Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights - Chapter 283: The Gate Is Closing

Chapter 283: The Gate Is Closing
“It’s a relic.” Godfrey pointed at the monument. While Isolde stared at it, he told her what the armour said to him.
The world was even bigger than she thought. Countless worlds had fallen trying to satisfy the mana tree’s question. Ruined worlds floated about, bearing stories of forgotten civilizations.
From what she deduced most worlds had subtle differences in how mana affected them. For them, the humans of Earth, part of their souls could take the shape of other races, meaning the mana tree was compiling almost all races into one world to see the outcome.
It would be a brutal one when the Ruination Stage came. Once Earth’s pantheon was established, those other gods would wreck the fragile stability of Earth, it would become god against god, faction against faction.
What about her?
Isolde’s eyes narrowed. Her life goal was to make sure Godfrey didn’t become what she saw but failed. Not entirely as her presence was able to keep warmth in his heart.
With the knowledge of the future to come and her past goal now behind her, she realized her new goal was to truly become the mother of dragons.
To once again establish the dragon race and rule as their mother and Queen. This would mean expanding the Pendragons from being just a family into a race different from a normal human.
When the time came for the Titled gods, she would have to claim a spot. But it was up to the mana tree to select Earth’s first gods.
That law didn’t apply to Godfrey though. Once he unlocked the next door, he could create stronger knights which would in turn make him stronger.
Her husband might be the only existing being to be able to grow without the mana tree increasing his potential.
Her eyes narrowed as Isolde realized she too had never been called by the mana tree.
“Isolde…”
Godfrey’s voice rang from behind.
Her eyes widened, she covered her mouth and turned. “I forgot you’re still injured and out of mana. All of us are inside your soul space, no one will be able to help.”
“Trust me, It’s not a problem. Take a look at your hand.” Godfrey pointed at her hand. Isolde blinked, realizing she was with the emperor’s paragon core all this while.
“You should have absorbed it.”
Isolde shook her head gently. “I wanted you to give me permission. You’re my king after all~”
Godfrey scoffed softly.
“Are you blushing? How cute.” The armour snickered. Godfrey’s eyes twitched with slight anger, luckily Isolde didn’t notice it as she focused on absorbing the core.
This was her first time. She felt something cold move through her veins, surging up to her chest. As her strength surged, so did her tier. In the end, she rose from 25.0 to 26.0, pushing Godfrey into the Progenitor Tier through Symbiosis.
With Black-Out State and the Immortal Armour, even as a low-tier progenitor, Godfrey would become the nightmare of those in the same tier.
Isolde pulled off her helmet and ran her fingers through her red hair, shaking her head so the strands loosened and fell free from where the helmet had pressed them down.
“You should have told me she looked this good behind that armour. I wouldn’t have chosen you! Female warlords are the best… They live longer.” The Immortal Armour cried out.
Godfrey sighed. “Get out.” At his order, the armour left his body and reassembled by his side.
“Tsk!” It scowled.
Isolde raised an eyebrow. “Wow. What more can it do?”
Before Godfrey could reply the armour formed two exquisite long swords and performed a move, showcasing deft skill with the sword that stunned the Golden Order Knights. Isolde’s eyes widened.
Godfrey’s face darkened. “Get lost.”
A sudden force jerked the armour toward the huge door. It swung open, and the armour was hurled inside before the door slammed shut.
After absorbing Godfrey’s mana it had basically become his slave. Though arrogant, the armour would be subject to its wearer, a skill put in place to keep the armour under control.
Isolde’s eyes went to her man and her soft lips slowly curled up into a mischievous smile. “Were… were you jealous just now?”
“I wasn’t.”
His reply only made Isolde giggle. She was clearly teasing him. His eyes darkened and he snapped toward the other Golden Order Knights silently standing in the hallway.
“Did I act jealous?”
A sudden pressure fell on the knights. They looked at themselves. None of them dared speak.
If they said no, Godfrey would be happy but Isolde might not and since she was his spouse, it would still backfire on them.
If they said yes, the result would be the same. Silence was the best answer.
“It might seem so, My Prince.” All the knights turned to Lysander.
“In my village, we have a solemn oath to tell the truth.” Lysander cleared his throat as Isolde burst into laughter. His prince was being mocked right to his face but… it was an act of love from both sides.
Right?
This wouldn’t warrant a…why was everywhere so hot.
Lysander gulped. He had never seen Godfrey stare at him with such a frightening expression.
He shouldn’t have come here.

The next morning, outside the Forbidden City, two members of Pagoda Guild stood before the swirling dungeon gate.
“Dan. Is it me or has the gate grown smaller.” The younger man said to his partner, a member of the guild that came from the Western Region.
“It’s not just that, the red colour is nearly gone!” His lips quivered. “We need to alert the guild master.”
A few minutes later Alex Wang arrived at the dungeon with his daughter, who was one of the strongest members in the headquarters. She came along with a hundred elites.
Most of them were Saint Tier Summoners who had been enhanced as their Symbiosis percentage had grown. This was one of the advantages the Pagoda Guild had over other guilds, a summoner whose summon could increase the symbiosis percentage of other summons with their summoners.
It was a game-changing innate skill that drew summoners like ants to sugar.
All of them wore white and golden combat attire with chest plates and sleek pauldrons made of dungeon metals, both etched with the symbol of the guild.
Leading this team was Wang Yinglu, Alex’s daughter. She wore a relic that could transform into wings and her nose down to her neck was protected by a custom-made mask.
Ahead of her was her father who didn’t even dress like he was heading into a dungeon. A long coat hung over his shoulders while both hands were tucked into the pockets of his pants.
His eyes narrowed in disbelief when he saw that not only was the red colour gone, there was lots of faint mist around the gate, like the gate was about to close!
“Be careful.” He warned his daughter and the elite members of the Pagoda Guild before they moved in.
They were all prepared for combat, their nerves tensed but the moment they entered, their eyes widened to the limit.
