“That means that it is possible to combine the souls of other beings to a host. If that is true, will there be problems during the process since both souls will be vulnerable.” Adrian followed up.

“Will the two souls clash in this covenant? If so, can creating a magic circle related to the soul make it safer.” The God of Death Hades added.

“Apologies for his sudden question about souls. He can see them clearly with his eyes which is why he is very curious about it. He always asks the gods of life that he encounters about souls but it seems his curiosity extended to the gods of death as well.” Iremia stated as she brought the refreshments.

“No worries as it is quite refreshing to hear such a question. Even though we guide and manage the souls of the dead, this is the first time that someone asked us about the qualities and characteristics of souls. I will gift this scroll to this smart child. You can use it to ask me one question a day and I will definitely answer it.” The God of Death Orcus stated as he really did find it very intriguing.

“Thank you!” Adrian stated as he bowed.

Adrian knew that the two gods of death came to their house since they were talking to his father. He did not want to intrude any longer as it might delay the important thing that they are about to talk about. It is a good thing that the God of Death Orcus gave him an enchanted scroll where he can ask a question a day. He might be able to research on the creation of summoning magic faster with this.

“Mom, where can I find people that are knowledgeable about magic contracts and even covenants?” Adrian asked.

“You seem really interested about those things lately. I guess you really put your mind to it once you have decided. Then again, I guess it is better than you sulking at the corner of your room because you cannot use magic spells.” Iremia stated as Adrian also got a glimpse of Telos’ insecurities.

Telos has lots of mana and a strong soul but he cannot form spells like other children. Fortunately, the school that he is attending is not based on grades but focused on nurturing others. He can use normal physical strengthening magic since he can use his bod as a medium but he cannot use spells to project mana outwardly. Each time Telos uses his mana outwards, the spell will just reverse back to his body but he will be unhurt.

“I got nothing better to do. I do not want to go outside because I will just create another commotion.” Adrian stated as he saw incidents in the memories.

Whenever Telos goes outside, critters and even some sentient plants would follow him. It was like he became a leader of the herd and those creatures would then cause panic to some people. The neighborhood kids would always try to hug some of the creatures which leads to the entire entourage becoming agitated. This is one of the reasons why Telos has gotten a body guard like his other friends.

“Well, if you want to know about that then you are in luck. Your father decided to take us to Zion with him. It seems that your friends will be there too as their parents will likely attend a gathering there.” Iremia stated.

“What is Zion? Where is it?” Adrian asked as this is suddenly a new place that he does not know.

“Zion is basically a place where all the great minds of the world gather to discuss. It is also a place that is very advanced unlike our town here. You can say that Zion is like a city where all other races go to in order to do trade, deals, and share stories. It is also where the main temple of the Twin Gods is located.” Iremia replied.

“In that case, should I start packing?” Adrian asked as he suddenly got a notification that he needs to pack his stuff for the actual travel to start.

“It seems that you are excited. Pack some clothes but we will also do some shopping there so just pack light.” Iremia stated with a smile.

“Okay!” Adrian replied as he dashed towards his room to start packing as he needed to pack quickly to proceed with the next phase.

Adrian is a bit giddy because he wants to see this place called Zion as it seems to be something akin to a utopia. If the main temple of the Twin Gods is there then there should be very important people there. It would be the best place to ask about things related to souls and contracts. He might even get the clue in creating Summoning Magic there.

“Still, Telos has a life that is quite difficult.” Adrian thought as he saw every memory he needs to know about Telos.

Telos might be smart and have his head figured out but others still see him as a failure. The fact that he cannot even use the most basic spell called magic missile meant that he can never use conventional magic at all. His friends, Boulder and Bloom, had manifested their talent like he said and shined brightly. Still, Boulder and Bloom always treated Telos like an equal because he was the one that recognized their talents in the first place.

“Kururu!” Vio exclaimed as he jumped inside of the bag that Adrian was preparing.

“Do you want to come too?” Adrian asked.

“I am your loyal knight! I shall accompany you wherever you go! Kururu!” Vio replied which made Adrian smile.

Adrian immediately knew that Vio must be one of the soulbounds that Telos has. The way their souls resonated with each other meant that Vio should be Telos’ first soulbound. He does not know how that process happens but Adrian is sure that this is the case.
