Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights - Chapter 215: New Mission

Chapter 215: New Mission
Lysander was currently his most powerful knight, with Dirge who had finally risen to 14.0, her peak, right behind him.
Her ability to grow through absorbing life force ensured her fast growth. This was one of the reasons unique summons that could grow through alternative means aside from dungeon cores were more coveted.
Having such a summon meant owning the advantage of fast growth.
“I practically gained just 10 percent Symbiosis from you, Lysander. I don’t know if it’s because you’re different or my Symbiosis will just get smaller and smaller.” Godfrey clenched his fist and loosened it.
“I’ll have to aim for the title of king. Unlocking the next knight should make me a Crown Prince. Maybe my connection with the castle will get stronger from there and once I access Symbiosis, I’ll easily surpass Origin Tier.”
Godfrey mused.
He didn’t know how, maybe it was the castle giving him this subtle feeling but Godfrey just felt that his next knight might rekindle that first feeling he had when Mountain came.
That power.
Excitement coursed through him. Finally, he was close to the castle’s core and was about to unlock its most daunting knights. Knights that might be able to keep up with him.
He activated Echo and an intricate axe, nothing like a barbaric looking axe, appeared in his hand. He folded his fingers around the wooden hilt with golden engravings.
The feeling of the axe in his hand felt natural. It was like he had been training with the axe for almost a thousand years. The feeling was surreal yet real.
Unbelievable but factual. At that moment, Godfrey swung it. The axe blade cut through the air, leaving a faint blue trail that chased after the gleaming silver axe.
It was mesmerising. Even the air itself seemed to give way. Though the axe was much bigger than his longsword, they weighed almost the same.
That aside. Godfrey approached a pillar and took a deep breath. His eyes turned gold and black and icy mist billowed out of his mouth and fist.
’Remarkable agility huh?’
He cracked his neck and threw a punch at the pillar. His fist moved like a blur and this was without lightning infusion for speed.
Intrigued, Godfrey assumed a proper stance and launched a flurry of punches. The pillar made out of pure mana cracked as his fist struck the pillar over two hundred times in four seconds, completely shattering that portion of the pillar.
The upper side was disconnected from the lower side. The rubble on the floor was all frozen solid.
“You’re a menace.” Godfrey told Lysander as he was deeply impressed by his sixth knight.
He opened his eyes in the real world and sat up. With a soft exhale, he rose to his feet and turned to the window, from where he looked down. He was two floors above the ground.
The Vagabonds were going about their daily lives with their summons.
He found it hard to incorporate his knights into this as everyone and everywhere became tense when they appeared. After all, knights weren’t made of chats, especially the golden knights.
Only Isolde seemed to be quite interactive and comfortable with them.
Just then, he heard a knock on his door. Godfrey approached the door, opened it a little, peeped before opening it properly. Lucy folded her arms.
She wore a sun visor, a jacket that belonged to the engineering department with little grease stains, tight pants and boots.
“How are you doing today?” She chirped with a bright smile.
Godfrey smiled, his eyes closed.
’Cute! Unfortunately, he’s Isolde’s.’ Lucy sighed inwardly.
“Where’s Isaac? He always follows you around so it’s strange he’s not here.” Godfrey looked at both sides of the corridor with a raised eyebrow.
“He left on a mission. Percival too.”
“Percival went on a mission?!”
“All I can say is the captain figured out a way to convince him. Since I was sent to call you, I think it’s your turn.” Lucy replied.
“I see. Where exactly was Percival sent?”

Above a vast ocean, the sky was filled with dark clouds and roared madly with thunder and lightning. The waves of the sea were raging and unforgiving, and a huge ship struggled to keep aloft.
Despite its stunning size, before this hurricane, it was akin to an ant.
“Captain! Just what in the world is going on?!” Someone shouted but discovered the captain wasn’t speaking.
He turned to see the captain frozen in shock. As were the other sailors. They were all rowdy some seconds ago and now it seemed like he was the only one panicking.
The man snapped toward where they were all looking and fear caught him. He staggered backward, shocked to his bones at the sight of a corpse.
A kraken. One of the territorial beasts that had claimed a portion of the Atlantic ocean as its domain floated there, its mass, almost two times the size of this cargo ship. The sea had turned bright blue due to its blood and on its head sat a young man.
Soaked from the rain, he sat there, holding his golden trident still plunged into the Kraken’s head. The hurricane that almost sank their ship didn’t even bother him.
Lightning struck, brightening the world and allowing them to have a good glance at his face.
“One man killed the kraken…!” The sailors looked at themselves with disbelief. This was a creature that had tanked a nuke. If it was one of the heads of top families, this sight would have been amazing but not as shocking.

In another location, a small dumb boy stood before a towering building. Almost fifty stories but abandoned due to sanctions. It was already late, the sky had gone dark and yet he stood there, underneath a street lamp.
His mother had promised him she would return. She just needed to find his ball which he mistakenly threw through the window but it had been nearly four hours since then.
She told him she’ll be back soon so he stood. Hoping that she would come back like always. His determination outweighed his body’s urge to rest after standing for hours.
“Hey.” Someone caressed his head. This made the boy look up at a golden masked man in black hoodie.
“I don’t know if you know this but you’re standing before one of the most dangerous green gate I’ve ever seen.” Godfrey looked down only to see tears had begun to spill down the little boy’s cheeks.
’Do I look that scary or is it what I said?’ Godfrey was confused.
