Chapter 2561: Eridanus

“We will now proceed to summon the gateway then.” Adrian stated as he and Old Man Pann nodded in sync.

Adrian only needed Old Man Pann as an anchor as the gateway to a semi-divine realm needs something to hold it down. Divine realms can change courses or where they are rooted in and Eridanus is just like that. Adrian recited a fervent prayer to the moon and stars as the night suddenly got summoned in their own guild home.

All of the guild members were awestruck as they saw stars, planets, and even meteors in the background of the guild home. Adrian then called upon one of the stars that were raining down from above. The star responded to Adrian’s call and safely landed onto his hand. He then proceeded to inject divine energy into the star, and it slowly floated above.

With each feet the star floated, clear stairs made of starlight were created. The star then proceeded to explode into particles of light reminiscent of glitter scattering. When all of the starlight subsided, a door suddenly appeared at the end of the stairs. This door carried the power of the stars as it shined in the most beautiful shimmering lights.

[You have successfully summoned the entrance to Eridanus.]

“Somehow it was safely summoned.” Adrian exclaimed with relief as he thought that he made a mistake somewhere along the way.

“Can we all enter?” Solstice asked Adrian but the latter looked at the owner of the realm itself.

“Do you want to invite all of us?” Adrian asked the Baby Erebus.

“There is no problem seeing the beauty of the realm gifted to me. Let us go, mother.” The Baby Erebus stated as he nudged Solstice to lead the way.

Seeing Erebus was declared by their guild leader as the owner of the realm, all of them waited for him to go inside first along with Solstice and Lycan. Only when the three of them entered the door did the others follow suit. Adrian then gestured to Old Man Pann that he was going inside as well, and the latter just told him to hurry along.

[You have entered Eridanus.]

Adrian entered the semi-divine realm and was awestruck by the beauty of it all. Upon entering the realm, the first thing that one sees is a collection of stars and constellations. The ground itself was non-existent as all of them were literally walking on thin air. The relentless meteor shower also greeted all of them as each of the stars danced in the night sky as if they were putting a show just for them.

Adrian was carefully observing everything, and he also brought out the relics. As soon as he brought out the two relics, a faint resonance activated from within New Moon and Full Moon. The dead relics suddenly became revived, but they have yet to return to their peak. The real relic is the combination of the two after all.

“It is beautiful.” Adrian stated as there was another large heavenly body in Eridanus that is different from the rest.

At the horizon, a large, destroyed moon could be seen far off. It looked big but one could never reach it despite going near it. Space was bending away from anyone that dares to go close to the moon as if the owner wanted it to only be seen from afar. Adrian could feel it when he saw the broken moon as that is definitely pieces of the divine soul of a god or goddess.

“Is that what was left of the Goddess Mene?” Adrian asked as the Baby Erebus looked at the moon with a sad gaze.

“Yes. It is the remnants of my beloved or what is left of her divine soul. I thought that she would re-emerge and recover with time, but it seems that is just a fever dream. She is truly gone and looking at the moon proves it. It is also the reason why I am scared to even come back here as the answer is too hurtful to see with my own eyes.” The Baby Erebus stated.

“It is important to move one from the sorrows of the past. If we do not move on, then our happiness to which they sacrificed would be useless.” Solstice stated.

“Yes. I guess it is just my stubbornness getting in the way of moving on. Give me the relics, uncle. I shall proceed to fuse them.” The Baby Erebus stated but Adrian’s hairs suddenly sprung up as a powerful divine energy suddenly flared up in the area.

Adrian looked to the night sky to see it suddenly moving like a dress. A large woman made of night, and stars suddenly appeared before all of them. All of those that have weak persona had no choice but to bow down in reverence for the Goddess of the Night has come to them.

“Are you sure about this child?” The Goddess Nox asked Erebus.

“Yes, grandmother. It is better to use this realm once more to help people than to let it be stagnant and ever changing. I must strive myself to change because I have been reborn with a new life and a new family.” The Baby Erebus stated.

“Even if this realm and everything in it will disappear? Are you sure that you are ready, child?” The Goddess Nox asked once again.

“Yes. I am ready.” The Baby Erebus stated more determined than ever.

“If that is your wish child then I shall grant it.” The Goddess Nox stated as she called upon the New Moon relic and Full Moon relic.

The two relics suddenly twisted in the air as the energy of Eridanus got caught in a swirling vortex created by the Goddess Nox. The two relics absorbed all of the energy inside the realm which included the stars, the sky, and even the remnant moon. When all of the energy was sucked up, the two separated relic fused together to create the true creation relic of the Erebians which is the Dark Moon.
