Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1392 Soul Temple

Chapter 1392 Soul Temple
[Five Days Later]
Five days later, Kent and his wives had searched everywhere on the island but found nothing from the dungeon or what the dark fiends were after.
On the previous floors, they usually find something that either links to Unity’s past or a treasure for all of them to enjoy.
“Looks like there is nothing more for Unity to remember, so the dungeon stopped leaving stuff for us to find,” Selene said, taking a seat on a stone with a whitish surface.
A few of her sisters joined her.
“It seems so. But that doesn’t explain why we also couldn’t find what the dark fiends were after.”
They had already examined the body of the Greed King and found nothing on him that suggested he had something for the dark fiends.
So it is either that they are missing something, or they really had nothing left to find.
“Everything will make sense when Zaila is up.”
It had already been five days on the outside since the battle came to an end, so by now, Zaila had woken up or was nearing the time to wake up.
Since she has the memories from the dark fiends, she would know something that they could use before heading to the 9th floor.
“Kaizo said they had reached the other side of the sea and are now leading the elves to their new home. So, since we have nothing left here to find, I suggest we go back to the tower.”
They all accepted Kent’s suggestion and quickly returned to the harem tower. When they arrived, Zaila was already up, but she had been meditating for a while now.
They allowed her to remain in her meditative state for a few hours.
“Sorry for the delay. After the battle, I gained some insight into my cultivation, and so I spent the time making the best of it.”
Facing someone whose consciousness had already reached the rank of a supreme made her go all out. But by doing so, she identified the gaps in her Mind Disc. This helped her fix them.
After a couple of weeks of meditation, she had addressed those limitations. The next time she met someone like the Dark Queen, she would be ready.
“I have also translated the memories, and while we managed to prevent them from getting what they came for, there is a much bigger problem left to handle. “What did they come for?” Vexthra asked.
“There is something on the island called the Island Heart. It is like the core of a beast, only that this core can only be accessed by the Elven King.
By killing him, we prevented them from having it. However, now that he is dead, we cannot have it either. Honestly, I think that is for the best, since none of us is ready to kill a living island.”
The ladies and Kent raised their brows, hearing what Zaila said.
None of them expected to hear that the island they had just returned from was a living entity and that the dark fiends came for its soul. That was the last thing they expected.
For an island to have a heart means it has undergone some form of evolution that makes it worthy of being called a living thing.
Such a thing cannot be killed easily. If left to grow and improve, it can one day awaken an innate body and innate sentience, and even become a living person.
When Faceless was left in the Evergreen Forest by his mother, he met many sentient plants-some benevolent, others extremely evil. The good ones helped him many times.
Later, when he became a big shot, he helped many of them awaken their innate bodies and become living beings.
Some of the great healers that once walked the face of the universe, and others still living now, are either Plantkin or descendants of a long-forgotten race affiliated with the Plantkin.
He is aware of the kind of life things like this island can have if they are allowed to grow. And for an island that had protected the green elves for years, he knew it must be one of the good ones.
“Tower, tell me, can we move this island into the tower?’
Since he is in favour of not killing the island, then helping it grow is the next best thing. The Dark Queen failed once to secure the island heart. However, there is no telling whether she won’t find another way to win next time.
[The master can indeed move the island, but you will require the expertise of Akira. She is a Soul Weaver, so if she can weave an array into the core of the island, then technically, we can move it into the tower for good.]
‘Good to know that, Kent said inwardly.
He wants to protect the island because, if what he had experienced in the past were to come to pass again, he would have a powerful being by his side to face what he would have to face in the future.
“How about the memories?”
“That one was basically about the island heart and where they came from. It turns out they are from the Immortal Realm and were created by a Dark Queen rather than a dark princess.
This already makes her a threat. However, as for how they managed to find this island, there is a small memory obtained illegally by one of the Dark Fiends.
He overheard the Dark Queen speaking to someone and referred to the person as an envoy of the Soul Temple.”
Everyone except Vexthra became lost in what Zaila had just said. There is just no way they understood or knew who this Soul Temple is.
But Vexthra does.
“The Soul Temple is the biggest threat in the universe. They are the opposite of the Righteous Faction.” She paused and let her mind settle before she continued
to speak.
“From what I know, after the Great War, two factions rose. The Righteous
Faction, led by the Celestial Council and ruled by the Supreme Celestial. They became protectors of the universe, or so they claim.
They are not perfect, but from the history books, they have come through for the universe in every era.
Then there is the Soul Temple. They claim the universe needs correction, and so, for years, they have done everything they could to bring the universe to its
knees.
They have aided the Calamity Beasts, Shadow Creatures, Dark Creatures, and every other threat that came for the universe in the past.
Their power and influence are so great that not even the Celestial Council was able to destroy them. In fact, from what I know, they are far more deadly than the Righteous Faction could afford to mess with.
So they let them be, and for years, their circle only grew. They have eyes and ears everywhere, and if they want something done, they have a million and one ways to get it done.
If they are the ones aiding the Dark Queen, then there is a 100% guarantee she would be reborn, and since her consciousness is that of a supreme, we can already see she would be coming back as a supreme.”
The ladies looked stunned, unsure of how to process what Vexthra had just
said.
Even Kent was a bit stunned. He had yet to learn anything about the Soul Temple from all three of his lives after the Chaos Dragon fell during the
Primordial Era.
Of course, he wasn’t much of a threat in his life as Lord Genesis, but he had his
fair share of encounters as the Faceless Assassin.
But even so, he had yet to meet these people. This is a clear sign that they are
not a simple organization.
“One last thing, their greatest achievement was killing the Night Riders,”
“WHAT,”
