“Now I am intrigued. I need to know more of Kevin’s life,” Kent muttered, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

It wasn’t often he recalled his past and came back with amusement. He most certainly didn’t expect Kevin Sage’s past to be this colourful and full of mischief.

Now that he had seen how that life began, he would most certainly love to see how it ended. However, he had no memory key for that yet, so all he could do was focus on the next item on his schedule.

Once a memory key appears, he would get down to it.

He shifted his attention to the requirements he had to complete if he wanted to become a Pill Sovereign.

This time, there are four requirements he must fulfill compared to the previous ones. It can be said that this is a much steeper step he must take.

Of course, he already had plans to master the concoction of Tier 13 and 14 pills. However, Tier 15 isn’t something he prepared for just yet.

The requirements said nothing about whether or not he should concoct a perfect Tier 15 pill with pill rings, so he could concoct any purity level and be done with it.

This means he must exceed all expectations. He could get the recipe and ingredients, but it would take him another level of genius to be able to come up with a pill that the Pill Dao would approve.

Tier 15 is out of his level, and he knew that.

“There is always a catch to everything, so I can only work hard and come out with a perfect pill,” Kent smirked and stood up.

“Tower, any updates?”

Three hours later, Kent was left with his jaw hanging.

“I knew someone was plotting evil against me. But who would have thought my own wives were the ones who did the plotting?”

“I guess that was brilliant thinking. With how famous I have become, my name would indeed carry all suspicions away. However, who knows what kind of evil these Dark Elves are planning for my head by now?”

Kent smirked. “There is even a good chance they have already cursed me thousands of times, knowing the kind of people they are. Maybe I should take Axiom and the others and eradicate them from the face of the universe just to be safe.”

[That would be ideal. But the Master has some missions lined up. The first being your meeting with the Midnight Shadows. Afterwards, you are to head to Planet Brymrr to go see that lady.

Gaia and her sisters are making progress much faster than initially expected. They are on track to finish the portal in less than two years, so you don’t have much time.]

Kent nodded, but he said nothing. He knew rescuing Safira was must. She is the only solution to his growing heart demon. This means she needed that hateful lady’s help.

However, going to see that lady is not something he can take lightly. There is just no easy way to handle it.

“What are the girls doing right now?”

[They are waiting for Lady Yi Lai to finish her Dragon summoning ritual, then they will head to the 9th floor.]

“Good. I will join them on the next mission. Once that is handled, I will head back to Planet Bayla to meet with the Midnight Shadows. The rest will be handled after that.”

After relaxing for a day, he started over again.

He first had to update the pill recipes he had received with what he has now. This way, he would know the changes that occurred and what had to be done to fix them.

It took an entire day to do just that. Afterwards, he started working on Tier 13 pills.

Meanwhile, inside the Legion Tower, everyone was waiting diligently for the last portal to close. Already, four of the five True Immortals Yi Lai had sent into the dragon trial returned as full-fledged undead dragons.

The past few weeks inside the tower had been one shock after another.

The first shock came when Elaine summoned three Death Agents, each at the peak of the True Immortal stage. They each had five Immortal Qi and powerful bloodlines.

It was after this summoning ritual that the girls realised that the grave inside her Life and Death Space holds so much terror than what she could describe.

Even Vexthra was shocked when the summoning ritual ended, and three terrifying beings walked out from their graves.

One shocking thing that came with them was the expansion of Elaine’s Life and Death Space. The expansion affected both her and her Primordial Spirit. Initially, her Primordial Spirit was only at the Spirit Ascension stage. However, after the summoning and expansion of her Primordial Space, she moved to the peak of the Spirit Lord stage.

It was something none of them saw coming. She is now extremely powerful since her Primordial Spirit can aid her in combat.

Aside from her, Veera had also created her five undead, each coming out as a

True Immortal. The limit of the high world didn’t affect them. They all came

out powerful, as one would expect.

Then came Yi Lai, who also received four True Immortal undead dragons. The outcome was in their favor, and thus far, only one dragon was left to come out. “Maybe he is dead,” Kaizo muttered, already bored. He wanted to have a duel with Elaine’s Death Agents or Veera’s undead, but Vexthra said no. She knew just how persistent he could be, so she prevented him from having some fun. This soured his mood, so he was already pissed.

The only chance he would get to fight is when they enter the dungeon. However, they had been stuck inside the tower for weeks now, all because one of Yi Lai’s potential undead dragons had yet to come out of the trial.

Everyone ignored his comment.

Since the portal was still active, he must still be alive. It was just that he had not yet finished his trial, and so, for as long as he remained inside, there was a good chance he was facing a much more dangerous challenge.

Thankfully, four days later, the portal shimmered, and a handsome dragon with pure white hair walked out, exuding the power of an Immortal King. That was a bit over the top, but watching him walk out made everyone sigh in

relief. He had become even more powerful than he was when he was still a

Dark Elf.

The others emerged as True Immortals, but he returned as an Immortal King,

terrifying at that.

“Finally,” Kaizo muttered, jumping down from the tree he was sleeping in. “Let’s gather around. Once we enter the dungeon, we won’t be coming out until

we reach the 15th Floor”
