“What do you think we should do? Turn a blind eye, or go settle scores with Shin Uzumaki?”
Saint Marcus Mars spoke up after a moment of silence.
Although Saint Shepherd Ju Peter had angrily declared that Shin Uzumaki had to pay, but how exactly were they supposed to make that happen?
Shin Uzumaki wasn’t some pushover they could easily handle. If he were, they would’ve dealt with him ages ago.
“Let me say this: We have to act, but a life-or-death battle with Shin Uzumaki is out of the question.”
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn spoke up.
Act??
Of course, they had to move against Shin Uzumaki eventually—but not now. They weren’t ready. The Five Elders didn’t actually want to take action yet. If they were serious about it, they wouldn’t be sitting here stewing in frustration.
“Notify the Marines. Send the three Admirals over. And have CP0 act as well. The main goal is to probe Shin Uzumaki’s strength.”
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn said with determination.
“Can they really probe Shin Uzumaki’s strength?” Saint Topman Warcury expressed his doubts.
Sengoku and Garp together were no match for Shin Uzumaki. And according to what they had said—they were completely crushed by him. In that case, could the three Admirals and CP0 deal with Shin Uzumaki?
“Even if we only get scraps of intel, it’s better than nothing. Let’s give the order now. If Shin Uzumaki slips away, he’ll be even harder to track down later. We need to show we’re taking this seriously.”
With Saint Jaygarcia Saturn’s explanation, the other Five Elders finally got it. This was all for Imu-sama’s benefit—a show of action. That made sense.
“Since we’re all in agreement, let’s contact Sengoku.”
————
The Five Elders immediately contacted Sengoku, who grew deadly serious the moment he received the order.
Anything involving Shin Uzumaki demanded his absolute focus.
Having fought the man before, Sengoku had witnessed that terrifying power firsthand. He knew Shin Uzumaki operated on a completely different level from Whitebeard and the other Emperors.
After ending the Den Den Mushi call, Sengoku immediately summoned all three Admirals.
“I have a very important mission for you—regarding the Celestial Dragons.” Sengoku said solemnly to Akainu, Kizaru, and Aokiji.
“Did someone mess with the Celestial Dragons?”
Aokiji’s eyes narrowed. Who the hell was crazy enough to pick a fight with them?
“More than that—someone actually killed one of them.” Sengoku took a deep breath before continuing.
Sengoku took a deep breath and then spoke.
“A CELESTIAL DRAGON IS DEAD?”
Akainu and the others stared in shock. Even Kizaru, who normally didn’t give a damn about anything, couldn’t hide his surprise.
“That’s right. A Celestial Dragon was killed. And it was Shin Uzumaki who did it.”
Even though Hancock was the one who actually killed the Celestial Dragon, it might as well have been Shin who did it. According to the reports they’d received, Shin was being blamed for the murder.
“Shin Uzumaki…” Fire sparked in Akainu’s eyes as he remembered his past humiliation.
A dignified Marine Admiral had been captured by Shin Uzumaki. Akainu had to wash away this shame. Even after so many years—there were still Marines who talked about it. His reputation in the Marines was in tatters.
Only by personally capturing Shin Uzumaki could Akainu wash away his shame. For a long time, he had been applying to Sengoku to deal with Shin Uzumaki, but he had always been rejected.
Now, he finally had a chance to act!
————
“Remember, if you can’t beat him, retreat immediately. I don’t want to hear that anything has happened to you.”
Sengoku said to them.
“Don’t worry, Fleet Admiral.”
Kizaru’s face broke into a grin. When he smiled, his already sketchy expression looked even more sleazier. It wasn’t his fault—that’s just how his face was
Sengoku glanced at Kizaru.
Knowing Kizaru, Sengoku could read his thoughts—the lazy bastard just wanted to get out of work. Normally, Sengoku would chew him out for that attitude, but this time he kept his mouth shut.
Kizaru being like this was actually better.
The only one he was worried about was Akainu.
Sure, they had different philosophies, but Akainu’s dedication to fighting pirates was undeniable. You could say that among the three Admirals, Akainu was the most committed to hunting down pirates, and his track record proved it.
“Alright, you can go now. The World Government should have someone to assist you.”
Sengoku ordered the three Admirals to go and deal with Shin Uzumaki.
They had to put on a show. Kizaru was the fastest and headed to the Sabaody Archipelago first. Akainu and Aokiji followed by warship—they’d probably arrive shortly after.
————
In the bar on the Sabaody Archipelago, Shin had his legs on the table.
“This is so slow. If it were anyone else, they would have left long ago.” Shin picked his ear, looking bored.
“That’s just us. Anyone else would’ve bolted by now. They probably think we’re completely insane,” Olvia couldn’t help but say.
Killing a Celestial Dragon and then casually hanging around drinking—even Whitebeard wouldn’t have the balls to pull that off.
“This just proves how strong we are. I wonder who they’re sending this time,” Hancock said, itching for a fight.
“Hancock, you’re too warlike. I think reading is more interesting than fighting.” Robin glanced at Hancock and said.
“Is that so? But Shin likes me this way!” Hancock said provocatively to Robin.
“That’s not necessarily true. I think Shin probably prefers women who aren’t constantly looking for a fight.” Robin smiled elegantly.
Shin glanced between Hancock and Robin. He had no idea why they were always at each other’s throats. By now he’d learned to just stay out of it—pretending not to see or hear anything was the safest bet.
Getting caught in the middle of their rivalry was the last thing he wanted.
But alas… no matter how hard he tried to play oblivious, he always ended up getting dragged into it anyway—
“Shin, who do you like the most among us?” Hancock looked at Shin with expectant eyes.
“I like Olvia the most. She’s obedient,” Shin said irritably.
“Shin, what the hell are you saying?” Robin pinched him hard. Olvia was her mother—how could he even go there?
“It’s the truth, isn’t it, Olvia?” Shin’s gaze turned to Olvia.
Olvia’s eyes flickered slightly, then she rolled her eyes at Shin. She suspected Shin was just using her as a shield.
