Chapter 1150: Ten Emotions Sword Dao
[Whispering Wind Sword Sect – Core Area]
Inside an immortal cave where the spiritual qi in the air was extremely potent, sat a green-haired lady who, at first glance, was clearly dangerous.
Although she looked beautiful and calm, the air around her was extremely sharp, filled with so much sword intent.
She is clearly the epitome of lethal beauty.
Naturally, even without the aura of an Immortal Lord, she could still kill an ordinary Immortal Lord. After all, her strength and killing intent were far more dangerous than those of an ordinary immortal.
Suddenly, she opened her eyes, and a wave of sword intent exploded out of her body, filling the air with so much killing intent.
If someone below the Sword Immortal stage were to be within a 30-mile radius of this immortal cave, not even their bones would have remained, considering the sword aura in the air was already enough to shred them down to the last atom.
The moment she opened her eyes, an image of a certain youngster appeared in her mind, causing her expression to turn dark.
“A mere mortal dares threaten me,” she muttered coldly, causing the air to freeze. Suddenly, a pale smile appeared on her face, “How bold.”
She looked into her space ring and pulled out a communication jade tablet. Channeling her energy into it, she spoke a few words, and a moment later, a white-bearded man and a much older woman entered the cave.
“Greetings, Sect Leader… Are you coming out of seclusion?” the white-bearded man asked, bowing to the beautiful, green-haired lady.
“Not yet. I have yet to merge back with my Dao bodies, so, for many reasons, I will remain in seclusion for another thousand years.”
The old man and woman looked at each other and nodded in unison. The old lady then asked, “Since the Sect Leader has summoned us, it means she needs something.”
The green-haired lady nodded, “I do need something. I would like you to dispatch some disciples to track down a certain swordsman for me.
I don’t know his name, but he is not older than 4,000 years. He has a youthful appearance, deep brown eyes, short dark hair, and is very handsome.
He walks around holding a brown and rusty sword sheath. The hilt of his sword is made from black leather. He is only at the Heavenly Ascension stage and is a Sword King.
However, he is close to the Sword Emperor stage, and even his cultivation is close to the Empyrean stage.
Once you find him, come and alert me. Do not engage him.”
The old man and woman nodded, a little surprised their Sect Leader would have this much interest in a mere Sword King, even going as far as noting down every last detail about him.
This wasn’t like the woman they knew.
The sect leader they knew is ruthless and cunning. She didn’t raise the Whispering Wind sword sect to the top sect in their star system by being soft.
She had lived for a hundred thousand years already, but never once had she shown any interest in anyone, not even demigods and gods.
So this came as a shock to them.
However, they nodded, knowing this was important to their Sect Leader. “We will get right on it, Sect Leader.”
She nodded, and they left. After they were gone, a vicious light flashed across her eyes.
“I have been cultivating the Ten Emotions Sword Dao for thousands of years. I have faced many experts and fought with many of them, yet this is the first time I have met someone who could defeat me.
This person is not simple; I must either win him over or eliminate him. My Ten Emotions Sword Dao cannot meet a setback, not when I am close to unification.”
She muttered coldly.
Suddenly, ten ladies, each a beauty in her own right, walked into the cave. They all had the aura of True Immortals and the sword intent of Sword Immortals.
One of them was Seraphina, the lady who fought with Jest.
Of course, during their battle, she was an Empyrean and a Sword Emperor, but now, it seemed her true cultivation base had been revealed, considering she was now facing an immortal.
The rules of the heavens could not allow a part of the Sword Dao to roam without measures in place to keep it in check.
All ten ladies were the Ten Emotions cultivated by Lady Seraphina, the Sect Leader of the Whispering Wind Sword Sect, one of the best in the immortal worlds.
To cultivate the Ten Emotions, she had to send them out into the world to gain experience.
They had been out there for years, but now that she had met someone who had caught her interest, she called them back to merge and complete her Sword Domain (Concept).
Once that was done, she would be ready to become a demigod and pursue godhood.
But first, she must get her hands on Jest…
—
Months passed, and Jest still remained in his enlightened state, unaware that there were thousands of people searching for him.
The lady he came this close to killing was actually the Emotion of Arrogance of a certain Sword Immortal, and so, now, she wanted him found.
Thankfully, Jest didn’t take anything from her, or else by now he would have been found.
Thanks to his intelligence, he was able to keep himself hidden for the time being.
A year later, Jest opened his eyes, causing a wave of sword intent to pour out of his body. Jest’s eyes turned cold as he slowly pulled his sword out of the sheath.
If one paid close attention, they would see a hint of something much more deadly in both his eyes and around his sword.
“Sword Realm Manifestation,” he muttered, then a frown appeared on his face. “How is this even possible? I haven’t formed my Sword Realm yet, so how can there be a hint of its manifestation on my sword?”
The reason he gained enlightenment was thanks to Seraphina.
Jest had always tried to understand every new thing he saw and make sense of how they worked. He fought 127 battles with Seraphina and lost 126 of them.
However, to many, he was a weakling who wouldn’t just accept death, but to Jest, it was an opportunity to learn.
He had experienced Seraphina’s Sword Realm several times, and as a result, he learned from it. Thanks to that, he gained enlightenment.
However, the problem was that, even after reaching the Sword King stage, Jest had yet to form his own Sword Realm.
While many had formed their Sword Realms and were now comprehending ways to make them domains and then create their concepts, Jest was still stuck.
It was one of the reasons why he came to the immortal world.
He wants to find a way to form a sword realm, considering he is walking his own sword path.
However, who would have thought that after gaining enlightenment from experiencing the same Sword Realm dozens of times, he would start manifesting Sword Realm energy on his sword?
Just out of curiosity, Jest decided to tap into the Sword Realm around his sword and unleash a powerful swing, sending out a sword arc.
A powerful sword arc flashed out, carving a crater through the land and splitting a mountain 40 miles away. In the air, a vicious cold energy that seemed to freeze everything in its wake filled the air.
“Damn, that is the Sword Realm of that vicious, arrogant lady.”
Jest looked both shocked and happy.
He had just comprehended someone’s Sword Realm into a sword skill.
“This is not true, right?” He looked at his sword, and as expected, when he willed it, the same vicious and cold Sword Realm energy appeared around his sword.
“Damn…”
Jest took a deep breath, and then a determined look appeared on his face.
“If I can’t form my Sword Realm yet, then I must steal other people’s…”
