They spent a few days on Dressrosa, and during that time, Doflamingo was smart enough to stay out of their way. Not that he had the guts to cause trouble for Shin in the first place—unless he had a death wish, which he currently did not.
Whatever happened in Dressrosa after Shin left was Doflamingo’s problem. If he couldn’t handle it, that was on him. But with Doflamingo’s skills, there was no way he’d screw it up.

“What the hell?? Who ripped out my tangerine trees??” Nami’s furious voice echoed across the deck.
Besides money, the little thief cat loved tangerines the most. Yet someone had the audacity to pull out her tree.
“I did,” Sugar said, not looking the least bit sorry. “I’m going to plant grapes here.”
Nami was so angry she wanted to march over and give the little brat a piece of her mind. But then she remembered how small Sugar was and decided against it.
Alright, let’s be real. Nami just knew she couldn’t win.
If she could have, she definitely would have thrown down. But the truth was, she was no match for Sugar.
‘I need to get stronger,’ Nami thought, a new resolve in her eyes. ‘Otherwise, I can’t even get revenge when I get bullied.’
For the first time, she felt the burning need to improve her own strength.
Shin had taught her the basics of the Six Powers before, but as for Armament and Observation Haki, you needed a strong body to even begin learning them. So even if he tried to teach her now, it would be useless.
Nami swallowed her anger and went to replant her tangerine trees somewhere else. Thankfully, Sugar had only uprooted them, not thrown them overboard. If she had, Nami might have actually tried to fight her to the death.
“Shin, I want to get stronger,” Nami said, having found him.
“Oh? Is this about Sugar?”
Shin had heard her yelling earlier. It wasn’t hard to guess what had sparked this sudden motivation.
Nami didn’t speak, just nodded silently. It was indeed because of Sugar. She wasn’t asking Shin to punish the little girl for her; she wanted to do it herself. But with her current strength, that wasn’t happening. To get stronger, and fast, her only option was to ask Shin for help.
“Funny,” Shin mused. “I seem to recall offering to train you before, and you weren’t interested. Now you’re coming to me?”
He had personally offered to teach her, but she’d blown him off. Now that she was the one asking, he felt like making her sweat a little.
“I was stupid then…” Nami said. In truth, she was kicking herself. She should have started training long ago.
“Go ask Olvia to train you,” Shin told her.
“You’re not going to teach me?” she asked, a hint of disappointment in her voice.
“Nope.” Shin nodded.
“Why not?” Nami grumbled. Was it because she had refused him before? “Is it because I turned you down that one time? You’re not that petty, are you, Shin?”
She grabbed his arm and shook it, already knowing his weakness: he was a sucker for this kind of thing.
“Please, forgive me?”
“I’m just feeling lazy right now,” Shin said with a sigh. “Honestly, Olvia teaching you is the same thing.”
It was just the Six Powers, after all. That was the best place to start. Getting stronger in this world was a lot more painful than in the world of Naruto.
‘Too bad they can’t use chakra. That would make things a lot easier. But different worlds, different rules, I guess. I can’t even learn Haki naturally; I had to copy it first.’
“Fine, don’t teach me then! Hmph, I’ll go find Olvia.” Nami stomped her foot and marched off.
Shin just chuckled and lay back on his beach chair to soak up the sun.
Today, no one is going to interrupt his sunbathing.
He had just had that thought when a small figure came barreling toward him, crashing right into him.
Annoyed at being disturbed again, Shin opened his eyes to see Sugar. This little girl was a real handful. She’d only been on the ship for a short time, and she’d already caused more chaos than everyone else combined.
“Shin, it was Baby-5! She was chasing me, that’s why I bumped into you!” Sugar squeaked, seeing the dark look on his face. She pointed a finger at Baby-5, who was running up behind her with two swords drawn.
“Oh? And can you tell me why Baby-5 was chasing you?” Shin asked with a deceptively sweet smile.
“I don’t know! She just started chasing me!” Sugar lied through her teeth.
“Baby-5, take her and teach her some manners.” Shin picked Sugar up and handed her over.
He didn’t believe for a second that Baby-5 would chase her for no reason.
The furious Baby-5 took Sugar from him, a cruel smile spreading across her face.
“You deliberately messed up the floor I just finished cleaning! If I don’t set you straight, you’ll never learn!” Baby-5 said, pulling out a variety of weapons and brandishing them at Sugar.
Sugar had done it on purpose, and that’s why Baby-5 was so pissed.
And so, Sugar was dragged away. She looked pitiful, but Shin felt no sympathy. She had brought it on herself.
He went back to his sunbathing, while Nami found Olvia.
“Olvia, please teach me,” Nami said with a serious bow.
“You want to ask me about navigation? Of course,” Olvia replied, assuming Nami was there for a lesson on sailing. Olvia knew a great deal and was more than capable of teaching her.
“No, it’s not about navigation. I want to get stronger.”
Nami quickly shook her head. Sailing was important, but this was about improving her own strength.
“You want to get stronger?” Olvia looked at Nami, completely surprised.
‘Back on Amazon Lily, she had zero interest in this…’ Olvia thought. What happened?
“Yes. I want to get stronger. Will you teach me, Olvia?” Nami asked, looking at her with a mix of nervousness and hope, afraid she would say no.
