Chapter 1407 She Is Back

[God Realm – Unknown Planet]

Somewhere in the God Realm, a True God quickly made his way through a

stormy cloud, his body covered in divine energy. He seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere and could not afford to be late.

He had travelled from a very far place to get where he was headed.

A few hours later, he arrived on a planet where, from the moment he entered, the smell of herbs assaulted his nostrils. Looking around, some of the most valuable herbs in the universe could be found there.

However, despite their value, the True God didn’t seem to have interest in any of them. He flew rapidly toward a small mountain where a beautiful mansion stood, its front doors open.

The smell of the pill could be felt, smelled, and seen escaping the vents of this building.

It wouldn’t take a genius to know this was a pill house, and judging by the value of the herbs around and the smell of the pill, the owner of this planet must be a legendary alchemist.

Just the smell alone showed that the person is pretty advanced on the path to pill-making.

When the True God landed on the mountain, he didn’t rush to enter. He stayed outside for ten hours before a voice came from inside.

“Come in.”

He walked into the building and quickly made his way to a living room where a handsome Elf sat on a throne.

He was extremely handsome, and judging by the aura around him, he was without a doubt a recently ascended Universal God.

“Greetings, my lord,” the True God bowed.

“At ease, Landon. You can sit.” Landon nodded and raised his head before sitting in a chair opposite the Elf.

In the vast universe, he is known as the Eastern Pill God. There are many Pill Gods in the universe, just like there are many sword gods.

However, just like how the Immortal Realm is known by the five divisions – Eastern, Western, Southern, Northern, and Central – the God Realm is the

same.

In the Eastern region, there are fifteen Pill Gods, with him being the best of them. His name is Pill God Brandon. But they mostly refer to him as the Eastern Pill God.

So his fame is wide, and his expertise as a Pill God is also undisputed. This is why a True God is bowing before him, as if his life were nothing significant. But then again, even the Supremes would be respectful before him because of

what he can do with herbs and flame.

His pills are legendary, and that is known by all.

“Well, why did you rush here in haste, Landon?” Pill God Brandon asked.

“She is back, my lord,” Landon replied, sounding like he had been waiting for a while now to say those words.

“Who is back, Landon?”

“The Heaven’s Daughter.”

“What…” The look on Pill God Brandon’s face changed. The initial nonchalant expression gave way to interest, hunger, and joy.

“Where is she?” he asked.

“We tracked her to an immortal planet. However, before we could go there, she was taken away.”

“Taken away,” Pill God Brandon gritted his teeth. “By who?”

“Kent Madson.”

A frown appeared on Pill God Brandon’s face. He had been looking for one thing for the past millions of years, and just when he found it, she was taken away by someone he knew all too well.

“Do we know why he took her away? Did he know the kind of person she is, and most importantly, did she know the kind of person she is?”

“I am not sure any of them do. However, from what my people gathered, the Dark Elf King on the planet had a son who enjoyed putting arrows through defenseless people.

He captured a batch of slaves, in which the Heaven’s Daughter was one of them. However, the night before he could start what he called the hunt, Kent Madson appeared, killed him, and rescued all the people he had captured.

This means he had no idea that the Heaven’s Daughter was good fortune walking, and he most certainly didn’t know the kind of treasure he had rescued. He merely rescued slaves and killed a scum.”

Pill God Brandon sat there for a few minutes, the frown on his face deepening. During the transition period, he killed the Heaven’s Daughter not because she offended him; it was merely an excuse to get what he wanted.

That thing had propelled him to where he is now. However, every good thing comes to an end, and so he had been looking for her again to continue his winning streak.

Now that he had found her, the next thing was to get his hands on her. However, Kent had entered the scene, and that is just not something he saw

coming.

To him, when he heard about Kent, he wasn’t interested one bit. He is an alchemist, so a swordsman making waves was nothing to him.

He had no interest in going after Kent. However, now that he has something he wanted, he knew he had no choice but to join the hunt.

The value of the Heaven’s Daughter is too important for him to allow her to fall into the hands of someone who has already gained the recognition of the

Sword Dao.

That now felt like a threat, and he just could not allow it to happen.

“Pull all the strings you can to locate this Kent Madson. Remember, eliminating him and retrieving the Heaven’s Daughter is now the priority. He is a wild card that cannot be allowed to live for long.

So do that, and even if you have to call in the favor of some of the people who owe me, do that. I want him dead and the treasure retrieved alive.”

“I will do as you say, my lord,” Landon said with a nod.

“I know you will.” Pill God Brandon sighed, then he asked another question, “How about that lady we tried recruiting a couple of thousand years ago?”

“Pill Immortal Flura?”

“Yes. Her. What is the progress so far?”

“She rejected our offer three times. However, recently, she had concocted a Tier 21 intelligent pill with two Violet Pill Rings. This drew much attention to her, so I sent three demigods to take her by force. But, they didn’t return.

I have no idea what happened, but I am sure someone extremely powerful is protecting her from the shadows.”

Pill God Brandon smirked and retrieved a medallion from his space ring. “Take this to the Silent Shadow Tower. They will listen to whatever you want and grant it without any resistance.

She must be brought here at all costs. With her talent, refining her will push me closer to becoming a Pill Supreme.”

“I will not fail, my lord.” Landon took the medallion and stored it away. He stood

up and, after giving a respectful bow, he flew away. He had received his

mission, and so he had to get on it.

After he was gone, Pill God Brandon remained in his chair for a few minutes

before a heavy sigh escaped his lips.

“Kent Madson, you have yourself to blame. Crossing me is the last thing you

will ever do.” He grinned and stood up from his chair. However, after taking three steps, he stopped, and his body shuddered.

“What in the hell was that?” Just now, he sensed a very terrifying glare lock onto his body. The glare was from a predator, one who had shed so much blood that just his gaze could make even a Celestial shit their pants.

He shook his body to wipe away the fear and continued on his way, unaware that he had already offended someone he shouldn’t have three times.
