Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights - Chapter 222: Father & Son

Chapter 222: Father & Son
Alfred summoned his Asian Weaver Ants. All three of them came out their portals and ran toward the dwarves. All the stones sent against them were shattered by brute strength alone.
The Origin Tier ant, standing at an impressive height of fifteen feet unleashed a roar as its aura swept out.
Everywhere fell silent. This was the roar of an Origin Tier, a roar that humbled those below it but the golden haired man sighed under his breath.
“You shouldn’t have done that.”
A powerful roar that came from the mountain behind the village swept through the plains. The waterfall burst outwardly and somewhat rolled out. It was huge, almost the same height with the ant in its curled up form and as it rolled, the earth trembled.
Eliza, Caspian, Alistair, Seraphina and other summoners both felt and saw the massive creature. Their expressions changed instantly.
The beast moved right past the dwarves and drifted. What erupted from its drift wasn’t dust but golden mist and spikes the length of spears.
The Origin Tier ant deftly evaded the spikes and closed in, aiming to snap its foe with its powerful mandibles but the rolling beast stood up on its four feet.
It wasn’t rolling anymore and now revealed its bear body and head filled with fangs. It caught the ant and bit down. The moment his summon’s scale cracked, Alfred swiftly retrieved it.
Brown roared as the other two ants were also retrieved before a casual slap would send them to their doom.
That roar stopped the summoners in their tracks.
“Did that beast just defeat Guild Master Alfred’s Origin Tier summon? Wasn’t its exoskeleton unbreakable?” Seraphina shuddered.
“It’s just one beast. We can take it down if we—?” Caspian couldn’t finish as a golden dome manifested in an instant with thousands of golden spears aimed at them.
Alistair commanded his Phantom Mantis to slice the golden wall but was repelled. The mantis looked up, expecting a spear but none was shot.
A door opened and the golden haired man walked in, his eyes gleaming. “Hello, you’re from earth, right?”
Everyone snapped toward him, pistols and summons all ready in order to defend themselves. But shock settled in as quickly when they discovered this man just spoke English.
“We are. Who are you?” Caspian asked.
The man removed the cloth around his nose and mouth, revealing his entire face. A soft smile spread out.
“I am Ronald Daniels.”
“What?!” Eliza couldn’t believe what she just heard while Caspian was too shocked to even speak.
Ronald Daniels was a famous name. His feat was up there amongst the greatest. He didn’t kill the strongest beast or fight greater bosses like some of the powerful families but this man stood against a hundred thousand orcs alone.
Till date that was an incredible feat.
“But he’s dead.” Seraphina muttered, her eyes trembling as she could remember what she and her friends spoke about when they met his son in the Undead Desert.
“Is this a good thing or a bad thing considering what the authorities have categorised his son and wife as?” Eliza whispered to Caspian who saw Alfred approach him from the left.
Alfred hid in the crowd and came behind Caspian. “If that’s really Ronald Daniels and not a monster, I say we kill him here and now because if he leaves this place and goes back into the world…”
“Can you hear yourself?” Caspian snapped. “Before you speak, have you questioned how you’re going to kill a man not even a hundred thousand orcs could kill when he was just a Lord Tier. Right now, I’m afraid we stand before an existence much stronger than the gorilla out there or can’t you see?”
Caspian glared at him. “… We’re at his mercy already.”
“There is a way back to earth but we have a problem.” Caspian told Ronald with a grim tone.
Ronald brought down the dome and looked at the rumbling clouds heading toward the great wall.
“You brought Gorgota with you.” Ronald said as he saw the dark clouds crackling with intense lighting with vague shapes of skulls.

A dark silhouette moved through dense trees on an island. He flickered through the forest with outstanding agility before leaping to the top of a tree.
His ocean blue eyes reflected the shadow of a girl seated before a table. A faint smile appeared on Godfrey’s face as he gazed at the shadow of Isolde hidden by the curtain. That was the room to her window.
While he watched, the shadow stood up, approached the window and opened it, revealing a charming beauty looking out the window.
A warm smile broke out on Godfrey’s face as he watched arrange stuff on her table before taking something from it.
It looked like a painting. His eyes gleamed with mana, allowing his vision to increase.
“Is that me?” He muttered to himself but as Isolde pinned it to the wall, he went back to admiring her.
She wore a white camisole and black drawstring shorts and a pencil above her right ear. It was probably the same one she just used to draw.
’I have a new summon. His name is Solstice —.’ He scattered that thought. Maybe he shouldn’t start with that.
Godfrey was already embarrassed within himself but still quite happy. Just looking at her gave him this feeling that was just too sweet and giddy.
He might already be laughing for no reason. Upon thinking about that, Godfrey realized he was smiling foolishly.
He would have loved to leap into that room. Maybe still a kiss or whatever. Who knows. A hug would be quite appropriate.
Unfortunately, all his dazzling fantasies dimmed at the sight of agents. To think the great Pendragons were under house arrest!
It had escaped him for a bit the moment he laid eyes on Isolde’s shadow but there were lots of vehicles that belonged to the authorities on the island.
Agents even patrolled the Pendragon Mansion. This was a bold move from the authorities, backed by the second, and the fourth strongest families in the western region. For the first time, the Pendragons were cornered. But they couldn’t be pushed too much as all this was under pretense of extra protection.
But it was just to make sure contact between Godfrey and the Pendragons was severed!
