Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights - Chapter 199: Build The Demon

Chapter 199: Build The Demon
’Godfrey.’ Godfrey heard a voice in his head.
“Gabriel?”
’I sensed your mana signature. Many will be on their way there, so I think it’s time to return home.’
A tear appeared before Godfrey. He looked back, thinking about Isolde, who said she would come back. Right now, making sure Isaac and Lucy were attended to was his priority. As he went through the space tear, Godfrey had no idea Isolde’s apartment was surrounded by agents and they had broken in.
They knew Isolde could teleport and were breaking down wherever she might have dropped Godfrey. His mission to save his friends had allowed him to escape a clash with the authorities.
Meanwhile, opposite the street, a man clad in black robes hid in the darkness, right behind the street lamps. If one could get close, they would see the full image of a black moon on this man’s forehead.
The man looked like he was in his sixties with a long gray beard, but his body was still muscular and fit, nothing like his aged face.
’I guessed the clash of Divine Tiers I felt might have been him. It’s alright, I know who else to go after.’ The man melded with the darkness and left.

A few hours later, several black cars were parked outside the construction site with several dozen agents investigating the scene. The rumbling clouds Isaac heard had their fill of rumbling and began to rain.
Mr. Manhattan stood facing his son’s corpse while Superintendent Bram held an umbrella over his head.
A summoner’s summon conjured faint images through lingering auras, allowing them to see what happened. Mr. Manhattan watched his son get beaten and clawed to death.
All of them turned to the image of Godfrey walking away.
“He didn’t touch him.” An agent said and received a glare from Mr. Manhattan that made him shiver.
“He used my son’s innate skill against him.” Mr. Manhattan spat with fury and bloodshot eyes.
’I’ll revive him with your own mother’s summon.’ After saying this internally, Mr. Manhattan stormed out of the construction site and entered his vehicle.
As he sat in the back seat, a woman dressed in a different type of attire of which her coat, which had a double row of silver buttons, was white, turned to face him.
She also wore a beret, but her face was so enchanting, doubtlessly men couldn’t resist the urge to stop looking. Even if Earth’s top-looking women were to gather, Nerissa would still stand out.
Her exceptional looks and charm were basically an innate skill.
“My lord.” Nerissa said reverently.
Mr. Manhattan, whose eyes were bloodshot with anger, looked at her. “Who are yo—?” He froze, and his posture changed.
All that anger vanished, and he crossed one leg over the other and leaned back, with both hands resting on his knee. A natural air of authority radiated off him.
“Nerissa.” Mr. Manhattan said, but with a neutral tone. It didn’t sound like the same Mr. Manhattan whose emotions were still fresh from the death of his son.
“Apologies for your loss.”
“It’s just a son. I have thousands of them around the world, some with better use. We’ll continue to widen the rift between him and the others until he fully turns against mankind.” Mr. Manhattan said as he looked out the black-tinted window, exhaling softly.
“Make sure you frame him and his friends for this and do not stop until it’s the most popular thing on the Internet. We’ll let the people build the demon that will slaughter them.” He said with a detached tone.
“And they’ll see you as their savior once you bring him down.” Nerissa smiled.
“He’ll be a greater evil, and I naturally need to stop him, take his army, and start an empire that will span multiple worlds. I have set my eyes on conquering the mana tree. I shall decide the laws.” Mr. Manhattan said to himself with a low tone.
“How long until we acquire the Primal Stag’s heart? I can only access this body, and my grasp is already slipping.” He asked Nerissa, who smiled beautifully.
“Soon. The genie is able to grant wishes once more, and I told him just what kind of wish I want. It will surely get us the woman.”
Mr. Manhattan had a pleased expression after what Nerissa said, but she spoke again. “Great Lord, I have a few concerns. How sure are we that the likes of Adam is dead? He was a menace while he remained on earth, he might hinder our plans to expand. Do you think he’s really dead?”
“Do you know what exists outside earth, Nerissa? Paragons, Progenitors, proclaimed gods. Adam is just a simple-minded man with brute strength. Such an attribute is worthless. He can’t break through everything.”

With a mischievous scowl, an eight-feet-tall monkey with dark orange fur, a golden ornate headband and an armour from its neck down to its feet, lifted his staff up and the staff grew in size.
It grew so large, it pierced through the gray skies, and the monkey swung it down. The staff, still growing bigger, tore through the atmosphere, descending with large amounts of flames and crushed a gray-skinned being with horns and no eyes.
It didn’t stop there. The staff shattered mountains, devastated the sea, wrecking a continent in a single mischievous blow. And this was the continent of a world with much more mana, meaning their land was much stronger than earth, over three times.
Almost instantaneously, the staff returned to a normal size, and the monkey summon held it over his neck, scratching a spot behind his ear while looking at the sky.
His fiery golden eyes could pierce through the clouds to great heights, where the projection of some beings close to the top of the mana tree watched.
Chuckling softly, Adam fused with the Monkey King, pointed his staff at them. “You gods are next on my bucket list.”
Achoo!
He rubbed his nose. ’You have to be kidding me.’
He grumbled like an old man about his sneezing once more, like he didn’t just kill a being beyond a paragon. He had just killed the Progenitor of the Eyeless Demon Race and grumbled about sneezing being a tougher opponent over his grave.
