Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1438 Catching Up

Chapter 1438 Catching Up
“I will be needing your help in about 94 years from now,” Kent said, turning toward Thousand Blade. He became stunned, but immediately recovered and asked.
“How can I be of help?” Although he had no idea what Kent wanted from him, the mere fact that the legendary Faceless Assassin asked for his help meant everything to him.
Being useful to the Faceless Assassin is a chance none of them will pass up on.
“I received an invite from the Dark Warden. He is organising a ball for the young talents in the Eastern Galaxy 94 years from now. Apparently, this ball is intended to foster unity among young talents preparing for the opening of the Chaos Rift.
I know he is inviting me with an ulterior motive, since I was the one who decimated his family on this planet.
Of course, it may also be a big misunderstanding, but because word will spread that I will attend that ball, there is a good chance some bad seeds will appear and try their luck at capturing or killing me.
So I need your protection from the shadows.
Find a way to get invited to the ball and keep a lookout for me. When things turn sideways, I will be counting on you to step in.”
“I will do my best to handle this mission with absolute care,” Thousand Blade said with a composed expression, showing he understood the assignment.
Inwardly, though, he is more than happy to show the Faceless Assassin what he is capable of.
“Though I have to ask, is Lord Faceless planning on also entering the Chaos Rift?”
“It sounded like a big deal, so of course I will enter. I will be embarking on a mission a year from today, so I can’t ascend to the Immortal Realm just yet. But in less than ten years, I will reach there and start preparing for whatever this Chaos Rift will bring.”
Crimson Dagger smiled on the side. As someone who had known Kent the longest, he couldn’t help but have a sense of déjà vu.
For half the time he had known Faceless, if he wasn’t moving from one mission to another, he was exploring ancient ruins.
So, even long before Thousand Blade asked the question, he knew he had already made up his mind to enter the Chaos Rift.
“It is going to be the biggest adventure in the history of the Immortal Realm,” Crimson Dagger said. “This Chaos Rift, from what I know, came from an entire Star System from the Chaos Era.
Rumour even has it that the rift will link to the Battleworld, where the last stand of the Chaos War took place—the same place the legendary Divine Beast Tamer fell alongside his Ten Calamity Beasts.
Trust me, this rift opening may be both good and bad, so you’d better prepare well. The last thing you want is walking into an unknown realm surrounded by millions of Immortal Lords and Demigods.
Many gods will even enter with avatars.”
Kent nodded to his words. He had already made up his mind to enter the rift, so there was no need to start rethinking that decision now. If anything, hearing this place is linked to yet another life he had lived should be all the more reason to go there.
“I don’t do things without preparing first, buddy. When the time comes, I will be at my peak and ready to grab whatever opportunity the Chaos Era has for me.”
After a few more discussions, the meeting with the Immortals ended, and they left. Soon, only Crimson Dagger remained.
“How are the others?” Kent asks.
Crimson Dagger was the first Midnight Shadow he had recruited. However, the day he made him a Faceless Agent, there were six others.
After he died, they became the Seven Elders of the Midnight Shadows.
“Broken Dagger is on a mission somewhere in the Supreme Realm. It has to do with the Silent Shadows. Over the years, they have resurfaced, but we are keeping them at bay for now.
Whispering Spear has been in seclusion for the past 4 million years after he became a Supreme. I am sure he had awakened something big, and so he had been working to comprehend it.
Needle Eye is now the Supreme Queen of the Dark Elven Race. The last I heard, she killed the original Supreme and stole her face. Personally, however, I think she is on a mission related to the Green Elves.”
“Why do you assume that?” Kent asked.
“Six million years ago, rumours started spreading that the Supreme of the Green Elves found a dagger that used to belong to you.
And well, we both know how Needle Eye feels about you, so against my best judgment, I’m sure she is planning on getting it back.”
“She was always a troublemaker, even long before I met her and made her a Midnight Shadow.”
“Yes. She only grew more troublesome after you died.” Crimson Dagger smiled and shook his head. “I wonder what she would do if she heard you are back.”
“Better to keep it from her ears until she is done with her mission.”
Crimson Dagger nodded and continued.
“Phantom Edge ventured into the Shadow Realm 8 million years ago. His life crystal is active, so I know for a fact he is still alive.”
“He is always adventurous and fearless. When I met him, he was leading a ragtag group of ten wannabe assassins on a mission to kill a Warlord.
I warned him against it, but he was keen on it. When I found him, he had killed the Warlord but was also near death’s door.” The image of a certain dark-haired, tan-skinned Pantherkin appeared in his mind.
“Phantom had always been reckless, but after you died, he did some amazing things. He even assassinated a General from the Soul Tower.”
“Well then, he’d better return early, since I plan on bringing an end to the Soul Tower this time around.”
Crimson Dagger seemed stunned, but he recovered, recognising the monster he was talking to.
“Dark Venom had joined the Venom Hall and has since climbed the ladder, becoming one of their top-ranking members. The last I heard, she had concocted her first Celestial Poison Pill and even earned the recognition of the Poison Dao.”
Kent just smiled, already aware that the most dangerous assassin he had recruited into the ranks of the Midnight Shadows would never stop following the path of poison, regardless of how much time had passed.
Dark Venom was someone who had dedicated her entire life to walking the path of poison. If anything, he expected her to be ruling the Venom Hall by now.
“Lastly, the Black Widow vanished 2 million years ago. None of us knows where she has gone, but 300,000 years ago, I found one of her marks at the entrance of the Nameless Temple.”
Kent widened his eyes. “You don’t think she actually entered that place.”
“Knowing her, I wouldn’t put it past her. She had always done the impossible; entering a Calamity Zone seemed like something she would do.
Of course, there is a chance she left that there to throw me off. But as it stands right now, I don’t know where she is.”
“What a headache.” Kent thought for a moment, and then an idea popped into his mind. “Have you tried asking the Cult of Wisdom? Her second persona is linked to them, after all.”
Crimson Dagger smirked. “Those arrogant nerds gave me nothing when I went to them. However, there was a rumour they had found a gem in a certain High World, so I don’t know if she had gone after him. She always likes smart people.”
“Oh, a gem, they said?” A grin formed on Kent’s face.
