Chapter 2615: Colossal Battle of Turtle and Alien
The High Star Spawn opened its large mouth that extended all the way towards its upper chest. Inside of the large mouth revealed more and more tentacles that each have their own separate little mouths. As soon as the High Star Spawn opened its large jaw, a large sonic boom erupted from it and delivered an area wide Dimensional Screech.
The Black Tortoise of the North immediately used up a powerful surge of water below the ground to slam it towards the High Star Spawn. The surge of water also blocked the Dimensional Screech but that also made it scatter in all directions. This meant that the mist barrier or what is left of it has been fully destroyed.
The Black Tortoise of the North immediately sent another message to Grand Master Fu Xi and the latter immediately moved. Grand Master Fu Xi told Peridot and Levin Cloud to follow him towards the large citadel behind the Black Tortoise of the North. They were now in the process of saving all of the people stranded in Black City.
“How can we even move them? We do not have Equinox with us for transport.” Levin Cloud stated as he could feel thousands of life forces on the base of the citadel.
“We will have to improvise once we get there.” Peridot stated as they ran towards their objective while the fight between two titanic monsters have started.
The Black Tortoise of the North once again blasted the High Star Spawn with its two breath attacks that used water and ice. Unlike before where the High Star Spawn just tanked the hit, it now slammed two of its large arms towards the ground where a rift suddenly formed. Inside the rift, countless abominations made of tendrils sprung out and blocked the attack of the Black Tortoise of the North.
Seeing that the High Star Spawn is now more powerful than it, the Black Tortoise of the North needed a more powerful approach, but it fears that it might also harm the citizens it is protecting. The Black Tortoise of the North suddenly paused which was not ideal in situations like these because that means it has lowered its defenses. The High Star Spawn seized this chance and charged towards the Black Tortoise of the North.
One would think that a large monster with sturdy arms and legs would run towards the Black Tortoise of the North, but reality is different. The High Star Spawn actually turned into a large puddle of unknown masses as its body reformed just as it was near the Black Tortoise of the North. This gave the Black Tortoise of the North quite a shock, but it was not enough to stun the latter in place.
The Black Tortoise of the North released a powerful freezing wind that instantly turned anything around it into ice. The body of the High Star Spawn that reformed started to have layers of frost as it got in contact with the Black Tortoise of the North. The High Star Spawn did not mind the pain because it has a duty, and it was to kill the Black Tortoise of the North.
The Black Tortoise of the North could not move from its location because it will expose the area it is protecting. The High Star Spawn did not know this and did not care as its body that was solid suddenly turned into something akin to plasma that heated up. The heated body of the High Star Spawn actually melted the ice that the Black Tortoise of the North created. The ice that the Black Tortoise of the North created could even put out fire, but the High Star Spawn burned hotter than what the former could freeze.
Seeing that both of their elemental attacks could not do anything to each other, the two colossal monsters immediately started their physical brawl. The first to strike was none other than the tail of the Black Tortoise of the North. The snake body tail of the Black Tortoise of the North lunged towards the High Star Spawn and bit its body. The tail of the Black Tortoise of the North does not have much physical attack, but it has a powerful corrosive poison that freezes the blood and body of any victim it bites.
The High Star Spawn was bitten by the Black Tortoise of the North’s tail, but it did not turn into an icicle. The poison of the Black Tortoise of the North’s tail is the coldest thing that can be injected into any living being. Even gods fear the venom of the Black Tortoise of the North’s tail which is why Kami decided to attack it last. The bitten area of the High Star Spawn could be seen turning into ice as expected but the owner of the body just sliced that off like it was nothing.

“Is everybody here?” Grand Master Fu Xi asked as he has arrived towards the citadel with Peridot and Levin Cloud.
“Grand Master! Our deity has told us to follow you!” The guard captain of Black City stated as she bowed to Grand Master Fu Xi.
“Is this all of you?” Grand Master Fu Xi asked but it was Levin Cloud that answered.
“There are people underground. It seems to be a shelter.” Levin Cloud stated as he could feel the breath of life below his feet.
“Yes. The young master is correct.” The guard captain stated in shock.
“Are there no passages that we can use? I am sure that there should be secret passages that can be used here.” Grand Master Fu Xi stated as the citadel suddenly started to rumble because the fight between the two monsters were still happening.
“The passages that we could use were all destroyed by those fiendish cultivators. We are now trapped here because of that, and our deity could only choose to ask you for help when we found that out. Black City was attacked early on by an advance group, but we managed to kill all of them. The only problem is that they also destroyed all of our exits.” The guard captain stated.
“I do not suppose that one of you can create a portal or ask the mediator to create his portal here.” Grand Master Fu Xi stated.
“We cannot contact him.” Peridot stated.
“The beast outside is emitting a powerful aura that destabilizes the dimension. Even if we could contact Equinox, he will not be able to create a portal here in this area.” Levin Cloud stated.
“If we escape using the traditional route then I cannot protect all of them. Even with the guards, they will not be able to defend this number of people.” Grand Master Fu Xi stated.
“I can transport them to a safer place. It will not be comfortable though.” Levin Cloud stated as he raised his hand.
“You mean… you are going to use that? I thought you only placed that because it was just a lucky ceremony for you.” Peridot stated as Grand Master Fu Xi looked at them in a dumbfounded expression.
“Even he places a special teleportation magic circle in place just in case he needs to use it. He barely uses it because he either dies or lives in his fights.” Levin Cloud stated.
“I am lost. Can someone explain the situation?” Grand Master Fu Xi asked.
“I have a method of transporting the people, but it would be through the use of the earth itself. Tell me, are any of the people here allergic to pollen?” Levin Cloud asked as the entire citadel suddenly started to vibrate fiercely as the top part of it has been destroyed.
“I do not care if they are allergic. You can just heal them after we have transported them. Go and do it!” Grand Master Fu Xi shouted in panic as half of the citadel has been destroyed.
“On it.” Levin Cloud stated as he scattered seeds to the ground and pumped them up with life energy.
“We need to create a barrier for this area. We just need it to hold until we transport all of them.” Grand Master Fu Xi stated as he looked at Peridot.
“Understood.” Peridot replied as she immediately reinforced the base area and the underground shelter.

“Ohoh! It seems that all of your allies or rather some of them have died because they got caught in the fight.” Eldritch stated but his mouth was not in the usual place because he has already transformed into a Star Spawn.
“Shut up and die!” Tai shouted as he saw that some of the immortals that went towards the location of the Black Tortoise of the North have been frozen to death.
The Black Tortoise of the North did not even mean to kill them, but they were unfortunate as they were not able to defend themselves. They were just collateral damage from the fight between the two beasts. Tai wanted to run away but he could not as Eldritch was hell bent in keeping him there.
