Chapter 1422 The Ninth Floor – The Damned Prison (5)
[Kaizo’s Battle]
The Rock Titan that Kaizo was supposed to fight became stunned when, out of nowhere, Kaizo descended with a devastating punch.
BOOOM
He was pushed back, crashing into a mountain 20 km away. The punch came with deadly force, and the impact was as he expected.
But Kaizo didn’t slow down at all. He moved, and before the Titan could move back or dodge, a second punch landed on his chest, creating a crack that spiderwebbed toward his neck.
He was sent flying again.
“That name is Kaizo; do well to remember that before you die,” Kaizo grinned, then he moved his body again, radiating an intense golden lightning.
At once, his speed tripled. He closed in on his target, and before he could dodge again, Kaizo landed another punch. He was sent flying back even further now.
The 4th punch came, and he tried to dodge. However, Kaizo grinned and, using the same momentum, he attacked with a devastating force. He tried hard to dodge, but in the end, the punch landed on his body, something that took him aback. There was just no way he expected the punch to land on him.
He had all the time in the world to dodge, but it seemed that whenever he dodged, Kaizo always found a way to land his punch. Even more annoying, whenever he lands a punch, the grin on his face widens.
After the 10th punch, Titan activated his three immortal Qi, hoping to change the scene of battle. However, the next punch again landed on his body, leaving him in great shock.
“I advise you to face me like a man because no matter how fast you dodge, I will always land a punch.”
Titan narrowed his eyes, the cracks on his chest healing at a rapid pace. He is deeply connected to the Earth Element, so as long as his leg is touching the ground, healing his broken body is as simple as breathing.
However, he seemed to be underestimating what Kaizo said. Instead of going on the offensive or boosting his defense, he continued to dodge, which, after the 35th punch, he finally realised he had wasted too much time.
And by wasting too much time, he had let Kaizo gain the upper hand.
“And now, you are dead.” Golden metallic armor and gauntlets appeared around Kaizo’s body, and in an instant, his body surged with so much energy.
What followed was a total beatdown, one that was made possible thanks to his two innate abilities.
Kaizo had taken about 4 Innate Talent Awakening Pills, which, thanks to them, had awakened some powerful abilities.
Two of the abilities are the [True Punch] and [Unhealing Punch]. They both are innate passive abilities.
The [True Punch] allows him to always land a punch. It doesn’t matter how fast his target is; whenever he attacks, his punch will land on his mark.
The only way to defend against it is to use a robust defensive strategy or to take the initiative and go on the offensive first.
Titan was arrogant, or more like was made to become arrogant, since he decided to take Kaizo on like the titan he is. Unfortunately for him, Kaizo came from a race of Ancient Angelic Titans. he is crazier than any titan still living.
And to make matters worse, the [Unhealing Punch] took effect after the 20th punch. These innate abilities make it so that all damage dealt by Kaizo cannot be healed.
Even if one has a terrifying healing ability like Kent, their healing speed will drop by at least 90%. So Kaizo wasn’t punching because he liked to punch things. He was punching so his [Unhealing Punch] innate ability would activate.
The moment the ability takes effect, the winner is determined.
The cracks in his body aren’t healing, and the more Kaizo punches, the wider the cracks seem to grow.
“As the saying goes, arrogance is bliss,” Kaizo landed an uppercut, sending Titan flying up. He jumped up, appearing overhead with a downward kick.
BOOM
He was sent flying to the ground with a thunderous boom.
“In my entire life, there is only one person I know who can be arrogant in the face of danger but still win. His name is Kent Madson.”
He stomped on Titan’s rocky jaw, creating a crack. He followed up with a dangerous kick that sent him flying back.
“You are not Kent Madson.”
The more punches, kicks, and stomps he unleashes, the stronger he becomes. After all, his third innate ability, which is also passive, has to do with his strength and stamina.
[Unyielding Might]: The more True Punches you land, the stronger and more energetic you become. The effect is temporary.
Basically, Kaizo has awakened three passive abilities that seem to align perfectly with his nature.

[Unity’s Ability]
Unity advanced steadily toward the direction the mission description took her. Along the way, she started formulating the perfect formation she would be going for.
Feisty, who came from her incarnation as Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, came up with the perfect formation. And thanks to Blossom, the goddess of love’s strategic and insightful thinking, the formation was refined to the best possible form.
By the time she had everything perfectly handled, she was 4 km away from the cave.
But she came to a halt and split her body in half just when a powerful sword arc closed in on her.
One of her innate abilities allows her to split her body in two, with one part taking the form of Artemis (Feisty) and the other of Blossom.
This allowed her to evade, but before she could merge her body back together, the Goblin King appeared overhead, attacking with a wide swing, aiming for Blossom’s head.
Blossom moved back, and in a smooth motion, she painted a block of metal.
CLANG
The sword landed on it, creating a metallic sound. She quickly painted a bat, and then, with a casual hand seal, the painting became real and multiplied, filling the entire space with thousands of bats.
They swarmed the Goblin King in an instant, causing him to be blinded for a second. That split second of blindness allowed Artemis to unleash a powerful arrow aimed at the cut on his chest.
“AaaaaggGGGG”
He was sent flying back, blood oozing from his chest. Unity seized the moment and merged back.
However, instead of attacking with an arrow, a paintbrush appeared in her hand, and with a few strokes, a large arrow, about 400 meters long, appeared from the clouds and locked onto the Goblin King.
“Blossom Giant Armament Descent”
RUMBLE
The heavens shook as the giant arrow descended, its deadly tip locked on the Goblin King. Inside Unity’s primordial space, Blossom formed a couple of seals, and at once, the Goblin King found himself locked in place.
“What…” he tried to move his leg, but it seemed to be locked down.
“Feisty,” Unity rose into the air, her bow crackling with lightning. Pulling on her bowstring, a 3-meter-long arrow materialized on it. Then, from her primordial space, Feisty appeared and augmented the arrow. This gave the arrow a deadly soul attack quality.
Just then, the giant arrow landed on the Goblin King’s defense. This created a single opening, one that Unity was ready for.
“I expected a good fight, but you were already injured, so I guess this is where we end our battle. So long, Goblin King.”
She released the arrow, which vanished from sight in an instant. The next second, it appeared. It was going through the Goblin King’s head.
A few seconds later, his defense shattered, and the giant arrow finished him. His chest was pierced through, and he was impaled to the ground.
An orb flew from his chest the moment he died and merged with Unity’s forehead. She fell back and passed out.
A minute later, her body was cocooned in a golden shell.
