With the disappearance of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong and the Monkey King Adrian, the pressure on the battlefield lessened. This prompted the halted attacks from both sides to continue as they were before. The army of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong attacked fiercely as they were promised autonomy if they were to wipe out the enemies of their reviver.
The Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong even promised this to them which meant that this would come true as long as they carried its orders well. Gods must never utter promises that they cannot keep for it will destroy their own divine souls if not kept. Even if the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong is now part distorted god, it must abide by the rules or risk the damaging power of providence.

The first of the revived Demonic Generals that found her target was none other than the Fallen Goddess Nuba. She is now in a form that makes use of her immense power over drought and suffering. She did not even bother to hide her flaming snake lower half as she found the ones that killed her when she was just revived the first time.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba thought that she would never find them but one of them managed to absorbed her flames. The fire elemental child that defeated her flames back then was immediately sensed by the Fallen Goddess Nuba. The Fallen Goddess Nuba did not expect that a mere elemental will be able to absorb her heat but it also made it easy for her to track her offenders.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba took on the form of a large flaming serpent as she charged towards them. She did not care who she clashes with along the way as she would burn both friend or foe that gets in her way. She no longer needs to care about subordinates because she has already gained the strength of a Greater God even though she felt that some of her strength is restricted.
“GET OUT OF MY WAY!” The Fallen Goddess Nuba shouted as she opened her flaming fangs in an attempt to swallow Soleil whole.
Soleil is taken by surprise as the speed of the Fallen Goddess Nuba is no longer the same as it was before. The Fallen Goddess Nuba believed that she had won and actually targeted Soleil first. She believed that this young elemental has a secret to her body and might be able to turn her into a High Goddess. If she gains the power of a high goddess then she might be able to break the chains of slavery imposed on her by the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.
Just as the Fallen Goddess Nuba was about to swallow Soleil, a fierce cry of a bird could be heard instantly. Flaming talons suddenly swooped in and took the Fallen Goddess Nuba by the neck. The one that saved Soleil was none other than the Vermillion Bird. The Vermillion Bird might not be as powerful as the current Fallen Goddess Nuba but it is not so weak that it cannot stand against the fallen goddess.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba and the Vermillion Bird started to wrestle in the air as it felt embarrassing for the latter to be truly treated like a snake. The Fallen Goddess Nuba always believed that she is a dragoness that is waiting to shed her snake form but a bird suddenly swooping in and wrestling her made the image of her as a snake firmer. She always hated being treated like a snake even though she really has the blood of a snake primordial beast in her body courtesy of her forced transformation by the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.
The threat to her daughter activated the bloodlust hiding inside of Vayu though. He also sensed the killing intent of the Fallen Goddess Nuba but he was too occupied with several enemies to run towards his daughter. Vayu almost despaired as his daughter was almost devoured by a beast but he felt a bit relieved when he saw the Vermillion Bird suddenly aid save Soleil. Still, the anger in his heart is not yet quenched and he knew that the Vermillion Bird alone cannot defeat the Fallen Goddess Nuba.
“Altum, I need you to help the Vermillion Bird. Your attacks are the only thing that can deal significant damage to that fallen goddess. Amelia, I believe you can deal with these people that will interrupt the fight against the Fallen Goddess Nuba. Killing her would significantly decrease the fighting power of the current enemy. Blade will help you in culling down the enemies as well.” Vayu stated.
“What are you going to do?” Amelia asked as she was curious.
“I am going to summon the storm. Altum needs water to become overpowered after all.” Vayu stated with a smile that contained infinite killing intent but he made sure to keep his face calm. It only made his fury a bit more terrifying though.
“Okay. I can make those arrangements. I always wanted to test out the skill I got when I advanced my race to a higher Persona.” Amelia agreed.
“I am going to help in defending Soleil as well while you are gathering the clouds, sensei.” Blade stated.
“On it!” Altum replied as he ran towards the direction where the Fallen Goddess Nuba and the Vermillion Bird crashed.
Vayu thanked all of them as he suddenly turned into clouds that swirled upwards. Vayu held his sword in a horizontal manner and concentrated. His body that is almost illusory suddenly started to turn purely into wind. The physical body vanished along with everything in his existence but with it came the dark clouds and heavy winds.
“You cannot defeat me, bird! I am stronger than you now!” The Fallen Goddess Nuba cried.
“If I am a bird, then you know what happens to snakes when faced with them.” The Vermillion Bird replied which increased the anger of the Fallen Goddess Nuba.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba was about to enter her rage mode when the skies suddenly thundered and rain started pouring. The presence of the Fallen Goddess Nuba makes the entire place dry but rain was suddenly pouring in an area where she is present. This should not be possible unless another being that could manipulate the weather appeared but she knows that Fujin and Raijin were not in the area.
The dark clouds thundered once again and lightning now accompanied it. When the lightning it up the skies, a large figure of a man that the Fallen Goddess Nuba recognizes could be seen. It was one of the children of Izanagi and Izanami. The children that forsake their parents when they learned of their betrayal to the Huanglong.
“Impossible! Their divine sparks were crushed to dust! It cannot be!” The Fallen Goddess Nuba muttered as she knew this power over storms.
The Vermillion Bird did not care for the reaction of the Fallen Goddess Nuba though as it blasted the latter with flames. The Fallen Goddess Nuba did not take much damage though as flames do not really hurt her as much. Just as the Fallen Goddess Nuba was about to counter attack by making her tail pierce the Vermillion Bird, a large and heavy object suddenly slammed towards her tail. A piercing scream could be heard from the Fallen Goddess Nuba as it seems that Altum managed to crack a bone.
“AHHH!” The Fallen Goddess Nuba screamed as the piercing cold energy suddenly felt familiar.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba twisted her neck to see the familiar fish humanoid creature that is swinging a gigantic anchor. The piercing cold that she actually hates made the Fallen Goddess Nuba squirm uncontrollably and force herself to be free from the clutches of the Vermillion Bird. She could not easily escape which is why she burned her precious divine energy to turn her body into pure flames that gathered in another area.
“YOU FORCED ME TO DO THIS!” The Fallen Goddess Nuba shouted as her body reformed to a half human and half flaming snake.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba then released her divine energy into the area which quickly increased the heat and even the wet ground itself dried up. She was not only emitting intense heat but also absorbing the moisture in the area which in turn raises the humidity even more. Her mastery over drought is now being used to the point that the rain itself becomes steam when in contact with her domain.
“I AM THE GODDESS OF DROUGHT! Do you think that I will be scared of some water!” The Fallen Goddess Nuba screamed as she touched one of her allies.
The Fallen Goddess Nuba then absorbed everything from her ally including which turned the poor being into a dried corpse. She did not say it but she needed to absorb the life force of others in order to replenish the divine energy that she burned from using her domain. Unlike before, the domain that she used is now the real one and it is more powerful than the one she used before.
