My Werewolf System - Chapter 1451: All At The Point

Chapter 1451: All At The Point
Back at the restaurant base, Gary’s battle raged on.
The chaos hadn’t let up for even a second.
With Crawley’s arrival came a fresh wave of Werewolves, each one fiercer than the last, their eyes wild and filled with bloodlust. And these weren’t just ordinary fighters. Some of them… had been revived by Ylva.
The undead Werewolves moved with unnatural strength, immune to pain, and it was taking everything Gary had just to hold his ground.
Thankfully, the clash between Ylva and Blake seemed to be going surprisingly well.
He didn’t know how Blake was managing it, but the two were still locked in combat, striking at each other with terrifying speed and force.
Despite being only an Altered Hunter, Blake was holding his own against a Luna.
Gary had always known Blake was impressive, but even now, even after everything they’d been through, he had managed to surprise him again.
‘I can still feel it… that powerful energy,’ Gary thought, pausing for just a second as his senses scanned the battlefield.
‘That has to be another Alpha. It has to be Kai. And the fact that Lupus isn’t here right now… has Kai joined the fight? Is he holding Lupus back?’
It was the only explanation that made sense.
But Gary didn’t have long to dwell on it.
His attention snapped forward as he spotted movement, more Werewolves flooding in from the treeline behind where Ylva and her group had come from.
They weren’t coming from one path either, they were surrounding them.
‘What is this…?’ Gary’s heartbeat quickened. ‘We’re already barely keeping up with the numbers we’re dealing with now… are these reinforcements?’
His eyes scanned their movements, the way they howled, the speed, the aggression.
‘Is it because of the Luna’s Wolf Song?’
Even if it hadn’t summoned them directly, the melody still echoed in their bodies, strengthening them, making them faster, more vicious, and harder to take down.
‘Or is something going wrong in the other battle zones? What happened to the rest?’
As if in response to his thoughts, Gary caught sight of movement in the distance, several figures running full speed toward the restaurant.
His eyes widened in recognition.
They were Howler members, the White Rose group among them. Elijah, Sadie, and Frank were out front, along with other familiar faces from the pack.
They were retreating. Regrouping.
And close behind them…
More Werewolves.
Dozens of them.
Chasing them.
‘Where’s Kanu?’ Gary wondered for a fleeting moment, but he had no time to search for answers.
Gripping his war hammer tight, he charged forward.
He couldn’t let the others face the tide alone.
From the hilltop, Gary sprinted down toward the oncoming threat, well aware that his movement would allow more Werewolves to reach the restaurant behind him.
But the others needed him now.
As he descended the slope, a lone Werewolf burst past him in a blur, teeth snapping as it lunged toward the fleeing Howlers.
Gary shifted his weight, ready to turn back, his instincts screaming at him to guard the rear.
But before he could act,
THWACK!
An axe whistled through the air, passing just inches from Gary’s face.
It buried itself deep into the side of the charging Werewolf’s skull.
The creature collapsed instantly, a heap of fur and blood in the dirt.
Seconds later, the axe dislodged itself, ripped free from the skull, and floated back into the air, hovering midair with quiet menace.
“Sorry,” a voice wheezed from the side. “I’ve been out of the fight for a while.”
It was Innu.
He stumbled forward, panting heavily, sweat pouring down his face. His arms were trembling, and his legs looked like they could give out at any moment.
He was completely exhausted.
But in his hand, he still gripped his axe, the very same weapon that had helped reenergize him just enough to stay on his feet.
“Go!” Innu shouted, his voice strained. “Go help them, go!”
Without hesitation, Gary lunged from his position.
His war hammer lifted high over his head, he came crashing down on the approaching wave of Werewolves like a force of nature.
The ground cracked beneath his blow.
The enemy didn’t see it coming.
They had no idea that Gary still had this kind of strength left in him. To them, it seemed impossible that anyone could strike with such power after so long in the battle.
The surprise alone was enough to shatter their formation.
And yet, even as Gary tore through the enemy lines, smashing through bodies, giving the Howler members and White Rose warriors room to breathe, it was clear the tide was far from turning.
Because more Werewolves were arriving.
Every second, more of them joined the fight.
From behind the hills, from the treelines, creatures that had backed off in previous fights were now surging forward again.
The ones who had retreated from Austin’s group… were back.
The ones who had fled their battle with Ice and Apollo… they were here too.
All the scattered packs. All the regrouped forces.
They were converging on this one point.
Gary’s battlefield.
The restaurant base was no longer just a stronghold, it was the last stand.
The others quickly realized what was happening. Everyone who had been spread out was now drawn into one brutal, all-consuming fight.
And for the first time…
It was overwhelming.
Even with Gary at the front, even with Blake holding off Ylva, everyone was being pushed back.
They were still standing. Still swinging. Still fighting with everything they had. But they were clearly on the defensive.
Cornered.
But that was when something unexpected began to happen.
When people were trapped… when they had no escape…
That’s when they became dangerous.
That’s when they fought with the desperation of those who had nothing to lose.
And that’s what they were doing now.
The Howlers. The White Rose. Every survivor left standing.
If they could just hold out for three more hours, if they could endure the endless waves, they might be able to turn it all around.
The night wasn’t over yet.
And so, the brutal clash continued.
Meanwhile, at the center of it all, Ylva’s patience was unraveling.
Her claws clashed against Blake’s again and again, the sound ringing through the battlefield. Sparks flew as bone met metal, power against power.
She snarled with every strike, but no matter how fast she moved, no matter how much strength she put behind her blows, Blake blocked them all.
Every single one.
Worse, his counters were sharp, unpredictable, and painful.
She could see them coming, but that didn’t make them any easier to deal with.
“Arghh! Everything is annoying!” she screamed in her mind, slashing again in frustration.
Where is Slit?! What’s happening with Lupus?! Where is the second wave, why aren’t they here right now?!
Her plan had been perfect.
The Wolf Song. The revived army. The overwhelming numbers.
But now, with the chaos swallowing the battlefield and her enemies refusing to fall,
Ylva was starting to feel something she hadn’t felt in a long time.
Doubt.
