Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1448 Raining Meteor

Chapter 1448 Raining Meteor
The only way Kent could break the spear the lion had unleashed was to sever its connection to it.
He thought of several ways, but when he measured his current strength against such a monster, he knew he was outmatched.
He could try outrunning the two beasts using the Jade Void Wings, but that would defeat the purpose of why he bothered facing them in the first place.
He was here to see how much he would fare against a powerful opponent. Although so far he had his ass handed to him, that doesn’t mean he had used all his trump cards.
In fact, he had yet to use any.
So with time running out, he knew he had to call one of his trump cards. Kenna’s ability to sever connections to the soul was what he needed. So he called her, and thanks to that, he managed to destroy the spear.
Now, with Kenna having a soul battle with the lion, he was free to focus all his attention on the octopus.
“Try to keep up.”
Saying that, all flame veins activated, and his dragon wings hummed with power. One half of the wings became green while the other turned red, each lit in flames.
They hardened, and with a gentle flap, he was upon the octopus. It tried to retaliate, but with Kent moving at that speed, all its tentacles were merely swinging wobbly in the air.
He was moving so fast that at some point, he started to believe he was the only one moving. However, that thought left his mind the next second when he saw the octopus stop and try to attack instead of focusing on countering his speed. This made Kent slow down further.
However, the moment his speed came to a halt, he saw the sea turning to ice. From the ice, giant spears started to form.
Kent immediately realized he had to stop playing around and unleash the big guns.
“Let there be rain.”
He flew up into the air, and when he was high enough, he activated 200 meteors. However, instead of making all 200 rain down at once, he focused only on one and caused it to move at a crashing speed.
The moment the octopus saw the large stone fall in its direction, a sense of dread filled its heart, so it also activated the ice shards, causing hundreds of them to shoot at both Kent and the stone falling toward it.
Kent activated the Chaos Scale Shields and started blocking the attacks. Meanwhile, the meteor was also being bombarded to the point that cracks appeared in it.
However, just when it shattered, a second one was in its place. Before long, the octopus was forced to defend against it.
But that was the start of its nightmare.
At the start of the battle, Kent wondered how he would be able to fight against such a monstrosity. He was but a bug compared to the monster. However, now, watching as one meteor after another crashed down on the octopus, he could not help but feel like he was not as weak as he expected. Sure, there were moments when even he would not have a chance to use any of these weapons. However, when the chance presented itself-like how this one did there was just no way he would fail to use it.
He had formed 45,000 meteorites so far, and each week, more were added. So he could use them more if he had the chance to. But even if he could not use them as he expected, there were the 450 asteroids waiting for him to use. Basically, he only needed the right conditions to use these weapons.
“Now that I think about it, instead of just creating attacking weapons, I need to think of ways to make weapons that can give me a better chance at using the attacking weapons.”
Paragon had already told him that when it came to the soul universe, the only limitation was how deep his imagination was and how much soul essence he had.
Aside from these two, he could do just about anything.
So if his imagination was wild enough, there was a good chance he would be able to create something that would aid him in creating a good enough environment so he could use the meteorites and asteroids more effectively. Provided the right conditions are met, with the power under his disposal, he could even kill an Immortal Lord.
“I will think about that later; for now, let’s make sure this beast dies fast enough so I can be on my way.”
More and more attacks managed to land on the beast, but some were defended against. In the end, after the 200th meteorite landed on its body, it was sent
crashing into the sea.
The entire water was soaked red, showing just how many injuries it had
sustained.
But because it was still breathing and healing thanks to the water, Kent decided to unleash another trump card.
The sky turned red and green just as the tip of a finger appeared through the
clouds.
He decided to see how powerful the finger of destruction had become.
The octopus felt the danger as the Finger of Destruction appeared, so it tried to make a run for it. However, the power of the technique prevented it from even moving an inch.
So it could only try to defend itself as the finger moved toward it. In the end, against all odds, the octopus could not handle the Finger of Destruction, and so the battle came to an end.
Its humongous body sank to the bottom of the sea, which Kent did not chase after. It had already died, judging by how fatal the Finger of Destruction was. Half of its body was reduced to nothing. That alone was enough proof that he had won and that the octopus was dead for good.
However, he had some concerns about the Finger of Destruction.
“While it has now become powerful after forming the second Flame Core, even with both working hand in hand, I was only able to unleash 45% of its true
power.
Just what am I missing here? I have the energy to sustain and use it at least 10 times before running out. So how come I could only use 45% of it?”
This question left him disappointed. However, feeling the pain coming from parts of his body where he had sustained injuries, he knew he had to deal with
that first.
He won, but that was because he used the meteors.
While that was part of his strength, if he had not gotten the chance to use them, he would have been forced to flee. But he won, and that was enough evidence that he had grown much stronger than he thought.
“I hope when this journey is over, I will be able to develop more weapons to better aid me in combat.”
Just as he said that, a powerful howl came from under the ocean. A few seconds later, Kenna burst from the water, holding a reddish orb about the size
of three basketballs in both hands.
The smile on her face told Kent she was very happy, so he did not bother to ask
her the questions he wanted to.
“Go back and start absorbing it. Next time, I will call Calix or Bello.”
She frowned; however, what Kent said next made her smile again. “There are many battles ahead of us, so the earlier you absorb it, the better.”
“Then I will be leaving. See you later.” She vanished back into the soul universe, where she immediately started absorbing the soul orb she had extracted directly from the lion’s soul.
Kent, however, used the Soul Map to scan the lion’s body. Considering it death
came at the hand of a soul attack, it was perfectly intact. After a few moments of thought, he stored it in the tower storage and resumed his journey.
