Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1455 Becoming Friends

Chapter 1455 Becoming Friends
“So what do you think now? Do you think I can be trusted now?” Kent asked with a smug expression.
Hearing his question, the Western Queen stared at him for a few minutes before a smile appeared on her face.
She had her doubts. However, after seeing what Kent could do, all those doubts were cleared. She was now able to trust him.
Even if not trusted completely, the mere fact that her Spirit Root had reached the God Grade said it all. Kent helped her, and she could not deny that.
“I suppose I should have trusted you earlier on. However, in my defense, I was apprehensive because you were sent by my enemies.”
“Fair enough. However, now that I have proven I can be trusted, don’t you think it is time to tell me your name?”
“Randel. My name is Randel.”
“Beautiful name. I guess you are not only beautiful; your name matches your looks.”
She smiled, which was a good sign because, after all, Kent had no plans to live inside the forest for long. The more familiar they get, the better.
But he also promised to help her, so there was that too.
“I promised to help you, and I will. However, I also have to leave this forest since this is not my destination. That said, I will leave some treasures with you that will aid you in both soul cultivation and body tempering.
Right now, you are just a step away from achieving the Nirvana Body, so I will leave the required treasures for that. If you pay more attention to your training, you will achieve that in a few months.
There is also the issue of your soul. That, too, will depend on how much effort you put in, but I have no doubt that reaching Tier 30 in less than a year wouldn’t be impossible.
I will leave a communication device so that when you reach the required stages, you can call me. I hope by then, even without the Bloodline Ascension Pill, you can break through to the demigod stage.”
He retrieved a storage pouch containing so many treasures that Randel had never seen before in this life. Kent used 4 billion tower points to purchase them since he had more than enough.
“I have no interest in trying to deceive you, Randel. I just want to be on my way, so trust me when I say becoming a demigod and eventually a god is something you can achieve irrespective of what you believe.”
Of course, Kent isn’t doing this just because he wants to leave the forest in one piece. Just like how he wanted to form a good relationship with the Eastern Queen before she turned out to be scum, he wanted the same with Randel.
She is an Immortal Lord on the path to becoming a demigod.
While he has demigods and gods at his disposal, having more is not too bad. Randel is a Blizzard Qilin, someone whose powers will come in handy in battle.
The ability to control blizzards is good for wide-area attacks, so having her as a friend is better than playing a fast one on her.
“A year from now, when you finally make the progress you are hoping to make, be sure to know I never lie when it comes to helping those I consider friends.”
Randel raised her eyes to give Kent a critical look before asking, “So are we friends?”
“I believe so. Of course, we have just met each other, but I have no doubt that in no time, we will become great friends.”
“I don’t mind becoming your friend. However, if later I find out all this was a scam and that you have deceived me, I will look for every way possible to kill you.”
Kent laughed and replied, “Rest assured, I have no interest in deceiving you. If anything, I want you to succeed so I can brag and say I have a demigod friend called Randel.”
She smiled as well.
“Don’t pluck the Golden Blood Spirit Fruit just yet. Let it stay on the tree for now. I will let you know when I am ready to concoct a Tier 15 pill so you can pluck it.”
Randel nodded and asked, “Where do you intend to go? I have connections with a few merchants who travel the various continents in this world. I can ask one of them to take you where you want to go.”
“That is a great offer, but if I know which continent is closest to this place, I will be grateful.”
“The Ice Continent is the closest. It is about a five-day journey from this place. However, you need to have some form of ice resistance if you want to survive the weather there.”
“I have that covered.” He has Absolute Ice, so that place will be like a home to him.
“One last thing, do you happen to know who the ruler of this planet is?”
“No. However, you can find out more when you get to the Ice Continent. Their capital is Snow City, so ask around there, or even better, pay for information at any information guild.
But be careful who you ask. Some are evil and would sell bad information just so they can later double-cross you.”
She tapped into her space ring and retrieved a jade token. “Take this to the Green Ice Restaurant and ask for Lord Bimk. Show this to him, and he will aid you in any way you want.”
Kent received the token. “Thank you.”
“No need for that. As you said, we are now friends,” she said with a smile.
“Sure.” Kent also smiled. Now that he had received all the information he needed, leaving was the most logical thing to do. However, he did promise Calix that at the end of the day, he and Bello would have powerful souls to absorb.
So he would make that happen.
He reached into the tower storage and pulled out a disc-shaped item. A couple of years ago, while still on Sonox, the planet he first arrived on, he used this disc to fight a group of people who just wouldn’t listen to advice.
It is a battlefield located inside a pocket dimension. Inside, unless one of them dies, they would remain locked in.
Kent planned to use it against the Eastern Queen and her friend, who tried to pull a fast one on him. He activated the battlefield, and within it, the three-headed lion’s large body, which Kenna had killed, appeared. A second later, Bello appeared beside it and vanished into its body.
A minute later, the lion opened its eyes and stood up.
Since it had come to this, Bello would be using one of his abilities, which allows him to possess the bodies of dead beings and detonate their core.
Detonating the core of an Immortal Emperor would surely severely injure even a Pseudo-Demigod, if not kill them completely.
A few seconds after Bello successfully possessed the three-headed lion’s body, the map the Eastern Queen gave Kent appeared inside the battlefield.
Then, a second later, a Spirit Grape Fruit appeared beside it, and after a moment of suspense, it exploded, releasing soul essence.
The scroll glowed, and then a formation opened.
I am not feeling well…
