Omega Summoner - Chapter 2810: The Origin of Summoning Magic VII

Chapter 2810: The Origin of Summoning Magic VII
Adrian felt his ears ringing as his eyes suddenly became harder to open. The guards managed to arrive in time but even they were unable to fend off the attack entirely. The surge of miasma that was released made a lot of people injured. He is also one of them as his head could be seen to suffer some form of bleeding.
“The bleeding is not heavy as it seems some debris just hit my head.” Adrian stated as he immediately started to scan his surroundings but his heart dropped when he saw Vio lying on the ground.
Vio could be seen heavily injured and struggling to breathe which made Adrian blank out for a moment. It seems that Telos’ emotions are also affecting him because sadness and rage overwhelmed him. Even though he wanted to help Vio, he is unable to do so because he does not have any healing abilities.
“Young Master, it seems that you are injured. Let us go to a healer immediately. Please grab onto me as we will teleport out of here.” Pyli stated as he clutched his side.
“You are injured as well! You need urgent care and you cannot teleport in your condition right now.” Adrian stated as the injury on Pyli was not something he can brush off.
The injury that Pyli sustained covered his entire body and he was even bleeding heavily on his side. The miasma even penetrated his skin which means that this kind of miasma is so powerful that it could kill others instantly. Adrian immediately knew that Pyli must have shielded him with his own body. Vio must have done the same as it looked like it also shielded Telos from being damaged.
“We cannot do that, young master. They are still currently containing the threat that arose. We need to teleport you out of here even if it costs me my life. This is the reason that I was assigned as your bodyguard.” Pyli stated as he swallowed the pain.
“No. You were not chosen to be my bodyguard to throw your life away for me. If you die here then I will be put in danger. You cannot teleport in your condition as it is dangerous for all of us. Vio cannot move as well as his body is now in shock. The power of that blast earlier created so much destruction. We need to clear out of this place first. Come on!” Adrian stated as he carried Vio gently and ran further from the current area where the battle is ongoing.
Pyli had no choice but to comply but used his wings as shields to defend Telos from any other threats that might come out. Another powerful blast of miasma is sent out and it would have reached their current location but the wave of energy suddenly froze in place. Three Asmodian Daemos arrived at the scene which seems to be the elders and one of them was Telos’ father.
Arhizo, Telos’ father, then clutched his hands and the wave of miasma suddenly reversed back to the source. The Apostle of Lu-Kthu suddenly got injured as all of the miasma reversed back into its body. Another Asmodian Daemos that looked like a Djinn then clasped her hands and she folded the space before her. The Apostle of Lu-Kthu felt the danger to its life and tried to escape from the area but the Asmodian Daemos that is of the Diabolon slammed it back down.
The spell that folded space trapped the Apostle of Lu-Kthu and it could not escape. The Apostle of Lu-Kthu emitted some sort of words that no one understood before it was crushed into a flat pulp. The Apostle of Lu-Kthu died in a matter of seconds and silence returned to the area. The three Asmodian Daemos then casted a powerful time reversal spell that restored the area back to its original look.
The only things that they could not restore are the injuries that the civilians occurred and the lives of those that died. The miasma penetrated all of the civilians that were hit and even powerful temporal magic cannot reverse the effects. Adrian is in shock that even Time Reversal cannot get rid of the miasma that affected all of them. At this rate, they would need divine intervention in order to heal everyone present there.
As if the gods read Adrian’s mind, ten gods of life suddenly came floating down and released a powerful surge of life energy. The entire area got purified with miasma and those with injuries are healed. Even Adrian’s head injury is healed completely which made it look like he was not injured in the first place. Pyli also looked a bit better but the healing done by the gods of life did not completely heal everything.
“It seems that the miasma has seeped into your internal organs, Pyli. You will need a dedicated healer for your injuries. Vio is also the same as his soul is now teetering between life and death. Let us hurry to my father and get aid for both you and me.” Adrian stated as he was about to run towards his father when he noticed that his lower body froze in place.
“Why are you here?! Are you injured?” Arhizo suddenly appeared next to them without them even noticing. Even an Arch Demon like Pyli did not notice space shifting when an Asmodian Daemos teleported. This information would have shocked Adrian and he wanted to learn more but Vio is about to die and he must do something.
“Father! We were just searching for things in the market when that thing came. Pyli managed to shield me from the initial blast which led to his current injuries. He would need dedicated healing as the miasma entered his internal organs. Vio needs immediate healing as he is dying and his soul is becoming weak.” Adrian stated and he thought he was calm but he actually looked like a distressed kid.
“Calm down, my son. Father is here now. Can you move, Pyli?” Arhizo stated but he clearly looked worried.
“I can master. I was healed by the healing wave earlier as my injuries were more grievous but I can function normally.” Pyli replied.
“Do not lie, Pyli. I can see the miasma trying to eat away at your soul and it looks disgusting. Have it purified immediately or you might lose some memories at this rate.” Adrian stated as he knows what miasma can do to a soul.
“Thank you for thinking about me, young master. But…” Pyli stated but Arhizo interjected.
“You must do as my son says, Pyli. We treat you like family as well since you have been guarding my son for a few years now. If my son that can see souls says it looks dangerous and needs to be purified immediately then you should do it. Come, let us return to the tower as there should be healer that can purify that miasma.” Arhizo stated as he created a portal.
“Are you not going to check on the area, father?” Adrian asked as he saw that the other Asmodians also came to check.
“They can handle it on their own as my priority is now you. I have already told them that I saw you and would return you back to your mother. We also need you to get checked as we do not know if you got infected with something.” Arhizo stated with a serious face which made Adrian immediately think that this was not the first time this happened.
All of them vanished with Adrian caressing Vio as he is also out cold. Pyli also looked like he cannot create portals without suffering backlash as the miasma did leak even to his soul. Fortunately, Telos’ father came and escorted them back to the tower but they were sent directly to the infirmary.
Telos, Pyli, and Vio were all checked out by the most powerful healer there which is a goddess of life. Pyli was advised to rest for a moment as lots of miasma was purged inside his body and he needed rest. Adrian got checked and was cleared since he was not hit by the miasma unlike the other two. Vio, on the other hand, has one foot inside the grave as even the goddess of life told him that the powerful miasma directly damaged his soul.
“He has a few days of living at most.” The goddess of life stated which made Adrian feel shattered.
“Thank goodness! You are fine!” Iremia shouted as she hugged Telos while having tears on her eyes. It seems that she just received the news and charged towards the infirmary upon learning it from her husband.
“I am fine, mother. Both Pyli and Vio saved me but now… Vio is about to die.” Adrian stated as he started to cry as Telos also cried at this point in time. Vio is more than just a pet to Telos as it has grown with him.
