Chapter 2518: Vampire in the Sewers III
“Who is there?!” Lycan stated as he looked to a part in the sewers that was darker than the rest. View the correct content at f|ree(w)ebn\o.vel.co(m)
Lycan can see in the dark, but this specific part of the sewer walls was darker than the rest. It looked like the shadows were bent in this part of the sewer walls. It would have been unnoticed to the untrained eye, but Lycan can see it clearly. He can tell that this place is as unnatural as can be.
“I did not want to suddenly spoil your own fun though. You looked like you did not need my help anyways.” Adrian replied.
“I told you that Alucred is fine, but the direction is that passage where they came from. I am now focusing just as you asked of me and now, I can feel it somewhat clearly. There are some there, but I do not know what they are doing.” The Young Prince Alucred stated.
“Are you even taking me to the correct path?” Solstice asked as he brought Joaquin with him. She currently has numerous blood swords swirling around him. This is to make sure that he has no chance to escape or even attempt to escape.
She swung her right hand, and a quick red flash was created that illuminated the room for a moment. All the five vampires that charged towards her suddenly turned into minced meat. They were all killed in an instant without any resistance as they were only knight level vampires that have been recently converted to serve the Blood Queen Bathory.

“If you are lost then you could just teleport out of here.” Lycan stated.
Joaquin thought that five vampires would be enough to at least heavily injure the woman before her. He thought that they were all just taken by surprise earlier which is why she was able to kill his two assistants in an instant. He never thought that the woman before her could cleave and dice other vampires like they were tofu. She was even smiling while she did it which is why Joaquin was about to lose his mind.
“If that was the case then why did you not hand him over to them or sent him back to the palace?” Lycan asked.
“This crazy woman is much powerful than I realized. Why is my luck suddenly so abysmal! I was the luckiest out of them all and I even became a Baron.” Joaquin thought as fear could be seen written on his face.
“His ghost teacher that is stuck on his locket. I will tell you about it on the way. Since we already found vampires then we must be close to their den. Tell us the way, young prince.” Adrian stated.
“See, my student! This is why they said to never meet your heroes because they are like this. You should treat your teacher with respect because I always take your side.” Teacher Helsing stated.
“I will keep my promise. Do not worry as I am an honorable noble and we need to keep our word.” Solstice stated.
“I said that this must be the right path. If the path was wrong, then we would not have encountered other vampires.” Solstice stated with a smile that almost made Joaquin pee on his pants again.
“He is right about that though.” The Young Prince Alucred stated.
“Point taken. So, who is the brat? Also, why is there a child with you?” Lycan asked as the one that Adrian was accompanying is a child by his standards.
“Well done, brother-in-law.” Adrian stated as he stepped out of the shadows.
“Hey! I did not detect them because there is something down there that is messing up my detection. I bet those vampires were weak which is why I could not feel them when a bigger source is here.” The Young Prince Alucred stated to defend himself.
“I could but that would also mean starting from the beginning which would take hours again.” Adrian replied.
“That is right! My student is still a newbie, and this is his first field training. He will have some problems that will arise but that is what field training is for.” Teacher Helsing stated even though Lycan cannot see him.
“Yes, your grace.” Joaquin stated unaware of the blood pool that is being collected beneath the feet of Solstice.
“There they are?!” Solstice stated as she slit her palm to release her real weapons which are dual blades.
“Equinox? If you were there, then you should have helped me.” Lycan stated as another person came out of the shadows.
“It seems that you are right in choosing this path.” Solstice stated.
“If I find that you are lying then I will cut down one of your arms.” Solstice replied as she entered the passage that Joaquin pointed her to.
“Did I not tell you that I will send you to the shortcut? I might have forgotten to tell that we might encounter others on the way there. Forgive me for my lack of better judgement.” Joaquin stated.
“Okay then.” Solstice replied as she kept an eye on the hostage she has just acquired.
“The path ahead is riddled with numerous vampires. They will be able to at least injure her to the point that her head will be a fine offering to the queen. It would also save my own head because I will be killed if they learned that I was the one that brought her here.” Joaquin thought as he led the way or rather led to the path where most vampires would stay.
When she entered, the place was indeed fairly large compared to the tight spaces they were in before. She did not see anyone when she entered though but that was just a façade. Five vampires were clinging to the upper wall behind her. All five of the vampires kicked their feet on the wall and charged towards Solstice.
“What can the little brat do though?” Lycan asked as he still does not believe that the Young Prince Alucred could help them.
“Who are you both talking to?” Lycan asked.
“He has vampire hunter blood, and it reacts to vampires, but I am suddenly doubting that because he did not sense those that were coming.” Adrian stated as he looked towards the Young Prince Alucred. freew\e bnovel.com
“You should not defend your student when it comes to that. He should always be ready for any type of danger. He should be able to differentiate the auras of powerful and weak vampires.” Adrian stated.
“This is the prince of this kingdom who foolishly went inside the sewers to find the hiding place of the vampires. He planned to lure the knights to the sewers with his disappearance. I bet they are already scrambling their heads on what to do next. They must be looking for him now.” Adrian stated.
“You have been silent for a few minutes, and we have been walking for at least twenty.” Solstice stated as one of the swords pierced Joaquin’s shoulder.
“Let us go then.” Adrian stated as he led the way.
“I am sorry?” Joaquin stated in response as he did not know what to say.
“That is the reason and also I am lost in this place.” Adrian stated.
“Yes. This is a series of complex tunnels, but we will arrive just as I promised. I will deliver you to the queen as long as you keep your promise to let me go.” Joaquin stated.
“The reason is that I am needed to find the vampires. I can feel their malevolent energy in the deepest part of the sewer which we are not that far away from.” The Young Prince Alucred stated.
“Argh! Please do not hurt me! I am not doing anything unjust to you. The paths are really just winding. We had to memorize this maze as we were instructed to do so. I know this place like the back of my hand.” Joaquin stated as Solstice took out the blood sword that pierced his shoulder.
“This is the first entrance to the shortcut that I have been telling you about. Please check if you are doubting me.” Joaquin stated as he gestured to Solstice.
“This is the first major junction. There should be at least five vampires stationed here for guarding.” Joaquin thought as the first area is near them.
“It must be that they are just weak. If I lead her to where the other higher ranks are then she might end up dead and I will live. I just need to lead her to them.” Joaquin thought.
“I do not mind because I would have cut two of your arms if you were leading me astray. Now, if you want to keep them intact then you best lead the way.” Solstice stated.
The more vampires they encounter, the more blood that Solstice will get to spill. The foolish vampire Joaquin thought that he was leading her to her doom, but he was actually helping her become more powerful.
