Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1380 She Is Wicked

Chapter 1380 She Is Wicked
There was nothing strange about the pool.
It was just a small pond filled with clean water.
However, despite its ordinary nature, Jest couldn’t help feeling like there was something terribly wrong with the water in the pool.
The longer he stared at it, the deeper the weirdness kept settling in his mind.
Inaya let go of his hand and pointed at the pool. “What you are looking at is sword qi transformed into a pool. Naturally, it is real water; however, it is contained inside a single strand of Sword God Energy.
If I can get my hands on that sword energy, wouldn’t it be nice?” she asked, the same smile appearing on her face.
“It would indeed be awesome.”
“In that case, wouldn’t it be great if you could help me look for it? I mean, it would be nice to help a senior, right?”
Jest smiled and nodded.
“Wonderful. It might take you at least a hundred years to find it, so once you accomplish it, you can go back to training here for as long as you want. I wouldn’t disturb you. As for our previous meeting, you can forget it ever happened.”
Jest turned and looked at her with a serious expression. “Just like that?” he asked, and she nodded.
“Very simple and easy, right?”
“Very easy indeed, Jest smirked, a look of satisfaction appearing on his face. He took a few steps toward the pool.
Jest knew she had plans for him the moment she chose not to attack him. However, instead of making it seem like she needed his help, she tried to make it seem like forgiving him and allowing him to use the purple sword garden was a privilege she would be granting him.
But Jest didn’t mind that one bit. In his head, he had already won. Spending a hundred years helping her so he could spend a lifetime training was not a bad deal at all.
“You know, in this life, there are those destined to suffer and those fated to have bad luck. Jest turned and looked at Inaya. “I am both of those things. But I am also someone fated to have all the good things in this life.”
Inaya said nothing, but she could sense a deeper meaning in what Jest was saying.
She waited for Jest to continue…
“My bad luck is meeting you twice, knowing full well you are a wicked person.” Inaya grinned. “That is not a nice word to say to a lady, Jest.”
“But it is true, though. You are wicked. You are an Immortal Lord, probably several thousand years old. To you, a hundred years is nothing. However, I need those hundred years to advance my understanding of the sword and also my cultivation base.
So asking me to spend that long to look for something I may never find is just being wicked.”
“One hundred years is the minimum. This means that until you find it, you can never leave this pool. And as you said, one hundred years is nothing to me. So, guess how long I can guard this place just so I can keep you here?”
Jest gave her a small smile before extending his hand toward the sword pool. “I may have bad luck, but I also have good luck.”
The water rippled and suddenly surged. Then, from deep within the pool, a thin sword flashed out and zipped through the air a few times before coming to a stop in front of Jest.
Inaya’s eyes widened at the sight. The sword was made of golden sword qi. However, the energy it contained was one thing Jest was most afraid of. Still, to show off and aura farm, he let it hover before him.
“H-How?” She tried to ask a question, but her words couldn’t come out.
“I believe this is what you are looking for.” Jest made the sword move toward her. When he was sure she had what she wanted, he took off from there.
“Don’t disturb me again, wicked lady.” He vanished from sight, leaving Inaya wondering just what had happened. Jest was supposed to spend at least one hundred years inside the pool.
However, with a casual wave of his hand, the condensed God Sword Energy appeared. That was just not possible, and she could tell that.
However, now that she had the sword energy before her, something she had been searching for for over three hundred thousand years already, she just couldn’t think straight.
By the time she managed to calm her heart down and make sense of what had happened, Jest was long gone. An hour had already passed.
“I promised to let him stay here, so I guess I will cut him some slack.” She smiled, then vanished from sight, appearing somewhere far from the purple
sword garden.
Now that she had the God Sword Energy, the next thing to do was refine and absorb it, which would take so much time, so Jest was safe to remain inside the
garden for as long as he wanted.
Years went by in the blink of an eye.
Jest remained in the garden for 120 years before coming out. He had learned so much that, the moment he came out, he decided to challenge the Sword Emperors in the sect and copy their sword realms so he could form his own.
It took another ten years, but he managed to form his sword realm.
He named it the Genesis Sword Realm, one of the most dangerous sword realms anyone had ever seen. The moment his sword realm was formed, he became undisputed.
As a Sword Emperor, he qualified to become a core disciple, so he took the exams and passed with flying colors.
He was later sent out to the outside world to gain some experience. Jest spent fifty years roaming from one planet to another, challenging anyone he wanted.
He made so many enemies, but he also gained friends.
Three hundred years after he returned to the sect, he became a Sword Divine. It could be considered a sudden leap, considering it takes many thousands of years to become Sword Divines.
However, he accomplished that. Naturally, the moment he became a Sword Divine, his name spread everywhere. He became an overnight sensation, a name that brought out all kinds of emotions.
This was because, on the day he became a Sword Divine, a tablet appeared, followed by a declaration. Inside the declaration, it was said that the Sword Dao had recognised Jest as someone who had accomplished a great feat, and as such, he had been recognised.
This declaration prompted many to seek him out.
Because of this, Jest had to leave the sect because staying there wasn’t safe for him. However, before leaving, he first fulfilled his promise and killed the brat who claimed he was good at being his slave.
Two hundred years after Jest left, another name appeared on the Sword Dao tablet. Inaya became the second person to be recognised by the Sword Dao.
When she found out what had happened, she also left and decided to search for Jest. Five hundred years later, they met again. Jest had just become a Sword Legend, while she was on the verge of ascending to godhood.
