“Kent…”
The moment Kent appeared inside the second floor of the Planet Killer Dungeon, he was surrounded by fairies, each coming for a kiss. It’s been a while since they last saw him.
He kissed all his women, making sure they felt his warmth.
“How are you all doing?”
“We are just getting ready to head to the third floor. Will you be joining us?” Unity said, sounding rather happy now that Kent had arrived.
“Looking at how much you all have grown, I don’t think you need me to help you clear the third floor, but since I am here, I might as well go with you to see what is there.”
They all nodded, feeling even more secure. Kent’s presence felt calming enough that they wouldn’t mind him staying for a while.
Though they knew he was a busy person, asking him to stay was not an option.
“But before we head to the third floor, I have some things to handle first.” Kent snapped his fingers, and eight portals appeared.
Eight terrifying undead walked out, bringing with them a powerful pressure that everyone felt; even Kent felt his body getting pressed down.
This shows his new undead aren’t simple at all.
Before entering seclusion, he gave the task of creating eight undead using the Undead Schematic he had received from the many quests he had completed to Gaia and her two sisters.
Naturally, Kent expected and knew the three troublemakers would handle the job well or even beyond his imagination.
They did a remarkable job, one that made him wonder just what ran through their minds. They designed the undead and added the personalities that will make them both relatable and equally fierce.
However, what he didn’t expect was that six of the eight undead would be ladies. That part took him aback. However, while that part of the outcome was unexpected, the eight undead were anything but simple.
Somehow, in a funny yet surprising kind of way, the three cosmic lolis used the shadows and the void to create some of the most powerful beings Kent had yet to see their kind in this life.
They were supposed to be created months ago, but they were stuck in a loop or some weird comatose state.
The reason they were stuck in that loop was so that Kent could awaken their true names. Now he did, and they are ready to fight for him.
The first one that appeared was somehow different from the eight that had just appeared and less terrifying than them. However, she was, in fact, the strongest among them and is now the strongest in the legion.
Not even Kent’s wives could compare to her.
Even if their primordial spirits joined in, perhaps someone like Unity or Princess Lovina would have a shot at defeating her.
But even so, their chances are slim.
She is clad in elegant violet mage armor, reinforced with arcane weave and dark mythril threads, her silvery-white hair cascading down her back.
Her amethyst eyes glow faintly, almost similar to Kent’s own purple eyes, and in her hand is a long, elegant staff that can be converted into twin swords, allowing her to go into melee when she wants to or is tired of being a mage.
Her name is Elyndra, a Voidweaver Sorceress.
The reason she is dangerous is that she specializes in spatial manipulation, arcane destruction, and soul-binding illusions.
Perhaps Veera, who until Elyndra appeared held the title of strongest in the legion, can fight her to some extent.
Still, with Elyndra’s understanding of spatial magic, Veera cannot compete with her current comprehension of the void.
The gap between them is vast, and that alone will go against Veera.
The second is also a lady, clad in black-laced exoskeletal armor interwoven with pulsing crimson tendrils. Blood-petal mist swirls around her body, hiding her form in a haze of shadow and crimson.
Of course, this is just her warrior look. If she were to deactivate it, she would be approachable. But in her battle-ready state, she seems both elegant and terrifying.
That is Morne, the Moonveil Executioner. Her class is rare, combining lunar sorcery, deathbinding arts, and cursed blade mastery.
Almost everything about her is somehow related to death.
The third is also a lady.
She is clad in jet-black Gothic armor with intricate, bone-etched engravings and glowing, red veins that pulse faintly.
Her cloak is torn, but it flows like a shadow itself, red on the inside, black on the outside.
Her hood covers most of her face, revealing only a faint crimson glow beneath.
Just like Morne, Velmora also has a rare class called Reaper Empress.
It is a class that makes her a supreme executioner of shadows.
She commands souls and dances with death itself.
She is a master of scythes, shadows, and forbidden death arts.
Kent planned to talk to his three assistants about where all this obsession with death came from. They appear innocent, but deep within, they are much more dangerous.
The fourth is a Shadowflame Reaver called Varkhiel. He is an assassin who uses both a dagger and a katana.
His affinity to shadows and flame is unparalleled, and while he couldn’t face someone like Veera or Elyndra in a one-on-one battle, killing them in his own way wouldn’t be too much of a headache.
He is built to walk in the shadows and harness their power.
The fifth is also dangerous in her own right. She is called Seraphyne, a Shadow Warlord. Her shadow and void affinity is also deadly, and if care is not taken, she might claim Varkhiel’s title as the lord of shadows.
However, while Varkhiel sneaks through the shadows, Seraphyne harnesses the shadows to combat in melee style.
Her armor is also terrifying.
She wears jagged, abyss-black armor laced with violet runes that glow faintly with cursed shadowy energy.
Her helmet is horned and faceless, with glowing purple eyes piercing through the visor.
The sixth is Velithra, Umbral Archer. She is someone Kent planned to give a technique he received from Faceless called Shadow Echo to.
Velithra is a deadly archer with an affinity for both shadow and the void.
What makes her dangerous is that aside from having the ability to use the shadows to transport her arrows, she can also add the void to them, making it nearly impossible to track her arrows.
That is just too much.
However, the technique Kent intended to give her would make it ten times harder to track her arrows, since with Shadow Echo, she can create misdirections that confuse anyone she aims her bow at.
Unity has just gained a rival—and perhaps a best friend.
The seventh is Selantra, the Lunar Warden. Unlike the others, she is a knight and also a warlock of some sort. But that is what makes her dangerous.
Aside from harnessing the power of the moon, her mastery of the greatsword makes her a terrifying warrior.
She is clad in obsidian armor veined with glowing golden glyphs.
Her helmet is sleek, with no visible eyes—only radiant golden slits glowing like starlight.
Her cloak trails shadows that ripple as if alive.
The last of them is Varyn, a knight whose nature also leans more toward an assassin.
His class is called Voidblade Knight, and just like Velithra, he also has an affinity for the void, but instead of shadows, his class leans toward soul art.
He and the Shade King will be best friends.
“Everyone, meet your new teammates,” Kent said, introducing them all to the legion. Everyone surrounded them, wanting to know them better.
Kent used the time to take Princess Lovina into the tower, where he planned to awaken her True Name before climbing to the third floor.
