“I don’t think I can get tired,” he said simply, before adding after a brief pause, “And I needed to keep watch in case something happened.”

Both Emilia and Celeste understood exactly what he meant without needing any further explanation.

And while they appreciated what he was doing for them, there was still a clear hint of worry in their expressions, knowing that constantly staying alert like this wasn’t exactly normal.

“Next time, I’ll be the one to watch,” Emilia spoke up, nodding to herself as she summoned her scepter in one smooth motion, clearly determined, “I can handle anything that comes our way.”

Leon glanced at her for a brief moment before smiling lightly, not arguing against her words.

“Sure,” he replied simply.

With that, the three of them prepared to leave the room, their short break now coming to an end as they stepped outside.
