Chapter 441:Let’s Welcome The Demon Guest
Ethan looked toward the two demon generals and smiled faintly.
“Hohoho!”
“I hope I am not late to welcome some dear friends from the Demon Realm!”
The moment Ethan’s voice echoed across the battlefield, the chaotic noise surrounding Frostvele seemed to pause for a brief second.
Cold wind swept across the blood-stained snow while fragments of shattered weapons rolled slowly along the cracked ground. Smoke drifted through the air, and broken bodies lay scattered everywhere. Both human soldiers and demons instinctively turned toward the newly arrived figure.
Standing before the fading portal, Ethan calmly adjusted his gloves as if he had merely arrived for a formal gathering rather than stepping into the middle of a brutal war.
Behind him, the portal slowly closed with a soft humming sound.
Julia, who had been locked in fierce combat moments earlier, finally released a quiet breath when she sensed his aura.
“So you finally came,” she muttered while wiping blood from her blade.
Phillips laughed roughly and kicked aside a fallen demon corpse.
“Took you long enough.”
Ethan glanced toward them briefly and nodded.
“Traffic was terrible.”
Even in such a deadly situation, his tone remained relaxed, and that calmness alone steadied the nearby soldiers.
Across the battlefield, Herios narrowed his eyes while tightening his grip on his massive axe.
“So… you are Count Ethan.”
His voice carried a thick killing intent that pressed heavily against the surroundings.
Kiea carefully observed Ethan from head to toe. Unlike the intelligence reports they had received earlier, the pressure radiating from him now felt deep, stable, and terrifying.
Very dangerous.
“You killed our generals before,” she said coldly. “I wondered what kind of human could do that.”
Ethan tilted his head slightly.
“Well,” he replied casually, “they attacked first.”
The demon ranks behind them shifted uneasily. Even weaker demons instinctively stepped backward as invisible waves of aura clashed between both sides.
Herios suddenly burst into loud laughter.
“Good!”
“I was worried this battle would become boring.”
He lifted his axe high and slammed it into the ground.
BOOM!
Cracks spread rapidly across the frozen earth as violent demonic energy surged upward like erupting flames.
“Let me see,” he continued while pointing the blade toward Ethan, “whether the famous human hero truly deserves his reputation.”
Ethan sighed softly.
“You demons really talk too much.”
His expression changed.
The relaxed warmth disappeared, and calm indifference replaced it.
Crimson intent slowly rose around his body like flowing flames. The air grew heavy, and even falling snowflakes froze midair before shattering into fine mist.
From the fortress walls above, Miranda grabbed the railing tightly.
“Father is serious…”
Nera nodded silently beside her, although excitement shone clearly in her eyes.
For Nera, Miranda, and Leo, this was the first time they would witness Ethan fighting seriously. A faint thrill rose in their hearts as curiosity mixed with pride.
They wanted to know just how strong their father truly was.
Ethan walked forward slowly, passing Julia and Phillips without looking back.
“You two fall back slightly,” he said calmly. “Handle the army.”
Before either could respond, the two Legendary Demon warriors moved.
Ethan did not waste another second.
His figure blurred and rushed forward instantly.
“Foolish human,” Herios sneered. “You think you can stop us alone? You’re overestimating yourself.”
Both demons attacked at the same time.
Dozens of violent slashes filled with destructive aura tore through the air, rushing toward Ethan from multiple directions. The attacks carried enough force to slice apart fortress walls.
Yet Ethan did not slow down.
“Weak.”
His expression remained unchanged as he continued charging straight into the storm of attacks.
At the exact moment the slashes were about to strike him, a layer of crimson dragon scales suddenly appeared across his body. The scales shimmered faintly and formed naturally over his skin.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
The violent mana slashes collided against the scales and shattered instantly like glass striking steel.
Shockwaves spread outward, but Ethan remained completely unharmed.
“How is this possible?”
Kiea’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Herios’ confident expression froze as if he had seen something impossible.
They had assumed Ethan was merely another Legendary human trying to stall them.
Instead, their full-power attacks had failed to even scratch him.It felt like striking a mountain with bare hands.
Realization struck both demons at the same time.
The clown in this battle had never been Ethan.
It was them.
Herios roared and poured more power into his axe. Dark energy surged wildly as he attacked again, and Kiea followed with rapid claw strikes that distorted the air itself.
Their combat techniques intensified several times over.
Explosions echoed continuously as attacks rained down.
Yet no matter how fiercely they attacked, Ethan moved calmly between them.
Sometimes he blocked with his sword.Sometimes he simply raised his arm.
Each strike landed against dragon scales or met his blade and was effortlessly deflected aside.
CLANG!
SPARKS burst repeatedly as weapons collided.
Ethan’s movements were clean and controlled. There was no panic and no wasted motion.
From the walls, soldiers watched in stunned silence.
“That… that’s Legendary Realm?” one knight whispered.
Leo’s eyes burned with excitement.
“No,” he muttered quietly. “Thats not the only thing that makes father strong”
Back on the battlefield, Ethan finally raised his gaze toward the two demons.
“You finished?”
The simple question sent chills down their spines.
Crimson intent surged again around him, spreading across the battlefield like an awakening beast.
For a brief moment after Ethan’s words fell, the battlefield grew strangely quiet.
Snow mixed with ash drifted slowly through the air while the ground trembled under the pressure spreading from his body. The crimson intent surrounding Ethan no longer fluctuated wildly but instead settled into something dense and terrifying.
Herios tightened his grip on his axe as instinct screamed danger inside his mind. The confident smile that once rested on his face slowly disappeared, and for the first time hesitation appeared in his eyes.
Kiea also stepped back half a pace without realizing it.
This human…
