Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1066: Chilling Gaze

Chapter 1066: Chilling Gaze
Kent unleashed a sword arc, but Echo blocked it with her sword before her eyes changed color. Suddenly, a colossal sword appeared in the air and shot toward Kent.
The chaos dragon sensed a dangerous feeling coming from the sword. However, he was prepared to retaliate.
However, before the attack could get close to him, a colossal ship blasted through it and entered the crack leading to the planet the Nethrans were coming from.
Echo’s expression changed. She moved, aiming to retreat, but Kent used the soul map to teleport and block her path.
“MOVE!”
Echo’s angered voice filled the battlefield; however, Kent just smiled.
“Move me if you can.”
Just when he said that, a powerful explosive shockwave came out of the red portal, sending all those fighting close to it flying.
“NOOOOO!”
Echo’s painful cry sent a chill through thousands of warriors from either side of the battlefield. Kent, who was also pushed back, turned and looked in the direction Paragon was fighting.
What he saw sent a chill down his spine.
’Damn… he is both handsome, dangerous, and evil.’
That was the feeling he got when he saw Paragon holding the head of the Monarch he was fighting by the hair, her legs and arms chopped off.
It was as if he were telling the lady to look at what he had just done to the Nethrans and that he would do the same thing to her.
’Would I be able to do something this chilling, too? Am I capable of doing something like this?’ Kent asked himself, but he just couldn’t see himself bombing an entire world, killing both warriors and civilians alike.
Looking into Paragon’s cold gaze, devoid of emotion, he felt both fear and sympathy toward him. Kent could feel it somehow.
He didn’t know how, but he could feel and understand how the redhead holding the lady by the hair was feeling.
Paragon wasn’t in the right mindset, mainly because at the moment, he wasn’t fighting as a human with lovers in his life; he was fighting as a Paragon, someone who hated the heavens and everything they stood for.
That made him dangerous, and as someone who had seen danger, Kent could tell this could go either way. However, he knew he, too, could only do his best to ensure that the bad didn’t happen.
“I will kill you!” Echo, who also knew where the attack came from, tried to lunge toward a lady standing not far from the Paragon.
“Maybe try killing me first.” Kent blocked her again, and this time, he went all out, activating everything. This time, all his attacks started pushing Echo back.
Kent landed a powerful kick, sending Echo flying back. He then used the soul map to move back, distancing himself 8 km from her.
Then, tapping into the second form of the Annihilation Sword Technique, he unleashed an attack.
“Void Cleave!”
A five-meter-wide red sword arc flashed out and sped toward Echo, who immediately sensed danger and tried to retreat. However, Kent didn’t allow her.
A meteor fell from the sky and locked her down.
This time, because her domain failed to hold Kent, she didn’t try to use it again. Instead, she raised her left sword, and another large sword appeared.
She slashed down, and the sword sped forward to meet the Void Cleave, while her right sword controlled thousands of swords to obliterate the meteor.
’She fell for it.’
The soul flag appeared, and four soul spirits came out and teleported beside Echo.
“Soul Explosion!”
BOOOOOOM!
A powerful explosion rocked the battlefield, sending Echo flying back. The shockwave reduced some warriors closer to the explosion to dust, while thousands were either knocked unconscious or hurt beyond healing.
The battered and bruised Echo slammed into a tall mountain 30 km away. Kent used the soul map to teleport and appear beside her, stabbing his sword toward her chest.
However, the moment his hand moved, Kent sensed a powerful attack coming at him. He teleported away, aiming to save his life first instead of risking it to kill. However, just when he teleported away, he still felt the danger.
Using the soul map, he saw a different Monarch—a yellow-haired archer—shoot an arrow at him. The arrow, even after he evaded, still followed him, causing Kent to distance himself further from Echo.
He started teleporting at random, but the arrow kept coming at him.
’Damn, is this arrow a heatseeker?’
That was the only explanation. Kent, of course, also knew there might be other reasons for how weird this arrow was behaving. But for now, he could only keep teleporting while looking for a way to defend.
“Void Piercer Bolt.” Suddenly, just when Kent teleported away from the heatseeker arrow, another arrow appeared before him and exploded, sending him flying several kilometers away.
’He is good. I never saw that coming.’
Kent saw through the soul map that seven people had come through the red crack after the explosion. He could only assume that he had reduced the rest of the Nethran warriors to ash.
However, he had no time to focus on them since another arrow arrived before him.
This time, Kent teleported and moved 1,000 km away, taking his battle further away from everyone now that he was being targeted by two Monarchs.
’Should I use it now?’ Kent wondered. He wasn’t afraid of the two Monarchs. If anything, he welcomed the challenge. However, his worry was more toward Paragon and his people.
The Paragon had just killed the lady, but when he could have had some breathing space, seven more appeared, and from the look of things, one of the seven was even stronger than the Monarchs.
This already told him what he needed to know, and, taking a second to observe, he saw the battle was about to get dirty.
’Paragon is okay. He can handle two, maybe even three. However, if all seven were Monarchs, his teammates could have handled them.
But there is a Nirvana (Life stage in Kent’s universe) stage warrior now in the mix, meaning Paragon would have to focus on him, leaving six Monarchs.
Even if the strongest on Paragon’s side were to team up on them, there are still millions of enemy warriors left for the weaker army to handle.’
Kent blocked Echo’s sword attack, but he was forced to teleport back when an arrow came at him from the side. Kent couldn’t counterattack, but he bought himself another second to observe some more.
’The three ladies inside the dome are almost done. That is good. With them filling in for the people now facing the Monarchs, the death toll will be reduced somehow.’
Kent’s focus was pulled back when he felt another heatseeker arrow lock on him. However, this time he had a counter.
He waved his hand, and the void cracked, swallowing the arrow. Up ahead, a new crack appeared, and the arrow shot toward the archer, who was now forced to defend against his own arrow.
Kent used the chance to unleash an attack on Echo.
His left hand grew claws, and with one powerful swing, four red claw arcs flashed out and slammed into Echo’s chest, sending her flying down.
Kent observed one last time, but what he saw caused his blood to run cold.
Up ahead in the other crack, just as Paragon and his teammates started to hold back the six Monarchs and the one Nirvana warrior, another Nirvana warrior—an angel—emerged from the golden portal.
A talisman appeared in his hand, and he was about to clench it when something strange started to happen…
