Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 1456 Core Explosion

Chapter 1456 Core Explosion
[Ten Minutes Before The Map Activated – Eastern Region (Wooden Mansion)]
“It’s been hours already. Why hasn’t he died yet?” the Pseudo-Demigod asked, her expression turning ugly.
It is clear her patience is thinning since it has been hours already, but Kent didn’t die, so the transfer formation embedded in the map would trigger.
She was the one who came up with this scheme simply because she wanted her hands on the Golden Blood Spirit Fruit.
She had already reached the threshold to step into the rank of a Demigod, so with the fruit, she would be able to do that.
In her hand, she would have had more success than Randel.
She also wants to become a Queen who, over time, will rule over the entire forest. When she met the Eastern Queen, she first wanted to kill her and take her place.
However, after their initial clash, she realised that while she may appear stronger than her, the Eastern Queen is too fast for a single attack to land on her.
It looked from an objective viewpoint, the eastern queen was far more deadly than her.
So instead of being at each other’s throats, they formed a blood contract where the Eastern Queen will help her become a Demigod, and in turn, she too will help her reach that stage.
The Eastern Queen had no plans to leave the forest for long, since her ambitions are more focused on world domination. So after they achieve their cultivation goals, they would part ways.
Kent’s accidental appearance in the Eastern Region was an unexpected surprise and a good opportunity to move forward with their plan.
But even after a day had passed and nothing had happened, they started to wonder many things.
“Relax. He already knew I meant business, so he wouldn’t try to pull a fast one. But even if he did, there is no chance he would live long enough to enjoy his freedom.
I have already informed my people, so they will be on the lookout for him.”
“That is reassuring to hear, but how do we know he hasn’t joined forces with that bitch?”
“Oh, please, don’t make me laugh. We both know she wouldn’t hesitate to snap his head off when she senses his presence. The last thing we should consider is them becoming a team. I am sure any moment from now, we will be invading her domain.”
The Pseudo-Demigod wanted to say something, but she forced herself to stop. In hindsight, even if Kent somehow manages to escape, there is a big chance. they would find another way.
Ten minutes into their panic talk, they both jolted to their feet when a formation suddenly opened.
“Told you.” The Eastern Queen summoned a spear and walked toward the formation. The Pseudo-Demigod summoned no weapon. She casually walked into the formation and began forming a hand seal.
“I will take her on while you go for the fruit. Once we get it, there will be no need to kill any more. We can retreat before she activates that annoying domain of hers,” the Eastern Queen said before stepping into the formation. The next second, space warped, and they vanished from the room.
[Inside the Battlefield]
Bello, still possessing the three-headed lion’s body, had already prepared to go boom the moment his targets appeared.
Kent is still on the outside; however, he can see everything happening inside the battlefield. His time to enter had yet to arrive, so he stood there, watching as the formation grew brighter.
A few seconds into the wait, two people arrived.
When the Eastern Queen and the Pseudo-Demigod saw the three-headed lion, their pupils shrank. That was because they recognised it, and as far as they knew, it had already died.
So how then is it standing before them now?
This question made them instantly raise their guard. However, with what Bello had in store for them, raising their guard was futile.
“My master says hi.” With that, all six eyes on the three heads glowed crimson, and then everywhere turned red.
On the outside, the connection between Kent and Bello was severed, and a wave of pain slammed into his head. It turned out sharing the same eyesight with Bello came at a cost, one that left him breathing wildly for a few seconds. Meanwhile, inside the battlefield, the moment Bello exploded the three-headed lion’s core, everything became quiet. Even the screams coming from the two ladies were drowned out, with only red light filling the space.
It took over ten seconds for the light to clear.
When it cleared, the Eastern Queen lay immobile, her body completely black and scarred, while the Pseudo-Demigod remained on her knees, her chest rising and falling like she had been struck by thunder.
Her skin had also turned black, and judging by how weak her breath kept coming out, there is no doubt she was not too far from death’s door herself. Suddenly, Kent appeared inside the battlefield, a smile playing on his lips.
“Looks like I have to start collecting dead bodies,” he laughed.
Seeing the devastation caused by a single explosion, he became more drawn to the unique ability Bello possessed. The ability to possess the body of a dead being and explode its core long after it died is just too overpowered.
“But before that, allow me to send you away drowning” The Underworld Soul River rose, and the large doors swung open, unleashing the water coming directly from the River Styx into the battlefield.
In an instant, the Pseudo-Demigod was drowned, her screaming mixing with the already soul-shattering howls coming from the river.
It took her just four seconds to succumb to the Underworld Soul River. However, Kent kept it open for ten seconds more just so he could store some more soul pressure into the Death Star Cannon.
In the end, he managed to finish off the Pseudo-Demigod, and with that, the battle that he would have lost if he were to face them in person had been taken care of with an Immortal Emperor core explosion and the Underworld Soul River.
Once he confirmed they were indeed dead, Kent summoned Calix, who appeared with a stunned expression. He was hiding inside Kent’s shadow all this time, so he also saw the devastation of both attacks.
“I guess you were right. With the right preparation, killing just about anyone is possible,” Calix said, walking toward the body of the Eastern Queen.
“Never doubt the power of prep time.” Kent smiled, watching as Calix retrieved the soul core from the Eastern Queen’s body.
He then proceeded and removed that of the Pseudo-Demigod.
“I suppose you are right, Master.”
Kent nodded. “Give the big one to Bello when he wakes up.” Calix nodded as well and vanished back into the soul universe.
It would take Bello a few days to get his body back in shape. By then, Kent would be long gone. Now that the hard stuff had been handled, he had no reason to stay much longer.
He waved his hand, and the bodies vanished. The next second, he appeared inside the garden, the two bodies appearing with him.
Randel’s eyes widened when she saw the dead bodies.
“As I said, I wouldn’t leave with them still breathing” Randel could only stare at him, stunned.
In the end, she had no choice but to completely believe she had indeed met the real Kent Madson and could confirm that his fame wasn’t exaggerated.
