Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1436 Meeting An Old Friend Again

Chapter 1436 Meeting An Old Friend Again
[Planet Bayla – Midnight Temple]
After leaving the Supreme Realm, Crimson Dagger and Thousand Blade made their way to the God Realm, where, after two days, they moved to the Immortal Realm. Then, after another three days, they headed to the High World.
When they arrived, Silent Requiem and Black Arrow were already back from the Void Seal and had made arrangements for the arrival of the Supreme Elder of the Midnight Shadows.
All Midnight Shadows that were not on an active mission had been recalled, and even a few immortals came to ensure this meeting would go on without any issues.
When they arrived, the first thing Thousand Blade asked for was where Kent was.
“Lord Faceless had already cleared the Void Forest and left. However, he has given us a way to contact him when you return with Lord Supreme.” “Then let’s call him,” Thousand Blade said, and Black Arrow nodded. He retrieved an item that looked like a jade stone, then crushed it.
Seated inside the Sword Tower, Kent opened his eyes and stood up. He had condensed a soul token when he left Planet Bayla the last time and gave it to Black Arrow, so when he crushed it, he felt it.
This was the call card he left them.
“Looks like they’ve returned,” he muttered before teleporting into the Harem Tower to shower. It took him less than ten minutes to get that done.
Afterward, he went to check on Kaelith, who was still recovering. He hadn’t woken up just yet; however, since all his wounds had healed, he seemed to have recovered physically compared to before he was rescued.
Kent became happy seeing these improvements.
“Keep healing, buddy. We will have proper revenge when I ascend to the Immortal Realm.” After saying that, he walked away and soon returned to Planet Bayla.
He appeared 20 km away from the Midnight Temple. Without even taking a step, he sensed a presence that had covered everywhere. The entire planet was covered by this presence, so he didn’t even bother to hide his own presence.
He advanced quickly toward the temple. In no time, he was standing at the entrance, where he could see lines of assassins, each clad in black armor, waiting for him.
This sight made him smile slightly. He was proud to see such a sight.
They were all powerful assassins, each with a name that would shake the hearts of many. He began walking toward the large throne standing majestically for him to sit on.
As he advanced toward it, he couldn’t help but wonder just how powerful his Midnight Shadows had become. He could sense no aura coming from any of them, as expected of assassins. It was as if they weren’t there.
If not that he could see them, there was just no way he could sense them, even if they had appeared inside his Soul Map. Perhaps if they were 100 meters away from him while his soul map is active, he could pick up on them.
But an assassin getting within 100 meters of a target is half the job done. So there was just no way he couldn’t be proud of them.
“I wonder how many of you are wearing your real faces,” he muttered with a slight smile. They kept their faces calm, but deep down, they couldn’t help but smile.
The reason the midnight shadows are dangerous is their ability to change their faces and other aspects of their being.
Even if they aren’t Faceless Agents, Faceless left them with more than enough techniques to ensure every last one of them is protected.
Soon, Kent had made his way to the front, and that was when his eyes landed on Crimson Dagger. He let a smile appear on his face…
Crimson Dagger held a calm look on his face.
It can be said that he had known Faceless the longest. After all, he was the first assassin Faceless had recruited and personally trained. The two of them
basically formed the midnight shadows.
They spent over a hundred years together before the second assassin was added. So if anything, he is the right person to confirm if Kent is indeed the Faceless Assassin.
Kent knew that, so he also prepared well before coming.
“You know, I never pegged you as someone who pays attention to their hair. When we met, you had low-cut hair and paid little to no attention to your
appearance.
Now, it seems you have changed. I wonder which lady has finally managed to change you, Titus.”
Crimson Dagger’s eyes narrowed for a second before they widened. However, he quickly calmed down and began a sentence…
“The black sheep is always…
“Ready to be slaughtered by the butcher even if they had done nothing wrong”
“It is really you.”
“In the flesh.” Kent smiled and opened his arms wide. Although he is against hugging men, he made an exception for meeting an old friend.
Under the stunned looks on everyone’s faces, Crimson Dagger walked forward and gave his old friend and savior a big hug.
Everyone sighed, letting down their guard. They were all tense, for they had been informed someone important was coming to meet them, and so they
came.
However, as assassins, they knew not to let their guard down, not when they had no idea who they were coming to meet.
Now that they could see what was happening, they knew even if Kent was a trouble, Crimson Dagger would handle him.
“You really have returned,” Crimson Dagger said after making sure Kent was indeed a real person.
“I’ve indeed returned, buddy. It took some time, but I am back.”
Crimson Dagger smiled, then turned to the hundreds of assassins present. “Everyone, greet the Faceless Assassin.”
None of them hesitated. They all went down on their knees and gave a warrior’s bow. “Greetings to the Faceless Assassin.”
Kent smiled and gestured for them to stand up. “Be on your feet, guys. I am back, but as you can see, I am as weak as they come, so there is no need to be
overly modest.”
Crimson Dagger smiled and shook his head. “Looks like you are still the same. Since when is the Faceless Assassin weak? When we met, I was an Immortal Lord, and you had just become a True Immortal, but when we dueled, I was defeated in just three moves.”
Every last assassin present raised their brows, their gazes turning to Kent.
He smiled and responded, “That was because you were weak”
“Oh, do you want to have a go? I will even suppress myself to a Shadow King to
level the playing field.”
“Nope. I just had my bath, and I don’t intend to dirty my clothes with your
green blood.”
Chuckles and silent laughter filled the temple. Crimson Dagger just shook his head. He knew the real Faceless Assassin, so he could tell just how shameless he could be around people he considered family.
While he can be considered one of the most serious assassins to ever walk the face of the universe, when around people he is comfortable with, he can be the
sweetest person.
Kent walked toward the throne and sat down. The familiar sensation he had always felt when he sat on this throne overwhelmed his senses.
The memory of the last meeting he had with his Midnight Shadows before he left for the Shadow Realm came to mind, making him take a deep sigh. Looking at the hundreds of Shadows staring at him with respect, his pride as the founder of the Midnight Shadows slowly started to surface. After taking in this feeling for a while, he started to address them. “Thank you all for meeting me…”
