incredibly powerful, and it made him wonder what would have happened if there was a warrior-type Luna.
[Silver Eclipse Barrier: Conjures a shimmering barrier of moonlight that can absorb both physical and energy attacks. Once broken, it explodes, blinding enemies nearby.]
“This skill makes me wonder if it will work against the vampires’ red aura energy blasts,” Gary thought to himself, a new strategy forming in his mind.
“I wonder as well, how long I will be able to use these skills. We need to test this at some point,” Xin said, voicing the thought.
Finally, there was one last skill, though it was more of a passive ability.
[Loyal Fang: Damage increases proportionally to the number of allies nearby. The Sentinel becomes more powerful the more they have to protect.]
“That’s as I expected as well,” Kai said, a satisfied nod. “It appears that turning Xin into a Lunar has greatly increased our powers, and my decision to prepare beforehand has worked well. But it’s as Xin said, the best thing to do would be to test all of this.”
Hearing those words, Gary scratched the side of his head. “But there’s a problem with that, right? The only way for her to unlock her powers is to unlock my new form as well.” Gary explained, the details of his own new ability appearing in his mind. He could see the specifics: it was different from what he had seen Lupus display, but there was one unsettling similarity – the potential loss of control. The only person capable of bringing them back from that uncontrolled state was the Luna.
“It isn’t something that we should try in the city,” Gary stated firmly.
“I agree with that… I guess it means we need a trip to the mountains somewhere,” Kai gestured with a sly smile. “We don’t have a lot of time, so why don’t we just head today? It’s late and there’s no one around; it’s a good time to go a bit wild, right?”
No time to rest. With the very real possibility of needing Xin’s help to calm Gary down, they would all have to go to prepare. To see Xin’s new form, and Gary’s as well.

At the same time, in Ruin City, Lupus was still recovering in his castle. Even for him, his wounds had been painful, and he gently touched the side of his body, though there was no longer anything visible to betray his recent injuries.
Just then, there was a sharp knock at the large double doors.
“Come in!” Lupus shouted, his voice resonating through the chamber.
Entering inside was the bookkeeper, Garlark. “Sir,” Garlark announced, bowing slightly. “The guest you have asked for has arrived. Your brother is here to see you.”
