Chapter 1164: Divine Flame Armament
Kent stood atop a mountain, gazing at the clear sky with a calm expression.
Hundreds of mountains stretched from the ground, rising into the air.
The mountain he stood on could be considered the shortest one.
All the other mountains were colossal, stretching many kilometers high.
However, he stood calmly, gazing at the clear sky as if he were waiting for something.
Naturally, he indeed was waiting for something.
Thankfully, what he was waiting for showed its face a couple of seconds later.
Suddenly, the sky started turning green, the thick clouds forming in what looked like a deadly storm. The air also seems to start heating up.
However, there was no storm; in fact, this was something completely opposite to a storm.
As the cloud formed, something metallic and colossal slowly emerged from it, instantly causing the ground to shake.
At first glance, one could see the knuckles of a right fist. As it slowly appeared, one could see a green and black metallic gauntlet, tightly clenched into a fist.
The pressure it exerted began shaking the very ground vigorously.
Even with only the knuckles up to the wrist showing, most of the mountains started crumbling. The heat and pressure bearing down on them were just too much to remain standing.
“Damn, now this is something I can work with,” Kent muttered, wiping the sweat that had formed on his forehead.
Soon, the entire gauntlet had appeared, and its length alone was about 400 meters. The fist was also huge.
The pressure and heat were so severe that Kent felt suffocated just by standing beneath them.
The shocking part was that he stood 3 km away, but the pressure had spread to where he was, and as the gauntlet descended further, the pressure and the heat only seemed to intensify.
Kent raised his hand and gestured down.
As if being pushed by an external force, which it was, the gauntlet moved at great speed, and before Kent could blink, hundreds of mountains were wiped out.
GASP
Kent gasped as he opened his eyes on the outside. Sweat formed on his forehead, clearly from the pressure he was under while inside the skill space.
He had just witnessed the first form of his flame technique, which he created by sacrificing a bunch of flame techniques, including even divine-grade techniques.
In fact, aside from the Flame Wheels technique, all the techniques he had learned from the Flame Tower were gone, and the worst part was, they had been wiped from his mind, so he could not use them ever again.
However, he had created something powerful from it. The flame technique he had created was a weapon of mass destruction.
The gauntlet was the first form of the technique, yet it had already proven itself to be a dangerous one.
“Please tell me what I have just seen is the full capacity the first form can harness?” Kent smiled weakly, feeling his pride and emotions swelling up.
⟦The master had yet to fully realize the technique’s potential because he still lacked flame essence. At the moment, you can only use 50% of its true capacity 15 times before running out of energy.
Until the master can fully harness the true power of the first form, he cannot use the second form.⟧
“Damn, that is something to be happy about… right?”
⟦It is, master. The Divine Flame Armament technique is a good technique for you. Although it is nowhere close to the ranks of a Primordial technique, it will be more than enough for you to harness your flame in ways a true flame cultivator should.⟧
Kent smiled.
When he started creating the technique, he wanted something that could match the Finger of Destruction. However, he was shocked to learn he needed to sacrifice Supreme-grade and even Celestial-grade flame techniques to achieve that.
Naturally, he had no such technique to sacrifice, so he only focused on the divine-grade and below. Now he had created a technique that harnesses the power of his flame element to form weapons.
The first form is a gauntlet that can crush mountains into powder. Who is to say what the second form will be like?
“I need to form my second flame core now that I have formed the second blood core gate. That is the only way I can harness the true form of this technique.”
⟦The master already has enough Primordial Flames to form the second core. However, I advise the master to find other flame-rich treasures to add to it.
Also, once the master forms the second flame core, the first one will expand further, making room to saturate it with more flame essence.
I yet again advise the master should find a flame-rich zone to undergo the procedure there.⟧
“In other words, I cannot form the second flame core just yet.”
⟦Exactly.⟧
Kent took a deep sigh and then chose to push the matter about the flame core aside. He had formed his first flame technique.
It is only a god-grade technique, but since he can later upgrade it, there is no telling what it will become.
“With the Divine Flame Armament, not only would I be able to pay a visit to the Flame Demon Tower, but I can even find out where the other forms of the ’Finger of Destruction’ are and hopefully get my hands on them.
Although it is a failed experiment, it is still a primordial-grade flame technique.”
After making up his mind, Kent switched to the mission he gave to the tower.
“Were you able to find a path that will lead to the edge of this galaxy much faster?” Before entering seclusion, he had tasked the tower with mapping the worlds he had been to and the ones like the sword worlds he had ways to reach and see whether she could create a path for him to follow.
⟦I have indeed found a path and even made a shocking discovery.⟧
“Oh… do tell.”
⟦You can start your journey from Fedora, then move to Menelaus, and then to the Pyris Pill World. Then from there, you can move to Byrmrr…⟧
“Hold on… Byrmrr, I know this name.”
Kent thought for a moment, then his face lit up with shock. He seemed to have recognized the name. “Byrmrr is the world Jest grew up in.”
⟦That is true.⟧
“Wait a minute. How does that apply here? I have never been to that world, so naturally, that place shouldn’t register on the Planet Teleporter.”
⟦That is indeed true. However, it seems now that you have ascended to a high world, the teleporter has started registering all those worlds.
It has registered Byrmrr, the world Lord Genesis was born in. It has also registered Bayla, the world in which the Faceless Assassin was born.
As for the world the Chaos Dragon was born in, because you are below its grade, it couldn’t register.⟧
“Wow, this is awesome.”
⟦That is true. Now, the master can just teleport to Planet Bayla since that is the farthest from your current position and closest to the edge of this galaxy. It will cut your journey by 25%⟧
“Nice work, Tower. With this, I don’t even have to go through the sword worlds.”
⟦The master can indeed skip them. However, I believe the sword competition is in one of the sword worlds, so the master would have to visit the past again to get the coordinates for at least one of the ten sword worlds.⟧
Kent nodded. He would love to skip the sword worlds, but since he would be traveling there one of these days, he might as well pay a quick visit to the past and see what connections he could form there.
“Let’s think about that later. For now, I just want to know what the ladies are up to.”
