Omega Summoner - Chapter 2620: Could Not Comprehend

Chapter 2620: Could Not Comprehend
Eldritch did not expect that when he saw the darkness cover the area would be the last thing he sees. He did not even feel the attack coming as the darkness enveloped everything and killed him instantly. He has never experienced a spell that was a silent killer but that is what he was hit by.
The Helheim spell is a manifestation of the darkness of Helheim that kills quickly and in secret. It is a darkness that even those that live in Helheim are afraid of. It is also one of the most powerful darkness elemental spells that are incredibly difficult to control. This spell would sometimes run amok and kill the spell caster and all those swallowed in darkness.
It took Eldritch quite some time to process that he was killed by someone he looked down upon again. When it finally hit that he was killed, the gaming pod detected elevated anger levels and ejected him from it. He then proceeded to scream and throw a tantrum in his own room.
“I will kill that broad when I see her again!” Eldritch shouted as all the servants in his mansion home pretended to not hear his outburst again.

[You have killed a player.]
[No experience will be given and no penalty as well because you killed a player that is aligned to an opposite faction.]
“He did not even drop any item upon death that I could sell to recover the losses that I got from using six mythical tier spells against him.” Peridot stated as she proceeded to check the area where Eldritch was killed.
Even at his death, Peridot did not know that she killed Eldritch as his player name was obscured. All she knew is that she killed an annoying loudmouth of a player that wanted the drops of the Black Tortoise of the North. Seeing that there is nothing she could pick up from the area where Eldritch died, Peridot turned her back and proceeded to get the drops from the Black Tortoise of the North.
Peridot did not notice that Eldritch’ body suddenly turned into a weird plant that created a spike using his own spine. It then fired off this spine to pierce her chest as it is meant to target where the heart of another being is located. Even in death, Eldritch does not want to succumb to defeat but all of this is just AI controlled and not him directly.
The spike was fired at breakneck speed that Peridot noticed too late. She was about to hit by the spike spine, but time suddenly froze. Peridot did not notice time freezing because she was also affected by it as well. Peridot could only move and be aware of the surroundings after the fact that she saw the spike spine explode into smaller fragments.
“You should really be more careful against those things. It was a good thing that I checked in on you upon Levin Cloud’s request.” Adrian stated as he was the one that arrived to save Peridot from harm.
“I would not have died even if that hit anyways.” Peridot stated as an excuse.
“It took me using a skill to stop time and shattering space to destroy that one. It would have pierced your skin even if it is made of dragon scales.” Adrian stated as he could still feel the resistance of that spike spine.
“Okay… okay. Thank you but how did you find me here? Also, how did you even come here? I thought you cannot teleport to this area directly.” Peridot asked.
“I sensed the only life force present in the area which is only you. Also, I was able to teleport because the thing that created a resistance has vanished. Maybe the Black Tortoise of the North also exuded a powerful aura that makes space stretch or be filled. I do not want to say that it dying is what made me able to come here but that is the case. Or is there another being that can alter space that came here?” Adrian asked as he does not know the context of the situation.
All Adrian knew is that he arrived at the location where Black City is located only for him to be greeted with rubble and destruction. The area looked like it was destroyed by numerous natural calamities as there were burns, water deterioration, cracked earth, lightning strikes, a straight scorch mark like, and this heavy aura as if darkness descended. He also noticed that Peridot was out of mana and would like die against an enemy if she was attacked again.
“There was this lunatic that could summon monsters that looked weird and disturbing but I killed him using six mythical tier spells.” Peridot stated which shocked Adrian.
Adrian could not believe that a player could tank six mythical tier spells in face value like that. To make matters even more incomprehensible, Peridot is the one using those spells which means they are powerful and stable. Even Adrian admits that it would only take two mythical tier spells to kill him if Peridot was serious. This meant that whoever that player that Peridot encountered is incredibly powerful.
“He had an aura of a demigod, but he was in a weakened state. I think he used up his life saving skill when the Black Tortoise of the North plunged this place into a state of frost.” Peridot stated as she has no idea who is the player she killed.
“A player has already unlocked being a demigod?! Was it Tai?” Adrian asked.
“Nope. It was not Tai as he did not wear an oni mask and the player I killed was wearing a hood. The hood practically creates a shadow on his face which I was unable to see properly. Should I have identified him? Maybe I was wrong in thinking that I only need to kill him. I should have investigated more when he survived the first mythical tier spell I used.” Peridot stated as she felt worried that she was not prepared for the future.
“Do not beat yourself about that thing as you were pre-occupied in taking the items you need. I heard it from the Seer of the Black Tortoise of the North. She said that she asked for your help in taking the items that their deity will drop upon its death. We will worry about that lunatic you spoke off when you get attacked in the middle of a city by an unknown player.” Adrian stated as his last sentence was meant to joke about Peridot’s worries.
“I guess that would more effective. Help me move it then as there is something that even I do not want to dare touch.” Peridot stated as she called Adrian over as well.
Both of them arrived at the two remaining items that Peridot did not pick up. One of the items is a small turtle shell that is black in color. This should be the item that can be used for the revival of the Black Tortoise of the North. Another item is more abstract as it was an orb that has mist inside of it but it glitched every second or so. When Peridot tried touching it earlier, she got zapped by an unknown energy and suddenly found herself in another dimension entirely. When she dropped the orb, she returned back to the main world as if she just flickered in and out of the dimension.
Learning of the thing that Peridot experienced, Adrian immediately wanted to check this item out. He then proceeded to pick up this orb and wanted to see if he would also be transported to another realm, but he did not. He even waited for a minute but only silence happened as he stared into Peridot’s eyes.
“I was not lying!” Peridot insisted and Adrian believed her.
“Maybe it cannot transport me because I am a demon. What do you think, Paradox?” Adrian stated as he asked his weapon on what its thoughts were on the item.
Paradox proceeded to swirl around the item and then proceeded to conjure up a mouth from mana. It then gulped the item Adrian was carrying in one full swipe which made its master and Peridot dumbfounded. After a few seconds, Adrian finally realized what Paradox has done and tried to take out what it ate.
“Take it out! You should not be eating things that I casually ask you about.” Adrian stated as he held Paradox, but it refused to cooperate.
“Master does not need to worry. Paradox only took something that will nourish it and make it more compatible with the host.” Paradox stated in its monotone robotic voice.
“Are you sure?” Adrian asked.
Paradox did not reply but made a mana construct of a thumbs up. Seeing that Paradox had no visible changes or risk of exploding, Adrian let it go as he just thought of it as a treat for his favorite weapon in the world. He would have lost his mind if he ever knew that it was the Essence Boundary.
