My Werewolf System - Chapter 1745 Mysterious men

Chapter 1745 Mysterious men
MWS Chapter
Daphne was left in confusion as she saw the man in the trench coat, she didn’t quite understand what was going on. They had gone on this mission in secret, the general public thought the building was just closed for the day, and this was a city that belonged to her and the Bree family. Everything that happened here should have been within their control, within their awareness, and yet there was now a powerful stranger standing in front of them.
She wasn’t expecting any help to come, and yet it did. The person in front of her, she had no idea who they were either but most of all what was impressive, was the man’s power. It wasn’t just that he had shown up, it was how he had shown up and what he had done within seconds of appearing.
The strange red aura that left the man had exploded and blew up parts of the Werewolves flesh as it sent it flying back. The flesh hadn’t just been torn, it had burst apart as if something had detonated from the inside. Even Daphne, who had fought many strong opponents before, could tell this wasn’t ordinary strength.
The man then stood up right, as the other Werewolves were snarling and bearing their teeth at the intruder. They didn’t hesitate, they didn’t fear him, they only saw another target in front of them.
“Make sure the two of them stay safe.” The man said.
“Yes master.” Several voices said in unison, and almost as if they had teleported in, Yin and Daphne could see several more men appear around them in the same dark clothing with sunglasses covering their faces. They hadn’t heard them enter, hadn’t sensed movement, and yet they were now positioned around them in a protective formation.
“Where did they all come from?” Yin asked.
“I have no idea…and who even are these people?” Daphne said.
There hadn’t been any warning, and that alone made Daphne uneasy. In her own city, with her own connections, strangers with this type of coordination shouldn’t have been able to move unnoticed.
The Werewolves charged forward towards them and a battle had started. The men in trench coats, were quick on their feet as they shifted backwards. They didn’t clash head on, instead they adjusted their footing and created space, keeping the creatures in front while ensuring Daphne and Yin were shielded.
As one Werewolf stretched out its arm and claw, one of the men swung his arm releasing a red aura hitting it slightly away, and then another ally aimed it hitting one of the Werewolves in the chest. The aura didn’t explode this time, it cut, leaving behind a visible wound.
It had made a shallow cut and pushed them somewhat back, but the Werewolf was still standing strong. Their bodies were tough, their regeneration was active, and shallow wounds meant little unless they were placed in the right spots.
Eventually two of the mysterious men, had continuously thrown out the red aura, aiming at a particular point on the Werewolf and had managed to slice off one of its arms. It hadn’t happened in one strike, but through repeated precision. They were clearly trained to target weaknesses rather than rely on brute force.
They then got close, and continued to use the red aura making a big enough cut on the neck that they had managed to kill one. The creature collapsed after a final slash that severed deep enough to stop it completely.
However it wasn’t all good news.
One of the Werewolves had gotten close. One of the mysterious men, was quick as he avoided several strikes, and then punched the Werewolf in the stomach several times. The punches were reinforced with that same red aura, each hit making a loud impact.
The impact was strong and loud as they could hear it, but the Werewolf, had swung its arm, and managed to rip its claw into the man’s arm. The claws tore through cloth and flesh, and the man’s balance shifted instantly.
It then lifted the man, and threw him onto the floor cracking the floor beneath him, the Werewolf lifted its leg up and slammed it onto of the man breaking the flooring and sending one of the mysterious men through the ground.
The force alone showed the clear difference in raw physical strength.
Although the mysterious men had strange powers, and were quite skilled, it seemed they were out numbered and out strengthened by the creatures in front of them. Their aura was effective, but their bodies couldn’t withstand direct hits.
That was all for one of them that was.
The man who had saved them with short black hair, and a goatee beard on his face, he had been holding back a few of the Werewolves all on his own, and not just holding them back, but had defeated them. There was a clear difference between him and the others.
As the Werewolf who had just killed one of the mysterious men moved ahead, that was when the man with black hair, had charged forward, his finger tips were glowing red with aura. The glow was more concentrated than the others, more refined.
Then it shoved it right through the stomach of the Werewolf’s body piercing right through it.
There was no resistance.
A few seconds later, and the Werewolf’s entire body exploded sending large chunks of pieces flying everywhere. The explosion was controlled in direction, avoiding Daphne and Yin, but strong enough to end the creature completely.
It splattered but it was also a signal to them, that it was over. The Werewolves had been killed, and it seemed like they had stopped coming from the staircase.
Three of the five mysterious men that were protecting Yin and Daphne had died, and if it wasn’t for the black haired man, it would have probably been all of them.
Finally the man started to walk over to them.
“I’m sure you have a lot of questions running through your head right now, my name is Jin Talon.” The man said.
Daphne was trying to think if the name rang any bells, a person this powerful with these type of people surely she should have known about him right? But she had no idea. That bothered her more than anything else.
“Like I said, I know you have a lot of questions, but I guess the main thing you need to know is that we’re trying to get to the bottom of those things as well.”
Several of the men dressed the same way had come in through the main entrance doors at that point, four of them and they were dragging one of the Werewolves they had been fighting against just moments ago. The creature was still alive, restrained but growling.
“You see we heard there is something special about you miss Bree.” Jin said. “And we were wondering, if we could get some use of your powers.”
