Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1383 Lex Morvane

Chapter 1383 Lex Morvane
Kent appeared in front of a tall tower stretching as far as the eye could see. It is extremely tall and lined with several windows, showing that there are many rooms in the tower.
He stood there for a few seconds, admiring the structure.
It seemed to be made from limestone or jade that looked like limestone. Either way, it was tall, beautiful, and a bit strange.
The strangeness was due to the smoke coming from a window in what appeared to be the sixth floor. Kent narrowed his eyes at this window and even tried to use his soul map to see who was inside.
It was the only window that was open.
However, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t see inside. So he decided to enter and look for himself. He entered, and, as he expected, the interior was indeed lavish, showing that the owner of this tower was rather rich.
He made his way up the stairway, and soon he was standing in front of the door to the room whose window he had seen open when he was outside.
“Come in.”
Before he could knock, a voice came from inside, telling him to enter. Kent opened the door, and the first thing he saw was the back of a young man sitting before the window, smoking a pipe.
He had lush silver hair that was only a bit too tall to be called short. He was clad in royal wear, showing he was royalty. However, around him, Kent could not see any aura that suggested he was an Immortal, God, Supreme, or even Celestial.
“You are finally here,” the young man said before slowly turning to face Kent.
When their gazes met, Kent felt like he had known this person for a lifetime. However, this feeling also came with a wave of sadness and anger, the kind that would turn the most innocent into a monster.
“You are the Ruthless Bandit,” Kent asked, his eyes narrowing a bit.
The young man pulled the pipe away from his lips and let the smoke come from the corners of his mouth before a small smile appeared on his face.
“I was called that many years ago.” He stood up, walked toward a chair, and sat down. He gestured for Kent to sit down as well. “You can call me Lex Morvane.” “I am Kent Madson.”
There was just something about the way the young man was handling their meeting that kept giving Kent the creeps. He was too polite, and on top of that, he seemed to be testing Kent in ways he didn’t even know.
“So why are you here, Kent?”
Kent narrowed his eyes, hearing this obvious question. “Well, genius, you happen to be my incarnation, and so in my attempt to remember this life, I found myself here, so maybe cut the act and get on to helping me get what I came here for. I am on the clock here.”
Lex looked at Kent for a few seconds before a smirk appeared on his face. “I see. So you want to know about this life, huh?”
“Yes. That is what I literally said.”
“Oh, I see.” Lex turned toward a bookshelf and picked up a book. He brushed the dust off it and turned to Kent.
“Are you really sure you want to know about this life? I mean, it wasn’t our best life, and while I would like you to know the horrors of the universe this early, when it comes to my life, you would learn that even the purest flower is more lethal than the most potent poison.”
Kent didn’t say anything for a few seconds. He first let Lex’s words settle in his mind for a few minutes before he nodded.
“I want to. If I don’t know, then when would be the right time to do it?” “If you say so. But be aware that whatever you will be reading in this book will affect you in ways you cannot bring yourself to take for granted. If you, in any way, feel like you can’t handle it, just close it and store it somewhere you will not be compelled to read it.
Once you recover and you feel like you can handle it one more time, then you can go for it.”
Kent nodded, a bit taken aback by how Lex was handling everything. In his mind, he would be meeting a ruthless person on a bloody battlefield, clad in tattered armor with blood covering most of his armor and even his face. However, Lex looked like someone who had undergone therapy and had now turned a new chapter in his life, one in which he strove to maintain the peace he sought.
This only made Kent wonder just what kind of life he had lived that had turned him into such a person. It wasn’t normal, and that was plain as day now that he thought about it.
“Here you go,” Lex handed the book over to Kent. On the cover, he saw the book’s title, which darkened his expression.
“Birth of Evil: Tale of the Ruthless Bandit. Vol. 1”
The title of the book was just something he knew would contain some of the
most horrifying experiences he would go through.
He already saw how Elina died during the Primordial Era and how it affected Chaos. He also saw his life as a slave who had to endure the worst kind of
torture from the day he learned to walk.
As for his life as the Faceless Assassin, he saw the lengths his mother had to go through to protect him from assassins.
But despite all those unfortunate experiences, he wouldn’t classify his life during those times as evil. So for the Ruthless Bandit’s name to be branded as one, he knew things were about to get real.
“Remember, when it gets a bit overwhelming, just close the book and rest for a
while.”
Kent nodded and stored the book away. He then looked at Lex for a few
minutes before asking to leave.
“I will wait for you to come for the other volumes. However, don’t be pressured to come, since I have nowhere else to be.”
Kent nodded. A second later, he woke up inside the tower. He quickly reached into the tower storage and pulled out the book.
This one was much bigger than the memory diaries. Without even opening it, Kent knew he would be reading a story instead of diary entries.
“Should I dig in right away, or should I give it a few more days to do that? I
literally have more time on my hands now that I am not moving toward the
edge of the galaxy.”
Kent looked at the book for a few seconds before deciding to open it and see
what was inside.
Flipping to the first page, he only saw a few lines of text…
“This is the account of a beautiful life twisted by the evil of men-the tale of the
one who embodied evil in all forms and essence. Life of Lex Morvane, the
Ruthless Bandit.”
Kent took a deep breath, letting his mind clear. He wanted to see what happened next, so he needed his mind settled before diving in.
A few seconds later, he turned to page two.
