Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System - Chapter 789: Clearing the Third Floor

Chapter 789: Clearing the Third Floor
[Three minutes before The Oddyssy of Death was activated – Val’s POV]
The moment Val assumed her goddess form, everything became crystal clear.
She no longer felt the pressure coming from the Hellhounds. Instead, she felt her body filled with so much energy that she couldn’t even think of how she would expend it.
Her body had become stronger, and her attack power had also increased.
Feeling the energy oozing from her body, she felt energized.
She then directed her attention to the hellhound. The aura coming from it was just too potent for any of her sisters and friends to face it.
She immediately felt a repulsion toward it. The energy coming from the hellhound is filled with evil intent.
“That is one evil intent. I wonder what kind of abomination they did to this creature.” Instead of pointing her sword at the hellhound, she extended her hand, forming a potent moon energy.
She made it fly toward the hellhound, whose body was being pressed down by her overwhelming presence.
The hellhound may be a powerful Spirit Lord, but under the goddess’s power, it didn’t stand a chance. Slowly, the energy Val sent flying fell on it and engulfed it in a white radiance.
“Hmm, that is a demonic art aimed at devouring the life force of all living things. It’s even more advanced than the life-devouring array Alina showed us.
If not because this city was protected by a formation causing it to devour the life force of its inhabitants much slower, this bastard would have long reached the heavily ascension stage.”
Val smirked, then extended her hand, conjuring a mighty sword.
“Time for you to die.” With a gesture, the sword fell, piercing the neck of the large hellhound. It died rather quickly.
The moment the colossal body fell, she waved her hand, and the dark energy around it was cleansed.
“Veera would find a good use for you.” Though it will be suppressed to the Core formation stage, the moment Kent ascends to a high world, Veera can start to increase her cultivation base.
This will also allow the hellhound to regain its cultivation.
With that, she moved away just in time for the Oddyssy of Death formation to be activated.
Meanwhile, Kent was also slowly moving toward the completion of his side of the battle.
He had established the foundation for his sword technique and was only waiting for the rest of the tigers to be dealt with before killing the Tiger King.
Of course, when the last of the tigers fell, he paused and looked at the battered and scared form of the Tiger King. The hellhound he was using to brag was killed in under three minutes.
If nothing else scared him, then that alone was something that scared the shit out of him. Kent smiled, knowing the battle was over. He accomplished what he wanted, and so the battle was a wrap.
“Thank you for your help. Had it not been for you, I wouldn’t have gained the clarity to form the foundation for my first sword technique.
To thank you properly, I will now use the technique I created to cut off your arm.” Kent raised his sword and brought it toward him.
Then, trailing his finger along the blade, a powerful golden flame filled with intent and sword aura appeared on the sword, causing a powerful air to start rising around Kent.
“I will call this technique, ’Genesis Flame Sword.’”
Kent took a powerful swing, sending out a golden arc, one that turned the color of the surroundings golden for a moment, and then everything returned to normal.
However, long after the attack ended, King Renie screamed agonizingly as the pain from the attack was finally registered by his brain.
His right hand was cleanly severed from the shoulder, causing the sword in his hand to thud on the ground, still gripping it.
“That was for helping me create this sword technique foundation.” Kent smiled, but genuine happiness was not evident in his smile.
Vexthra told him that the wounds Camilla had sustained had been healed, and now, all she needed was rest; in a few months, perhaps, she would be as good as new.
So he was happy on that front, but angry at the Tiger King for being the cause of this. Of course, that was Kent just being petty. He just needed an excuse to torture the bastard, and now, he had one.
“Though the sword technique is still not perfect, it would allow me to sever your legs.” His fingers trailed the blade of his sword, engulfing it in the potent flame energy.
Kent attacked again, and this time, the king lost both his legs. However, it didn’t end there; Kent went ahead and severed the rest of his arm and even went so far as to cut off King Renie’s ears.
By the time he was done, the king was nothing but a limbless tiger on the ground.
’Hmm, I wonder why none of them used their beast form during the battle,’ Kent suddenly noticed something. Despite the tigers being beasts, they all fought in their humanoid form, not even one taking their beast form.
This made Kent wonder why they had done that.
“Were they too confident they would win, that instead of taking on their strongest form, they became cocky?”
For some reason, Kent didn’t believe that.
The tigers in the unbreakable city aren’t all weak. They may be cocky, but when their wall came down, they knew the new enemy wasn’t like the others, so at that moment, they could have used their beast forms.
But they didn’t. This means that something else was involved.
“I will find out soon enough. After all, this floor isn’t like the others. I feel like this floor is real and not animated. Meaning, strangely, my team and I have appeared in a high world.”
Kent took out the world teleporter; however, no new world was registered on it.
“Perhaps I may be wrong.” He formed a ball of fire and threw it at the dying body of the tiger king. In a few seconds, his body was reduced to ash, screaming through those short seconds.
⟦Congratulations on clearing the third floor of the Dungeon. Your rewards have been sent to the tower storage⟧
Kent sighed, looking at the ash remains of the tiger king.
“Perhaps next time, I should be wary of when I choose to form the next sword foundation. This time around, had it not been for Val helping with the hellhound, I would have been forced to abandon the process and focus on the battle instead.
But now that I have formed the perfect foundation, I can start building the various forms. The requirements said I needed seven forms.
The current patterns can handle only five forms.
So I would need to add new ones to accommodate two more forms?”
Kent moved and was soon hovering in the air, looking over the destruction he and his team had caused.
“Though they didn’t get to end the battle with Plan A, they did manage to kill almost 50,000 tigers. That is enough for them to be happy about.
Though I am sure they are happy looking at the defeated looks on the faces,” Kent turned and looked at his legion, every last one of them looking dull like they hadn’t just gone into battle against a bunch of Spirit Kings and Emperors.
He smiled and moved toward them.
