Arriving once again at the Sabaody Archipelago, Shin felt a wave of nostalgia wash over him.
“Let’s look around the island first and buy what we need—”
Shin addressed the women. They needed to restock essentials—food, fresh water, and medical supplies.
Speaking of which, his ship still lacked a proper doctor. Marguerite was currently studying medicine, and with the Op-Op Fruit she had eaten, she was shaping up to be a competent surgeon.
But Shin wasn’t too worried about it. He could fill in as a doctor if needed. After all, he’d learned medical techniques from Tsunade and had long since surpassed her.
“MAKE WAY! A CELESTIAL DRAGON IS COMING! EVERYONE, ON YOUR KNEES!”
An arrogant voice cut through the air, belonging to one of the Celestial Dragons’ lackeys.
A grotesquely ugly, fat man with a bubble helmet on his head held a chain, the other end of which was attached to a muscular fish-man slave.
The fish-man was crawling on the ground in humiliation.
Even after Fisher Tiger’s slave liberation incident, countless fish-men were still being captured and enslaved. To the Celestial Dragons, fish-men made perfect slaves, while mermaids were prized as the ultimate trophies.
————
“This is my first time seeing a Celestial Dragon,” Robin said, looking at the approaching figure.
“A bunch of idiots. Wearing bubble helmets—you’d think they wanted to be astronauts.”
Shin had absolutely no sympathy for the Celestial Dragons. They were the world’s biggest pieces of shit, strutting around claiming to be descendants of gods, so arrogant they wouldn’t even breathe the same air as commoners.
“I have a bad feeling about this…”
Olvia said with a resigned sigh. Encountering a Celestial Dragon meant their peaceful departure was now in jeopardy.
It was simple: you had to kneel before a Celestial Dragon. They wouldn’t tolerate any disrespect.
And would they kneel?? Absolutely not. A conflict was inevitable.
Some pirates, sensing trouble, had already slipped away. No one wanted to mess with the Celestial Dragons—everyone knew the consequences. Cross them, and you’d have a Marine Admiral hunting you down.
Who the hell wanted that kind of heat unless they had a death wish??
The pirates who remained knelt in humiliation.
Dignity was important, but not everyone valued it more than their life.
Soon, almost everyone was on their knees, leaving only Shin and his group standing.
————
“Well, we certainly stand out,” Shin said with a smile.
“Get ready to fight,”
Olvia said, sparks of electricity crackling on her hands. She had already guessed what would happen next. Soon, they would be facing a Marine Admiral or a powerhouse from the secret organization, CP0.
“HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT A CELESTIAL DRAGON?”
The ugly Celestial Dragon raised his golden pistol.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!
CLANG!
The bullet fired at Shin was sliced in half by Hancock’s sword, along with the Celestial Dragon himself.
Blood splattered, and a dead silence fell. After a long moment, terrified screams erupted. Many people had pissed their pants.
“A Celestial Dragon is dead! What do we do?”
“Someone just killed a Celestial Dragon! We’re all going to be implicated!”
“Damn it! Who the hell was that? Who just dragged us into this mess? Let’s kill him first!”
“You go ahead. That’s Shin Uzumaki, one of the Five Emperors. You’d probably be the one getting killed.”
————
Whispers and panicked discussions spread through the crowd. A Celestial Dragon had been killed—it was like the sky was falling.
They might all be killed along with him.
Some people recognized Shin and knew a good show was about to start. The Celestial Dragons might have high status, but Shin Uzumaki was no pushover.
One of the Five Emperors of the Sea—the World’s Strongest Man.
No wonder he had the balls to kill a Celestial Dragon.
“Everyone, looks like we’re in for a good show. This time, the killer of the Celestial Dragon probably won’t get into trouble. We can just watch.”
“Goodbye, everyone. I don’t want to watch this show. I’m afraid I won’t live to see the end.”
Some wanted to watch the show, but others were terrified and didn’t want to get involved. This wasn’t something you could just watch for fun. When gods fight, mortals suffer. If a real fight broke out, they would be the ones to suffer.
————
“You’re quite decisive, Hancock.”
Olvia glanced at Hancock, then asked Shin, “Shin, are we leaving now, or are we waiting here?”
“Let’s wait. Let’s see how the Five Elders react.”
Shin wasn’t in a hurry to leave. He swaggered into a nearby bar, with Hancock, Robin, and the others following him.
The bar owner was on the verge of tears when he saw Shin walk in.
“….”
“I’m getting the hell out of here!” The owner bolted, abandoning his bar without a second thought. The business was valuable, but not worth dying over.
“Olvia, what do you want to drink?” Shin asked.
“I don’t drink. And… are you sure it’s a good idea to be this calm?” Olvia glanced at Shin and couldn’t help but say.
“What else can I do if I’m not calm? You want me to cry? It’s just killing one Celestial Dragon.”
Shin poured himself a beer.
“It’s been years since anyone killed a Celestial Dragon. This matter won’t be resolved so easily.” Robin said.
“So what? If the Five Elders come, I’ll kill them too.”
Hancock was quite confident. Her strength now rivaled any Admiral’s. Even facing one head-on, she could hold her own.
“Don’t get overconfident, Hancock. The Five Elders aren’t pushovers. They might be even stronger than the Admirals,” Shin warned her.
Most Celestial Dragons were complete garbage—but the Five Elders were different. Their power was absolutely terrifying. You don’t reach the top of the World Government without having the strength to back it up.
————
As Shin and his group waited for trouble to arrive—the Five Elders had already received the news.
“Shin Uzumaki and his group killed a Celestial Dragon. Their audacity knows no bounds.” Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro held his sword, a cold light flashing in his eyes.
How the hell were they supposed to explain this to Imu-sama? What if their master flew into a rage? The Five Elders were absolutely livid.
“This bastard keeps pushing his luck. Two years ago, he leveled Enies Lobby, and now he’s murdered a Celestial Dragon. We can’t let this slide anymore.”
Saint Shepherd Ju Peter’s voice was ice-cold. His patience had finally snapped. Shin Uzumaki was crossing every line they had.
