It seems that what Adrian stated has resonated with all of the children there as they seem to have expectations set upon them. Telos is just like them but the difference is that his parents never imposed that he should be good at something. He was just sent there because he needed to learn but the others were sent to school to carry a burden already passed to them despite being children.

Even though some of them were told to steer clear from the hybrid. The children had already had this budding impression that Telos is someone that they can talk to without any judgement. Adrian just said this casually but that is actually what the real Telos has also done. Still, this is his unrecorded history after all as there would be more to the story to follow.

After eating lunch, all of them were sent to do the last activity of school and that is Mana Training. The teacher for Mana Training is actually a god that even Adrian knows of. This was none other than the God of Sleep Hypnos. He did not change as much compared to his present form because he still floats in a bed made of clouds.

“Everyone, let us get this over with so I can sleep once again. Mana is present in all forms of beings because it is what functions as energy for the body. For mortals, running out of mana is not a death sentence but being unable to regenerate it back is. I do not expect you children to have perfect handling of your mana so just explore what you can do at this time.” The God of Sleep Hypnos stated as he released his domain.

“Awesome!” Adrian exclaimed as this is basically a very good training ground for children that cannot perfectly control mana.

Mana is not something that one can control instantly and often times children are a danger to themselves and to others. This field basically enables the children to freely explore what their mana can do without fear that they will be a danger to others. Adrian immediately tried to fill his arm with mana using body strengthening and it did not explode from the immense mana.

“Hey, you! Just because you cannot be damaged… it does not mean you can go crazy and do crazy stunts that can destroy one of your limbs!” The God of Sleep Hypnos stated as he glared at Adrian.

“Sorry!” Adrian replied as he once again tried circulating mana in his body.

Adrian circulated the mana in his body perfectly but the problem is when he tried to project it outwards. He could not release mana the normal way as his mana will just be reabsorbed back into his body. He does not know why he has a body like this but this must be the first trial for this job class as it means he needs to find a way to use mana outwardly.

“How am I going to do summoning magic when I cannot even push mana out my own body? Wait? Does summoning magic exist at this timeline?!” Adrian thought as he then looked towards his friends.

Boulder did not even do mana training but he is doing sleep training. He could be seen dozing off while seated and he even turned his back from the teacher so that he will not be noticed. Adrian wanted to warn Boulder but the teacher is the God of Sleep Hypnos and that guy love sleeping more than teaching. The fact that Boulder is not being woken up means that the God of Sleep Hypnos does not mind at all.

“I did it!” Bloom stated as she managed to create a small ball of mana.

“Wow! Congrats! You made a mana ball which is actually much better than me. My mana backfired when I tried to release it.” Adrian stated which alerted Bloom.

“Your mana backfired! Had you been checked by the teacher?! That could be life threatening.” Bloom stated in worry.

“Nope. I am fine because my own mana cannot hurt me unless I overuse it. Also, this space does not let us get harmed at all. I actually wanted to ask you another question.” Adrian stated.

“Sure! This big sis managed to conjure up a mana ball! Ask away!” Bloom stated as she let go of her worry once she heard what Adrian said. She also seems keen on being called big sister when she is a foot shorter than him but she is older by a year.

“Is there something like summoning magic?” Adrian asked.

“Summoning magic? You mean magic that summons things like from outer space. The Daemos are known for summoning meteors and the like.” Bloom stated.

“Not that summoning magic. I mean like magic that lets one summon beasts or monsters to fight for them.” Adrian added.

“Are you really fine? Are you sure that the mana backfiring did not mess with your brain? Magic that can summon beasts or monsters do not exist. Also, why would beasts and monsters fight for you? There are magics used for subjugation like what Beast Masters use but that is controlling rather than summoning.” Bloom stated.

“There is no magic that can tie a monster to one’s soul like a companion and then be summon from a special place in their soul? The summoned monster is basically tied to the summoner and will be immortal as long as the summoner is not dead.” Adrian stated.

“What kind of godly magic is that?! If something like that existed then it would twist the rules of life and death.” Bloom replied as she found it quite impossible for the summoning magic that Adrian has described.

“Does this mean that I can only finish this quest if I create summoning magic?” Adrian thought as he found himself a headache of a job class advancement.
